The AC was in VERY bad condition in our condo, Peter was able to give us an estimate over the phone then a formal estimate in person. His price was VERY reasonable and A LOT LOWER than any other contractors we contacted (4 other contractor estimates). He came with his own PPE, he completed the job in a timely manner and communication was always on point! He kept all his appointments and was always on time! I am a mechanical engineer so I know what we needed and didn’t need, he did not recommend anything that we did not need and he was very straight forward. I recommend Peter for any HVAC jobs you may have and we would not be happier! The AC is working great and we are very thankful!

A few weeks ago, our heating bills were climbing, and we couldn’t figure out why. After a thorough inspection, the team discovered gaps and moisture buildup in our crawl space. They sealed it, added insulation, and even explained how the vapor barrier would help long-term. Now, not only is the house warmer, but our energy bills are down. It’s amazing how such a hidden area can make such a big difference!

Petko and his son are great. Honest, fast and reliable. His pricing is very fair and just an overall nice guy. They came the same day and got my AC unit running again. Embarrassingly, I had to call them again because of a simple fix- equivalent to not plugging something in- and he came and fixed it the same day again in 30 seconds while I looked on sheepishly. I’d use this duo again.

I hired Free Air Mechanical Inc for A/C installation and furnace replacement. Petko, the owner and senior engineer of the company, answered very quickly on my request and within couple of hours came for the initial estimation. He did thorough inspection and explained in details what kind of jobs he is going to do, what kind of equipment I need as well as terms and prices. The prices are reasonable and offered equipment is also of a high quality and efficiency in comparison with other offers from other companies.
As soon as I solved all the HOA paperwork issues we agreed on date and time of the installation.
Petko came with his son on time and they started working without extra words and unnecessary delays. BTW, he offered me a better A/C (higher SEER and much more quiet and efficient) because he found a great last minute deal and couldn't pass by. It was very pleasant and I felt a real care of me as a customer.
The whole installation process took about 6 hours and included A/C installation, furnace replacement, pipes insulation replacement and many other things. The quality of the work is great, all equipment was ready to use and all the garbage removed from the house. Also they did everything very accurate without any damage .

Peter and his son were extremely professional and friendly. They were able to come out the following day and earlier than the arranged time. We had issues with both AC units and they inspected every aspect from the thermostat to the transformer, drain lines and the actual units. Our upstairs unit is running perfectly now, and they made some suggestions that will prevent future problems. The downstairs unit needs a part, but the thermostat was replaced and air is flowing again. Once the part comes in, I have no doubt he'll be back to fix it. If you want a repair team that is professional, efficient, thorough, fair and super friendly - these are your guys. They know our system inside and out, so they will be our go-to from now on!

I highly recommend Free Air. Peter replaced our furnace and AC with a heat pump and air handler. The system has been working flawlessly for six months now. Peter is both knowledgeable and patient and made sure I had the information I needed to make the decision on what kind of system I would have installed. Quotes we got from other much larger installers were not like that and usually just confused me more with contradicting info. Peter was also the only person who even looked at our existing AC unit to see if it could be repaired.

While doing the installation Peter and his son did great work and communicated well with us throughout the process. To no fault of their own they even put in extra hours to make sure the job was done on time.when we found out with short notice our streets would be closed for paving.

Update: I would like to commend on Free Air Mechanical’s excellent warranty service. Few weeks after my HVAC system was installed, I was having a little issue with my AC. So I called Petko and his team arrived promptly on time. They diagnosed the problem , got it fixed in no time, and explained clearly in layman’s term what the issue was. You can always trust Free Air as they stand by their warranty as promised!

Free Air Mechanical sent the most wonderful professional employees to my home to fix my plumbing leak. Their prices were extremely reasonable. They were punctual. They did quick work and left everything clean when they were finished. I cannot say enough good things about this company, and I would highly recommend them.

This is a great company. I have used them twice now, once for a client who's hoist I had listed for sale and once on my own home. Both times there were super responsive getting out for the repair either on the same day or next day. Super knowledgeable, not in a hurry and capable of professionally completing the repairs that were needed. Top it off that they were very nice and polite and you can see why I highly recommend them.
