We had a toilet drain issue and called true plumbing. The technician was kind of enough to explain that they didn’t handle drain/sewers line issues. He recommended another company and patiently explained my options. He didn’t charge me for the visit and advice. I have found working with true plumbing over the years they are always honest and reliable.

Speedy fix. They did great finding the parts were still u def warranty on the hot water heater and comped a tuneup for us. Very helpful and fast.

My kitchen sink had a really deep clog, and it was getting frustrating because I couldn't fix it myself. So, I got in touch with Michael from True Plumbing, and he was prompt, courteous and extremely fair with what he charged me. He fixed the issue within twenty minutes and was incredibly professional and polite which I appreciated (you don't always get that with plumbers, at least in my experience). I will absolutely contact True Plumbing again the next time I have a plumbing issue. Great experience.

Used True Plumbing several times in the past. Always has friendly, professional, knowledgeable employees that did quality work. A bit on the pricey side but usually worth it. Shame on me for being in a hurry to run off for business travel and not paying close attention...then ending up paying over $600 to get a leaky kitchen sink drain basket replaced. Less than $20 part at home depot and ~1 hour work. General contractor neightbor later told me this should have run $300 at most. ALWAYS second guess their pricing. Ask about material and hourly cost, no way my bill is justified. Never calling again.

Very fast response. Gave me a no nonsense quote of $2100 to install a new high quality water heater. Was out the next day. Our tech Bert is a fine gentleman and a quality tech. He had a friendly attitude and seem to genuinely like his job.

Derek was available to do same day fix! He was friendly and kept me informed throughout the process. I would use True Plumbing again, and will recommend to all my family and friends!

Woke up to a 30-foot high geyser in the middle of my front yard and True Plumbing sent Adolfo within the hour. He spent all day digging out and replacing a landscaping valve, and patiently answering my questions. The price was reasonable and the work done well. Will definitely call them again for the next plumbing issue.

We initially contacted True Plumbing for a mystery leak in our pantry. Donn showed up almost immediately after contacting the office - having finished a job early and went straight to work. We felt so much comfort from the initial meeting, we began to discuss the other plumbing issues we kept running into. Donn finished the first call and then helped us understand the issues and potential solutions. The first impression was so great, we decided to continue working with True by signing up for a repipe and water conditioning system. Both items were always put off due to the expense and not finding a good company - until we met Donn and True Plumbing. We pulled the trigger and the team got to work the next week. Donn and his co-worker Ron were the upmost professionals. Both kept us up to date on the repairs and repiping process. They gave us accurate timelines and daily updates. Our house proved to be a test - as the previous owner had done some temporary repairs - incorrectly. Donn and Ron corrected the piping paths - and were able to be proactive with their continued approach. They were the best. The job was completed on schedule and done to perfection. It was great listening to them go over their work with a fine toothed comb. They were the so professional and considerate during the job and we genuinely enjoyed having them at the house. Repiping is a large investment and we were proud to find True Plumbing to exceed our needs. 10/10. We would highly recommend them.

Derek was so great getting us a brand new toilet, and assembling it. We had a little problem w/ it, but he fixed it right away and went WAY out of his way to solve another issue which was that I forgot to keep the toilet lid from former toilet that we had just bought a month ago which is wooden & no noise when putting seat down. He had already taken it to the dump, but went all the way back to retrieve it, found it and brought it back and even installed it! WOW! Also he was very honest in telling us that we didn't need a new flange yet, saving us an extra couple hundred $. Thank you for all your effort and kindness.

We used True Plumbing for a new bathtub installation. The project was broken out int two phases:
Phase 1 - relocating the pipes
Phase 2 - installing the actual bathtub

Phase 1 was completed without issue, and the team told use they would be back to complete phase 2 with 4 people to accommodate the size of our large tub.

Phase 2 was schedule for 8am, 8/12/22, and only 1 person arrived on site. They said due to the office miscommunication and scheduling error, the would not be able to complete the agreed upon work and offered no commitment for rescheduling, informing us we needed to call the main office.

We called the main office and respectfully expressed the urgency of our situation: this installation needs to be prioritized as I am 8+ months pregnant, we are installing this *so* that I can use the tub for a water birth at home, the baby can come anytime, not to mention it's extremely frustrating walking around a giant tub to pee in the night 5x everyday. Days delay due to error is acceptable, a week is not.

They said they understood the urgency of our situation and promised to call back within the hour.

