I needed my old 1973 unit replaced. Stephan provided a very competitive quote...over 2,000 less than other quoted I had received. We worked out an install time about 5 days after signing a contract. Because my old unit was so antiquated, Juan and Tim the installers made sure everything would work perfectly and installed an extra sump switch for the condensate. Great experience. If you need heating and air work, these guys will treat you right. Stephan has my number that I don't want to publish on the internet, but I told him if a customer wants a referral, give me a call.

Stephan looked really sketchy cause he really wanted the job and the price he was giving me was unbelievable low, so I was nervous and thought it was a scam but he delivered and the job was definitely great, they charged me 9 thousand less than “same day Heating and air conditioning” so that’s pretty much why I was sketched out but they delivered perfectly, I have no complaints and I will used them for my rental house.

So pretty much if you feel like Stephan is trying to scam you because of the cheap price, please don’t worry he won’t let you down.

Great experience with this company. Stephan had his crew out within a few days and they replaced an old A/C system and quickly installed a very efficient A/C system in my home at a very reasonable price. I would recommend this place to everyone.

After more than 20 years, it was finally time to replace the entire HVAC system in my house. I secured bids from three well-known HVAC companies in the San Diego area. Each of their quotes was within a couple thousand dollars of the others. I was about to sign on with one of them when I found a booklet of home-improvement advertisements that came in the mail. Buried in the middle of it was an advertisement for a Alanis Air, a company I had never heard of before. Stephan sent his dad out that same day to provide a quote. When their quote came in 43% lower than the others, I thought it had to be too good to be true. I researched the company online and asked a lot of questions, and, somewhat reluctantly, pulled the trigger and went with them. Could not be happier that I did. 72 hours later, I had an entirely new HVAC system in my house and the installation crew was remarkably friendly, skillful, and efficient. I have zero hesitation recommending this company for all of your HVAC needs.

These guys are the best HVAC contractors I have used. Stephan and his family run this business with a level of care that you rarely find anymore with contractors who are run by managers without a personal stake in the happiness of their clients.

These guys installed a heat pump for our upstairs and downstairs units along with new furnaces as well as an iWave air purifier. This was not an easy installation, primarily because the access up to and within our attic is very cramped. Nevertheless, Stephan and his team didn't provide excuses, they provided competent results.

In June of 2021 Alanis air installed heat an air conditioning in an older mobile home for me..

So friday January 26th 2024.
I returned to Oceanside from Florida after being gone for 4 months.

A warning came up on the thermostat saying it wasn't working so a neighbor loned me small Space Heater and I slept with 4 heavy blankets on me. Never got above 60° in my house..

I called my home Warranty company that night. they could not find anyone & three Days later they left me a Voicemail saying we can't help you we can't find anybody ,so get Someone on your own. and will reimburse you.

I looked back through my records and found Alanis air I called and Stephan answered immediately just like the time when I contcted Angie's List he me on the phone immediately Within about 10 minutes time from when i'd contacted Angie's list..
Even while he was in northern California at a wedding.... No isn't that someone who goes the extra mile?
I ordered as soon as His Father came over to give me an estimate and was very pleased.

Needless to say they're gonna come out and fix whatever it is whether it's the thermostat or Whatever The issue is. A fairly new system That's.worked beautifully..

Great service, Amazing people my family and I really enjoy the heat in the winter and this major rainy season but the air during summer is great,cool and refreshing especially on those higher then normal temperature days. The people that work there were extremely friendly and courteous to us and did great work even with my wild bunch running around. If I have any repairs to be made they let me know I can count on them. I definitely have recommended them to family and friends and will continue to do so.

They put in a new HVAC system and it would not pass there's testing. They came back once to fix the problem n it still would not pass the test. It has been 8 mo since unit was installed n unit still not fixed. Owner keeps giving me the run around and making excuses. Says he will text me the date of when his crew will b here to fix the unit, but that never happens.when he is talking to you he suddenly gets that bogus call of an important call, so he has to hang up. What a crock and pore business practice. I would never do business with this company again .

There was a miscommunication on installation day, but Stephan was quick to resolve the issue and the rest of the installation went flawlessly. Stephen and his team completed a full HVAC installation at my home. While I paid in full for the service, I soon realized the air conditioning system wasn’t functioning properly. Despite multiple attempts to contact them for a fix, no one was sent out to resolve the issue. I eventually had to hire and pay another HVAC company to correct the problem because Stephen stopped responding to my texts and calls entirely. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.

I contacted them on a Friday, and they promptly dispatched their crew to install my new HVAC system on the following Tuesday. I am extremely pleased with my decision to choose Alanis Air.

Stephan and his crew replaced my natural gas heater with a heat pump. The price was reasonable, and they were able to schedule the work within a week. The installation took place on December 3, 2025. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end.

Throughout the installation, they cut corners whenever possible. For example, the condensate drain from the air handler was routed in a way that blocks access to the air filter, simply because it was easier for them. I was also supposed to receive a new thermostat, but instead they reused the old one. The existing thermostat was not wired for both heating and cooling, so rather than doing the job properly, they installed it next to the air handler, where it is essentially useless for controlling the temperature in the rest of the house. I ultimately had to run new wiring myself and install a new thermostat near the original location.

On December 11, while I was in the attic planning additional insulation, I discovered that not all of the ductwork had been replaced, despite this being included in the quote. I notified Stephan immediately. He acknowledged the issue, thanked me for pointing it out, and said it would be taken care of. I even offered to pay his standard rate to have an additional duct installed.

Stephan told me to coordinate directly with Fadie, the installer who originally did the work. When I contacted Fadie, his only response was “who is this text,” and after I explained the situation, he never replied again. I then copied both Stephan and Fadie on follow-up messages. Stephan occasionally asked Fadie to respond, but nothing ever came of it.

On January 11, I informed them that they had until January 16 to resolve the issue. There was no response. In the end, I spent several hours on a Friday evening completing the duct replacement myself.

While the initial pricing and scheduling were good, the workmanship, follow-through, and customer support were extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

I'm satisfied with the outcome. I made a bundle deal with Stephen the owner, his guys replaced the 22 years old hvac, the 28 years old gas water heater and they installed a 240 Volt outlet for my ev charger with the best price in town (I know this because I have asked around), the company is Licensed, bonded and they will only do under code and safety standard! I'm a business owner myself, and reputation is paramount. Based on others positive experience with the company, I approve! His crew were friendly and polite. They cleaned the trash right after. I met Stephen dad, Stephen's business partner when he dropped off the units. He was a gentleman and friendly.
Hopefully, I don't have to call for warranty but if I do, I think the company will be easy to deal with. Thank you Alanis Air for your service, we are enjoying the faster ev charging much more convenient, the hotter water supply coming out the shower and a warmer home this winter.

These guys rock. I've used them before, but now there's no one else we will go to. Sharing my most recent experience: had an AC problem on a hot day but Alessio was still able to squeeze us in very quickly. Robert came out and found the problem, explained his solution (which was genius) and did professional work. Shout out to Wayne too who also top notch and so appreciated!
