I recently had my air conditioner serviced by Viking Cooling & Heating, and the experience exceeded my expectations.

Scheduling was easy, communication was prompt, and the team was professional from start to finish. The technician arrived on time, was clearly knowledgeable, and performed a thorough inspection and service of the entire system.

He explained what he was doing along the way, flagged a few routine maintenance items to monitor, and made sure everything was running efficiently before wrapping up. I especially appreciated the transparency—no pressure, no upselling, just honest, high-quality work.

Since the service, my A/C has been running colder, quieter, and more efficiently. It’s obvious Viking takes pride in their workmanship and prioritizes customer satisfaction.

My experience with Viking was perfect. I was using a company that was really lacking action so I called Viking. I had a refrigerant leak, when I called they were super friendly, they scheduled me quickly, Trevor took care of it super fast, he cleaned up without a trace and it’s been working great ever since. 100% recommend these guys

I had a really great experience with Viking Cooling & Heating when I needed furnace repair at my home in Temecula. The technician arrived exactly on time, quickly identified the issue with my furnace, and had the heating system fixed the same day. With the colder nights lately, I was very relieved to have the heat working again so quickly.

The team was professional, knowledgeable, and very honest throughout the process. They clearly explained what was wrong, gave fair pricing, and didn’t try to push any extra services. Everything went smoothly and my furnace is running perfectly now.

Viking did an amazing job installing my heat pump mini split in San Marcos. They showed up on time and kept their work area extremely clean. Their price was extremely reasonable and they were great to work with. I’ll be using them again for sure!

Honest estimates and advice.

I'm giving Jim 5 stars. After calling a few places, he was the only one that answered his phone and was here to fix our AC next morning. Our AC wasn't cooling our home and what ever it was, he fixed the problem at a low reasonable cost. Thank you JIM! We will definitely use you again.

JMS is awesome, honest and very responsive. I called about my central air not working and he came the next day and fixed it on the spot. Had the needed parts in his truck and literally just charged me for a service call. Highly recommend him, nice old school type of reliable service.

JMS west redid all our hvac at our church and saved us $1000s. They were professional and timely. We also used them to fix some mini splits at our house we were having issues with for years. Within a day they had it diagnosed and fixed. Highly recommend them!

Great company! They installed a new furnace and air conditioner in my home at a great price. Jim and Justin did a fantastic job, highly recommend them!

I’ll update this as things progress, but for now—I'm in Vista and looking to redo my HVAC system. I currently have a Trane XR12 that I’ve learned to repair myself, but it’s very old, quite noisy, and not as energy-efficient as it should be. That said, with Vista’s mild climate, efficiency hasn’t been a major concern—noise definitely has. Right now, it literally sounds like a jet taking off in three of the bedrooms.

During my research, I’ve stayed in several places that use Mitsubishi mini-splits, and one thing that really stood out is how incredibly quiet they are. That, along with their efficiency and flexibility, made me seriously consider going that route. I even put together what I thought was a solid mini-split design.

When Curtis came out, we had a really in-depth discussion about mini-splits—he clearly knows them well and was completely open to installing that type of system. But he also introduced me to several other really good options I hadn’t fully considered.

Overall, this was a really valuable experience. Curtis took his time, wasn’t rushed, and the deep engineering knowledge he had. Explaining how R22 worked in the Trane and the relationship to pressure in newer systems, etc. was invaluble to my nerd brain. He was equally comfortable with multiple approaches and helped me look at the problem more clearly. Not sure if I'll go with him(will update later), but highly recommend you have him take a look at your needs.

Seriously can’t say enough good things about Curtis at Air Benders. He fixed my AC a few years ago and today, when my AC broke down, he showed up within a couple of hours, which was awesome. He is friendly and professional, really knows his stuff and gave me great advice. He is reliable, honest just overall great to work with. Curtis is such a breath of fresh air. He is nice, knowledgeable, fast, helpful. I am not sure how much more I can add there. He made the trip down *in the rain*. May not sound like much, but if you live here in SD county you know how traffic is in the rain. :) He found an issue (yes, it was/is a real issue) that we did not even call him for. He even said you are a handy guy, you can fix this yourself! What service technician does that?!? Highly recommended! Oh yeah - the kids think his company name is cool,..

Curtis is professional, honest, timely. He spent extra time to educate me and double checked my breakers/circuits to make sure everything is safe. I didn’t feel as though he was selling me something I didn’t need and I really appreciate that. HIGHLY recommend.

Curtis at Air Benders HVAC Was awesome! He is a true professional, he’s honest good at explaining things. It was a pleasure doing business with him. Now I have a great HVAC Technician I can call on.

I contacted Curtis because the previous HVAC technician presented me what I felt was an outrageous quote to replace a "fried" circuit board for my AC unit. I had a feeling I was being misled so I reached out to Curtis. Even prior to inspection of the HVAC unit he was surprised at the high quote I was given for the circuit board. Curtis then went to do the inspection himself and found the real issue which was not in fact the circuit board being bad. He also told me whoever was there prior to himself undid some wiring perhaps counting on me to go ahead and pay the outrageous amount they quoted to get it fixed. I had Curtis fix the real issue and even had him clean the condensers and change out air filters. The amount I paid him for the service was well worth it and I saved a lot because of his honesty. Because Curtis is an honest and upfront business owner I am happy to leave him this review.

I called Curtis at Air Benders to try and tackle my broken air conditioning issue. He showed up on time, well prepared, and had a great attitude. He immediately went to work on an issue that had previously left me with a recommendation from a bigger HVAC company telling me I had to replace my entire air conditioning system. He offered me a fair price to do some investigative work on my old R22 unit. He was extremely thoroughly, and gave my entire HVA system a comprehensive checkout to get it up and running again. I can’t begin to recommend him highly enough. Curtis is willing to take the time and has the initiative to do what the other bigger businesses won’t do. He genuinely wants to fix things if he is able and not just hit you with a quick estimate for a total system replacement.

My wife and kids were not gonna do that this summer so Curtis came out and diagnosed our unit and found that the compressor was shot so he gave me the option of either throwing money into this unit or going with the whole brand new unit which he explained the pros and cons and gave me his best opinion on what he recommended. So we went with a whole new unit And we couldn't have been happier. The knowledge and the professionalism that Curtis brings Was just outstanding.