By 2pm no one had called us back. Upon follow-up they confirmed that the best they can do is Thursday the following week.

I am extremely disappointed by:
1) Refusal to take responsibility for their error
2) Lack of urgency in rectifying the issue
3) Lack of empathy for my pregnancy and our extenuating circumstances

Update:

The business reached out to my husband to reschedule the follow-up and was able to rectify the situation on the following Tuesday (formerly Thursday).

We were happy with this accommodation and the final installation was completed without issue.

I have updated this review without the request of the business, which to their credit, is a testament to their commitment to doing the right thing.

I've used True Plumbing for the past 5 years every time I've needed a plumber. They are always on-time, clean-polite, great responsiveness at the front office too. They let you send pictures of your problem, links to videos I made, and then tell me the exact cost before they ever come to fix it. Each time the price turned out to be exactly what they quoted me on the phone. Overall I highly recommend them. They have replaced my water heater, fixed a leaking shower cartridge valve, and also a leaking shower drain. Each time it was affordable and thorough with no flaws in the workmanship or materials. I am a DIY guy but plumbing is something that is always best to hire an expert. True Plumbing staff are definitely experts! Stephen has been my plumber to come out on the last 2 visits. He's pleasant and very knowledgeable and efficient. I would additionally say that if Stephen is the plumber they send to your house, you're in great hands.

Donn and Ron came out to help with a leak we originally thought to be a slab leak. Thankfully they were able to find it was a fridge leak and saved us a huge headache. We really appreciated them, Kyle, and Allison for their honesty and professionalism. Would recommend True Plumbing to anyone in need of plumbing help!

We worked with True Plumbing on two projects. We recently had a leak in our pantry and we were able to get in touch with Donn right away. He came even though it was the end of his day and addressed the leak immediately. He was professional and clear with his work. We even discussed with him our ongoing leak issues and asked for a repipe estimate.

We had been considering a repipe for a while, and with our new comfort and quote we were ready to move forward. Less than a week later we had Donn and now Ron back at our home to address repiping. They quoted us 3-4 days and got it done in 4. Our house had a lot of work done by a handyman that they addressed during the repipe.

All in all they did it on time, on our budget and we’re very friendly and professional. It’s rare I feel comfortable with workers in our home since we have a baby and pup and I felt very comfortable with them and by the time they left they felt like family. Everyone came to say bye :) thank you for making us feel taken care of!

I am extremely disappointed to write this review and even more disappointed to end a decade-long loyalty to True Plumbing. They changed ownership in November 2023; this was my first time calling them since the change. It is a stark contrast to what they once were--reliable, fair, exemplary. I recommended them to every friend and neighbor who asked for a plumbing reference (and even those who didn't ask). I was a huge fan!

We had a dripping shower head. The tech came out and diagnosed it as needing a shower valve cartridge replaced. His quote for service was $831.

This sounded unusual and extreme. Upon further investigation, I found that the Delta shower valve cartridge (pre-2006) was available at Lowes for $65.98, it takes approximately 30 minutes to replace the valve cartridge, and the average cost for a plumber to do so is about $300. I would have gladly paid this amount, as I do appreciate the knowledge and experience that goes into learning the trade.

I called the company just to confirm this was truly an accurate quote. I referenced a receipt from approximately 2 years ago from the same company, in which 4 sink cartridges (plus 2 toilet flappers) were replaced. The total cost was $190.

To further sour the experience, I was charged a $75 dispatch fee for the tech to come out for five minutes to diagnose the problem.

This appears to be a win-win for True Plumbing: either a $500+ markup on the service, or a quick and easy $75 for a five-minute visit.

I am beyond disappointed.

Had some work done on the water heater with True Plumbing. Good quality work, solves our concerns, charged a fair price. Highly recommend.

We had a leaky faucet and really low water pressure in our shower. I was able to get an appointment right away. Bert was on time and able to diagnose the problem and fix it right away. He was very easy to work with and knowledgeable. This is a very efficient and honest company. I will definitely use this company for all my plumbing needs!

Donn Gatchalian from True Plumbing came out to fix a plumbing leak. He arrived early and was very knowledgable and answered all questions. Donn did great job! I highly recommend True Plumbing.

Regular maintenance. They flushed out our tankless water heater, which they had installed a year ago. Reliable, on time and cleaned up perfectly. Very professional and pleasant. Highly recommended.
