Our master bedroom remodel actually started because the old carpet had worn down and the room felt outdated. Once everything was removed, they discovered a few uneven spots in the subfloor that needed to be leveled before installing the new flooring. We went with wide plank engineered wood, and they ran it wall to wall so there aren’t any awkward breaks in the room. They also replaced the baseboards with taller trim and added new recessed lighting to brighten the space. It’s still the same bedroom we’ve always had, but it feels cleaner and more finished now.

Adding an ADU to our property was a major project, but the process was surprisingly smooth. We were living in the main house throughout construction, so I was initially worried about the mess, but the crew kept the site incredibly organized from day one. They handled the heavy lifting of utility work and grading with precision, and once the framing went up, it came together fast. It doesn’t feel like an afterthought or a quick conversion; it’s a beautifully finished, standalone home that offers total privacy. We’re thrilled with the quality and how well it fits into our existing space.

We remodeled our hallway bathroom mainly because the old tub and tile were starting to show their age. Once demo started they discovered the subfloor near the shower had some water damage, so they replaced that section before moving forward with anything new. After that they installed cement backer board, waterproofed the entire shower area, and then started laying the tile. We chose a matte porcelain tile for the walls and a smaller slip-resistant tile for the shower floor. The vanity is a floating style mounted into the studs so it feels sturdy, and the quartz top was templated after installation so it fits tight against the wall. One small detail I appreciated was the recessed niche they built into the shower wall so bottles sit on the floor anymore. Now the room feels clean, solid, and easy to maintain, and nothing about it feels rushed.

I wasn’t even sure building an ADU was worth it at first, mostly because I pictured months of noise and a torn-up backyard. For a while it did look like a big dirt pit while they handled the grading and foundation work, but once the slab was poured things started moving quickly. Framing went up and you could finally see the layout take shape. They fit a small kitchen along one wall with full cabinets and a quartz counter, and the bathroom ended up with a tiled walk-in shower that feels surprisingly spacious for the size of the unit. What stood out to me was how thoughtfully the windows were placed so the space actually gets good natural light during the day. Now that it’s finished, it feels like a real little home behind the house instead of a temporary guest space.

The project we finished most recently was remodeling our hallway bathroom that the kids use. The old tub had chipped enamel and the tile around it was starting to loosen, so everything came out down to the framing. They installed cement backer board and waterproofed the shower area before any new tile went in. We chose a simple white subway tile for the walls and a darker hex tile for the floor so it wouldn’t show dirt as easily. They also replaced the old vanity with a wider one that has drawers instead of just cabinet space, which makes a big difference for storage. New lighting and a larger mirror went in at the end, and the room finally feels bright and functional instead of cramped and worn out.

No drips, no patchy spots, no weird roller marks. The stone they installed in our entryway has great variation and was laid out thoughtfully, not randomly. They clearly care about how things feel as much as how they look. The space feels cleaner, brighter, and more intentional. I didn’t have to ask them to fix anything, which is basically unheard of in remodeling. Would hire again without hesitation.

Framing went up first, then windows, then insulation and flooring after it was sealed off from the weather. The coolest part was how they matched the exterior so it looks original to the house instead of added later. It’s now where we drink coffee every morning.

We recently remodelled our two upstair bathrooms. In the master bathroom we changed from bathtub to standing shower with tiles on the floor and walls. In the guest bathroom we replaced a new bathtub and installed tiles on the floor and walls and new bath screen doors and new vanity in both bathrooms. We looked online for a general contractor to remodel our bathrooms here in Los Angeles , i found Olympia construction online, we called them and another company to give to us an estimate, i choose Ryan and Olympia Constraction and I’m very happy.
we choose him because his price was fair but what helped us make our decision was his good answer for any question and he never pressured us to sign the contract. We are planing to remodel our kitchen next and for sure will call Ryan and Olympia Constraction.

With our new room addition, Olympia Construction did try to sit down with us to work with our budget, give us free rein on what fixtures we would like to put in, and give us input and advice on design, I just wish Ryans shared more of his expertise in the areas where we unknowledgeable like light fixtures choices before installing. There were some disagreements and unclear objectives which should be addressed in the contract. Make sure all the measurements are on point and everything you want is in the contract. His foreman was great. Overall it was a nice experience.
