True Plumbing saved the day!! I had a clogged sewer line, and the way I found out was walking into my garage and smelling something that only flows down your toilet!!
Adolfo did a great job of explaining what was going to happen, what the cost would be. He was very professional and I appreciated his communication skills.

Honest, detailed work without any games or upsell. Vincent Marmolejo was our plumber. Has been in this trade for nearly two decades and his experience shows. Went the extra step when he didn't have to because he takes pride in his work. I took estimates from 12 others and I found the best in San Diego.

We called True Plumbing to inspect a water heater that stopped working unexpectedly. True’s plumber, Donn, came out the next day and replaced our water heater. He first told us we could repair the part that had failed however we decided to replace instead.

Because Donn had been professional, an excellent technician, and a clean worker, we asked him to prepare a proposal to fix several other plumbing items in our house. We received his proposal the next day. We contacted True and scheduled an appointment to perform the additional work and requested Donn as the tech.

Donn arrived just after 8am three days later and performed all of the requested items. He was just as pleasant, capable and organized as during his initial visit.

It’s comforting when you find a go-to vendor for items that you cannot (or prefer not to) do yourself. We’ll contact True Plumbing and request Donn if we have future plumbing issues.

Absolutely not.

I'm going to start with - they acknowledged multiple issues, apologized, and scheduled a new plumber to come out and fix everything that was done incorrectly. He was a pro and it's over.

But - does that really need to happen? NO.

I got 4 quotes to install two toilets and fix the angle valves in 3 bathrooms. The True Plumbing technician who came out to quote was a pro and that's why True got the work. They weren't the cheapest or the most expensive. I just really liked the technician.

Cut to the day of the work. The technician I met with just a few days prior showed up with what I thought would be his other half. Instead, my guy left (they were overbooked - not my problem) and the technician that he handed the job to was absolutely unqualified to be in the house. He's clearly still learning the trade. Banging against walls, dropping tools, leaving garbage on the floor. It was miserable but I had two broken toilets that needed replacing and a house full of people coming for the weekend.

He was wrapping up and I went to look at the work and noticed that the tank on one of the brand new toilets wasn't straight. He went to fix it and I heard a crash and then water spilling. He broke the tank on the brand new toilet and water was flowing everywhere. And you know what - I wasn't even mad. Mistakes happen. Life happens. He went, bought a new toilet, and returned to install.

He was just about to finish when I walked into the bathroom and noticed that his level wasn't showing level on the toilet. It was off balance. I asked about it and he told me that the toilet only had one bolt and he couldn't do much more.

So, NO. I was being invoiced for a premium rate and was getting a novice.

You can't just call True Plumbing. Their AI/fake receptionist will answer and it's not easy to get a human. So, I texted the AI Bot but I also emailed them. I got a call the next day.

I explained that I didn't appreciate being left with a novice who clearly needed more training and mentorship. I wasn't prepared to pay premium rates for a shoddy job. It all felt a bit like bait and switch. They apologized, reduced the invoice, and booked another technician who came out a few days later to fix every issue.

Before the new technician arrived, I noticed a smell in the downstairs near the bathroom. Turns out, the first guy didn't put a proper seal around the bottom of the toilet and the gasses from that toilet were coming into the house.

There are so many plumbers out there and I truly have to question their high ratings given the disastrous experience we had...

Go elsewhere. They're not cheaper than the other highly rated guys and they're clearly going through some significant business challenges.

I am a loyal, repeat customer of True Plumbing. Today, I needed a very simple task performed by them. It was removing a broken piece from a pipe. It took the plumber 20 minutes to do. They provided no parts. Only labor. I was charged $350! That's $1,050 per hour! They truly ripped me off. I don't recommend this company. True Plumbing, you list my business. Enjoy your money! It's the last dollar you'll see from me!

Excellent service! Vince is a great plumber and True Plumbing is a great company. They installed my water heater a couple of years ago and Vince did the routine maintenance on it today. Kind courteous, professional, and excellent service.

