Intake and Estimation.
When you call one of the "big brand" plumbers, you speak to a dispatcher or a call center representative that refuses to give you details or an estimate. By contrast, Sarfraz was generous with his time on the phone, spending 30 minutes explaining the whole process clearly and offering a price quote. His pricing was very transparent and fair. Certain things would cost more if needed, but he was clear up-front about those potential add-ons, and they were reasonable.

Work quality.
Sarfraz was not in a rush - his priority was to do a good job. Our old water heater was jammed into a closet and twisted in order to reach the old gas valve, making the controls hard to reach. There was no bracing from the back. The water valves were old-fashioned and not easy to use or replace. Sarfraz brought everything up to "code" that I wished brought up to code. When he was done, he went the extra mile with cleanup, which some plumbers do very poorly.

Price.
All plumbers are somewhat expensive, but Sarfraz's pricing is much better and more transparent than the big brands. With him, there aren't twenty layers of managers and Google Ads to be paid for, and you know the quality of the person that will actually do the work.

We needed a plumber to replace our shower faucet temperature regulating cartridge, replace two bathroom sink drains with pop-up drain stoppers, and replace our kitchen garbage disposal. Safran did this work in a timely (he fit us into his busy schedule) and professional manner at a reasonable cost. He had to come back to tighten some plumbing joints that had loosened since installation. This was covered by his 12-month warrantee on his work, and everything has worked to our satisfaction since. We would hire him for future plumbing jobs.

Sarfaraz helped me in fixing my water heater and quickly replaced the damaged gas control value and chamber sensor. He also did quick maintenance of the unit and shared some useful tips along the way . He did quality work and his estimates were much more reasonable than other vendors. I highly recommend him for any plumbing related work.

Durrani Plumbing helped take care of a leaking water heater. From the late night call discussing the issue to the prompt appointment the next morning. He was able to locate a non standard height water heater and replace the existing one without an issue. He also updated the setup to make sure everything was within code and ran leak tests before signing off. He was very professional and definitely knows his stuff. I would highly recommend him to friends and family and would call him again for any plumbing needs in the future.

We had some issues with our kitchen sink drain and a mysterious leak near the side of our house. Sarfraz came out and went down into the crawl space under our house and found all the issues. He fixed two leaking drain pipes and also fixed our bent dryer vent duct while he was down there! He also replaced two outside hose faucets and replaced our house water shut-off valve, since those were all very old and not completely shutting off. Throughout the whole process, he took photos of the issues he found and explained what was wrong and how the issues could be fixed. His pricing is very reasonable and I really appreciate that when you call his phone number you are talking to someone who can take action right away. You aren't talking to a dispatcher at a large, national corporation, who then routes you to a manager and finally you get scheduled for someone to come out in 5 days... With Durrani Plumbing you are working with a smaller business that can respond locally and quickly. I highly recommend this business!

It's been fifteen years since we were living in our home and all was good until one day our water heater shut down and we realized there was no hot water. We searched on Yelp and found out about Durrani plumbing services. We contacted them and they were very responsive and quick in their service. The water heater was fixed and Sarfaraz who fixed it, told us to watch and let them know if there were any further issues. When one thing got fixed then our washbasin tap got rusted and got stuck which we tried to fix in house but the rusting was so hard that we again called for help. Sarfaraz was very helpful he came and fixed the taps for both the bathrooms. This he did in two days and it was raining heavy and took time to remove the rusted pipes. The next day when he came to fix another tap, I shared about a leakage. He looked at it and figured there's a new pipe and fixture needed at the bottom of the basin. He went to the store brought the material and fixed it. Very hard working, great quality in service and reasonable value too. He is now our go to person for plumbing related support. He is very knowledgeable in his field and often gives good advice as preventative measures. I highly recommend their services.

We called a few other plumbing companies before deciding to go with Durrani Plumbing to replace our water heater. What impressed us was that, unlike all other companies, he made valuable suggestions for what we should do before he could come the next day, which ended up saving us a LOT of trouble thanks to the tips he offered. Once here, he was very clear on what needed to be done and very upfront about what additional costs we faced given the age of both the water heater and the installation, but these additional costs were perfectly reasonable and fair. Mr. Durrani did a great job installing the water heater and a recirculation pump, and we were impressed by his attention to detail and careful workmanship. Feel free to ask him for before/after pictures of his work and you'll see the difference, way beyond a new water heater! Finally, the total cost for the water heater, installing it plus the recirculation pump and other details ended up costing LESS than what other companies quoted us just for the labor, NOT including the water heater! In sum, highly recommended!

This is long overdue, but I had a great experience with Durrani. He was very clear and transparent about all the options, work, and costs. He was accommodating in using the parts I wanted to buy and use. Almost every other place bundled everything together in one huge quote. I’m sure it depends on the job, but the amount of time he spent explaining everything and offering customization to our needs was awesome. There is a minimum level of work required by code, and a bunch of other stuff that is helpful but optional, and every case is different, so having someone who can tailor the job to the customer’s needs and preferences is awesome

I am so happy that I meet Sarfraz. The water was gushing out and I had to shut off the whole house water. He comes right over, knowing it's an emergency, even it's Sat. Found the easiest way to fix it, and charge me his normal price... which is honestly below market rate. I saved his number in my contact... definitely recommending his for any plumbing job you have.
