I am so glad I chose Pacific Drain & Plumbing to complete my drain pipe lining and repairs.
The drain pipes in my old apartment building kept backing up. Pacific Drain & Plumbing were the first company to find the real issue. PD&P used their cameras to pinpoint the failure and show me exactly what was going on, my cast iron pipes where cracked and rusting away.
I got quotes from 3 different companies. Pacific Drain & Plumbing's quote was not the cheapest, but I felt their plan was the best and their personnel the most knowledgeable.
I was right picking this company. The repairs under one apartment went well. They replaced the totally rusted out pipes and lined the others pipes all the way to the city sewer.
Many months later, the drains under the other side of the building failed and water was everywhere. PD&P again did a great job with the repair.
Both repairs where major undertakings. Their teams worked very well together and where considerate of our property and tenants. I would recommend this company and will use them again for any drain or plumbing needs.

In a world where an agreement and handshake was once your bond, Team Mauzy is it, trust me! If you need help they are the ones to turn too. Do not jump over a dollar to save a penny. As an aside, Wayne Head and Anthony and everyone else at Mauzy are the real deal! Sincerely —

Goettl serviced my A/C the day after I called. I appreciated the promptness in this heat. They were very courteous and cost was in line with what I expected. The technician Angel was patient and did a very good job, as access to my unit was difficult. I recommend Goettl and will call them in the future

I am already a ride or die Goettl customer. On Monday (2 days ago) I gave them a call, my wife and I decided it was time for AC, after 40 years! James Estrada a bright and experienced tech from Goettl was dispatched here yesterday (Tuesday), and I had an easy-to-understand proposal last night. The proposal has all our options regarding, installation, insulation , and restoration broken-out perfectly.
Goettl Plumbing and HVAC is new-ish to San Diego, but they have been in business for decades, and they are obviously trying to build a reputation (in SD) for service and quality work at a fair price. This is the second time I’ve used Goettl, and they are Top Shelf! Give them a call, request Anthony for Plumbing and James for HVAC. The Managers and Dispatch team are awesome as well.

Our furnace went out back in December and we had a couple companies come give us quotes. We ended up going with Mauzy because they were able to do it quickly (three days after quotes). In the end, I wish we would’ve gone with another company 😔
Mauzy had great communication, and they’re able to send technicians out quickly. Technicians were always very nice guys, very kind and respectful.

However, we had a brand new furnace installed on a Tuesday, and it didn’t work. They said it’s common with that type of furnace but that makes zero sense if it’s brand new out of the box.
They needed to wait for a part to be in stock. They tried the part on Friday, it didn’t work, so they came back out on Saturday to install an entirely new system.

Once it was installed, we had to wait two weeks and have the city come inspect it (standard procedure). The city said it didn’t pass inspection and they were surprised Mauzy missed part of the installation project (since they are so experienced with HVAC in the community).
We called Mauzy and scheduled the fix, they came later in the week and said it should be good. So we scheduled for a new inspection. It failed AGAIN, and the city said it was absolutely shocking that they thought it would be good enough to pass. It was done incredibly poorly.
Called Mauzy again, they sent a senior technician. The city said it’s honestly not perfect but they didn’t want to keep putting us through this and it’s “good enough”.
With two little ones and a dog, it’s honestly so tough to keep having people come out to the house. All in all, it took 9 weeks of phone calls, installs, and technicians. This cost WAY too much in our time and energy. I wish we would’ve paid more with another company.

Unfortunately, I had a coworker say the exact same thing happened to them with Mauzy installing an AC unit. Super unfortunate, I would not recommend them for HVAC.

Robert performed our semiannual inspection of our heat pump system. He was very pleasant and professional. He gave us some recommendations and the system checkup was good. I was pleased with the service we got.

I hired free air mechanical for my complicated HVAC job. I had a old heater system connected to my water heater in a small closet in my condo on the second floor, and an ac unit on the roof of my condo complex. The water heater bursted and I had to replace my water heater, heater system and ac unit. Peter came out diagnosed the issue, made professional recommendation and performed an outstanding job getting rid of all my old systems and installing a new air handler with a heat pump in my closet and on my roof. He was on time, professional, fast working and very knowledgeable. His pricing was outstanding and more affordable in comparison to other companies I got quotes from. His service and work he performed was as if we were family. Now I have a new heater/ac which work fabulous! Thank you! Highly recommend him and his company for your HVAC repairs or installs!

Our heating bills were out of control, and we suspected the attic insulation was to blame. Leo came over to assess the situation and discovered the insulation was outdated, plus our ducts were in bad shape. He replaced the ducts and upgraded the insulation. Now, the house stays warm, and our energy bills have dropped significantly. If you’re in San Diego and need an insulation contractor or duct replacement, call Leo!

After dealing with a musty smell coming from under the house, we reached out for crawl space cleaning. Ron came out and gave us a detailed overview of what was going on. He found old insulation that had gotten wet and even identified a minor moisture issue. Ron removed the old insulation, installed a new vapor barrier, and cleaned everything up so well that it almost looked brand new!