Today, Donn Gatchalian installed an automatic shut off valve for my home. As expected, he is professional, timely, and friendly to work with. I’m very happy with Donn’s plumbing work and glad that his personableness makes up for the company’s use of artificial intelligence in their answering service.

True Plumbing is fantastic! They arrived on time, fixed my issue fast, and were super professional. Prices were fair too. Highly recommend for anyone needing quick and reliable plumbing services. Joel was fast and efficient.

I had leaking faucet issues for quite some time and was initially a little skeptical about the quality of jobs True Plumbing could offer. Nonetheless, Vincent Marmolejo was extremely competent and professional. He arrived promptly for the initial assessment and gave me the estimate for repairing /rebuilding three faucets. The next day Vincent returned and completed the project in 3 hours as he had previously promised! Upon completion of the job, he walked me through what he had completed. I am very delighted to see that the faucets are working nicely, and he cleaned up the work area!!

One thing that I want to emphasize is that he did not suggest you do unnecessary jobs like other people. Another plumber recommended I replace the pressure regulator ($550), Vince examined and tested the regulator and told me it did not need to be done.

In my opinion, Vincent is one of the most competent plumbers I have ever seen!

True Plumbing came to our house within the timeframe that they said they would be coming. That is a plus for me. The technician was very personable. He introduced himself to both me and my husband, and proceeded to flush out our tankless water heater very efficiently. We were very pleased with the job.

Randomly started texting me trying to sell me a $75 water heater flush. Never signed up for texts or asked for information. Never have been a customer.

True Plumbing did a great job. The tech was on Time and texted me when he was on his way. He Serviced my tankless water heater And I was curious so I watched and he explained the process step-by-step as he did it. He also provided information on my Pressure regulator and while it wasn’t ready to be replaced right now, it’s something I need to keep an eye on. Didn’t pressure me in any way to make that repair immediately, he did provide a quote which was very much appreciated. I also appreciated the great office communication about my appointment and the easy payment option. I will definitely use True Plumbing again!!

Joel was great! I booked a tankless water heater flush online easily, and he arrived early, worked quickly and quietly, and even showed me what he’d done if I needed to do it myself in the future (I probably won’t, since this was such a good deal, but it’s nice to know!). I would absolutely use True Plumbing again.

My plumbing service experience with True Plumbing technicians has been very positive. Donn was the first to come out to provide a bid for my pipe re-route. He was knowledgeable, kind, and confident in providing a good solution. Delfino visited for a follow up to answer my questions and was professional and personable. This confirmed my decision to go with Donn to get this job done for my house. This morning, Donn and his assistant Roberto arrived in the morning and completed the work sooner than I had expected. I am pleased that this process wasn’t as “painful” and difficult as one might expect. We did a full remodel of the whole house, including a completely new water supply system using Pex, redoing all bathroom drainage and moving around fixtures, doing a bunch of gas supply work, setting up a new laundry room, etc. True Plumbing exceeded our expectations in every respect. Their quote (which they did not exceed) was very competitive and the quality of work was top-notch. Vincent is one of the most reliable, punctual, and capable plumbers we’ve worked with. He’s enormously helpful and knowledgeable, and he communicates clearly and regularly, often going above and beyond what’s required. He worked hard to keep the whole project on track and we learned a lot from him along the way. The guys that helped him were also terrific. All in all, this was the smoothest plumbing experience we could have hoped for.

Roberto went out of his way to provide excellent service when flushing my water heater. He took extra steps to be certain that there weren’t any leaks. It didn’t hurt that he was simply a very nice and polite person. Great hire True Plumbing!

I want to give the staff at True Plumbing my highest compliment. This morning i realized after trying to take out washer hoses that they were old and corroded i went to google & found True Plumbing. I called & their customer service was very nice & helpful & she was able to schedule me in today. I got a text from their teck Adolfo before he got to my house, he was very respectful & polite & explained everything he was going to do. He even helped me take washer out to living room from laundry room. He explained wich one was hot & cold after he finished. Would definitely recommend Adolfo & True Plumbing.
