I called Peace Door Service and Daniel, the owner, answered. I was met with a lot of courtesy and he even offered to show up the same day. We settled for the next day for he and his son to come check things out. I put a lot of value in the way businesses treat their prospective customers. It means a lot to me when I am allowed to ask all the questions I have and am given the answers in a respectful and informative manner. This is exactly the type of customer service Daniel and his son provided. Our old Chamberlain garage door opener began acting inconsistent with all of the remotes, including the one built into our van. However, it would work without issue using hard wired button. This told me that the wireless circuit board was probably toast. When Daniel showed up, he confirmed this was likely the issue. He acknowledged that I could save some money by trying to find a replacement circuit board. However, the garage door opener was pushing 20 years old and was discontinued (which I had confirmed via an internet search prior). Finding a replacement board wasn't guaranteed and would potentially only buy me a few extra years. My wife and I were already over the intermittent behavior of the opener. Daniel quoted me me what seemed like a very fair price for a new opener (which came with two remotes and a new wall button), a tune up of our door and spring, and a replacement keypad since our old one wouldn't work with the new opener (old purple learn button vs new white learn button). He was ready to do it right then and there. I'll tell you, I didn't bother getting a second opinion. The way he and his son addressed me and answered my questions was enough for me to gladly give them my business. It'll be about a month since our install and service and we've had no issues. He even followed up to make sure things were operating smoothly. As a homeowner, knowing I have businesses I can trust for various home services helps me sleep at night. I've officially added Peace Door Service to my collection.
Great service, great people! As it happened, my garage door was damaged by an errant driver and because it (the door, not the driver) was 18 years old, it couldn't be repaired. Issac (Taylor) fully explained the situation and it was decided a new door was in order. So it was ordered. The door was locally sourced and installed two days later. Alex Ocegueda did the installation. He was efficient and thorough in his task. I highly recommend this company and its employees to do a quality and satisfactory repair or installation of a garage door.
Bob’s Garage Door came out quickly and replaced both springs for a great price. The work was done fast, and everything looks and works great. I’d definitely recommend them!
Noticed a broken spring this morning and filled out an online request for service. I got a call in less than an hour and a tech 15 minutes later. While it was an unexpected expense, he gave upgrade options and didn’t pressure me into them. He took the time to explain each step and what his recommendation was. Very happy with the service, would totally recommend them for anyone needing garage door work done.
