We made an emergency call to Excel Air on Thurs., July 26 because our heat pump was not working and all we were getting was warm air. We had company in our home and were desperate! They worked us in that very day and gave us excellent service.

I have used Excel Air in the past with a 5 star review. But this time the customer service let me down. In two conversations I was going to get an estimate. It looked as if they were coming today. So I had my daughter in law stay at the house. Then I called to see if that was ok and was told it would be over the phone because they had pictures for the last job. Then I get texted that they no longer service my area. The Web page states if you live in Bonita reach out to us. I am next to Bonita and a returning customer from the same address. Their staff should be trained on there area of operation and if they make a mistake which we all do, they should make an exception especially for a retuning customer.

They simply get the job done quickly and with perfection. The service department couldn't be nicer to deal with. And the job was quite a bit less than the original quote; this tells me they are honest. The receipt shows payment details and also exactly what was done to my heating system. I live out of state so need people like these to help with my summer place. Thanks so much!!

The service person, Travis, was polite, knowledgeable and efficient as he evaluated the functionality of our furnace. I would certainly use Excel again. The office kept me informed about the arrival time. This vendor exceeded my expectations.

Finally decided to get A/C. Alex explained all the options available and answered all our questions. Robbie and crew were timely, kept me informed of their progress, and kept the overall work area clean of debris. New unit cools my 2100 sq ft house quickly. Only concern is with noise from vent adjacent to the main unit which is the room we spend the most time in. Also like the smaller condenser installed in side yard. UPDATE: Richard came out and improved the noise issue! Thanks Excelair!

Professional, honest and knowledgeable. Our a/c stopped and we thought we needed a capacitor or something, hoping our antique unit wasn't shot. Travis came out and checked everything only to find a pincher bug under the contactor. He removed it and everything worked again. He only charge us the initial inspection fee which was alsi reasonable, and would have been applied to repairs if we had needed any. Great guy!

My experience with Excelair was excellent from beginning to end. Kelli is the consummate professional in representing Excelair. She is very personable and quickly assessed my needs. Kelli went above and beyond to expedite my community's process to ensure I was a happy customer. My installers, Robby and Mason, are personable, professional and a great team. Kendra and the entire office impressed me with their kindness. Excelair definitely exceeded my expectations and I recommend them highly!

Special thanks to Alex who came to my house after hours to fix the thermostat make sure we have heating. This happened on a Friday night before a long weekend. If not for Alex it would have been a cold holiday for our family. Alex was also upfront and honest during when providing the estimate, which is why I chose Excel among multiple companies. I was very happy with the service from Excel Air. After an initial misunderstanding they quickly responded and made the extra effort to make sure that it was straightened out and more than made up for it. Richard, Oscar, and Kendra have been beyond the way professionals should be. I dealt with each of these individuals on different aspects or stages of my HVAC needs, and each person made the experience as seamless and easy as possible. Unlike the 4 other HVAC contractors that I tried contacting during one of the worst "Heat Waves" of all time, Kendra or Oscar answered my phone calls 24/7 instead of an answering machine like the others. 3 of the others tool up to 3 days to return my calls, and 1 I still haven't heard back from. Richard jumped through hoops to come out and figure out my issue with a 5 hour notice, and 2 other contractors couldn't figure out. Excel saved the day.

I have been using Excel Air for 8 years and they are superstars. One of the best heating and AC companies in the greater San Diego area. 100% satisfied with their work and my ability to make timely appointments. If you need service or a new unit, call them first.

My Lennox condenser failed in the heat of summer. It was covered under warranty and Excel went way above and beyond to make this as painless as possible. They got the manufacturer to get me a whole new unit instead of just the part which failed. They are awesome and my hat goes off to them, especially to Jason. Thank you so much.

We have been using Excelair for over 6 years now. We purchase a 3 year maintenance contract in which they come out every 6 months and give the entire HVAC system a thorough check. Over the years we've had a number the technicians do the work. I have an engineering back ground and I watch them work. All have been thorough and honest. Today we had Steven Medina do the inspection. He was particularly detailed and capable. We are very happy with their services. Our system is 19 years old and we will contract with Excelair to install replacement equipment when the time comes. They have exceeded our expectations.

Our technician Adrian was very thorough with our AC/Heater unit. He also showed us how to up keep the unit though out the year. We are requesting him for future services.

This is the best company to have your furnace replaced. We had several bids and when it came down to which company offered the most honest & most reasonable work and price, ExelAir was far and away the winner. We accepted their bid and our unit was installed the next day. Very professional and friendly….this is the second time using ExelAir, you won’t be disappointed….

I just happened to be in town visiting, when I received a call about doing the summer tune-up. We were able to get the appointment scheduled the next morning and I was given a call 30 minutes ahead of the serviceman, Leo's arrival. He arrived and checked everything, which I greatly appreciated since I now live in Utah and not San Diego. The entire transaction went very smoothly.

Our heroes at Excel Air in Escondido, CA saved us from the heat. Wyatt and Frankie install8a new AC unit and Furnace in our mobile home. They were prompt, friendly and patient with all our questions. Everyone in the office was friendly and answered all our questions even though we popped in at closing time. The cost was reasonable and we even got a senior discount!

I've had very good experiences with Excel in the past, but Chuck Leonard took it to a whole new level. Very communicative and responsive. Explained everything well and provided a lot of practical advise. Would definitely use next time.
