I always go to VAR for my heating and AC needs. They call me at the beginning of the season for maintenance 2x /year. I appreciate the reminder. The technician Matt Bilodeau is awesome! He is knowledgeable and did the maintenance quickly. I have old units and Matt told me about a rebate program that is currently being offered. We chose to do some repairs in the meantime and are making plans to replace them in the future. He is very professional, trustworthy and personable. I highly recommend!

Eddie was great, he explained what he was going to be doing and if anything was wrong he would let us know. He finished the maintenance work on the two units in half the time the last company did. We decided to do a replacement on both units he had the parts with him and did the repairs at the same time. Very happy with him and his company. When we need service again we will be asking for Eddie.

This review is for Eddie Montoya an HVAC Technician with Valley Air Conditioning and Repair who was dispatched to my home on September 16, 2024.

Eddie is a technician that has the ability to communicate with customers with an increased level of detail to assure the customer’s satisfaction. Eddie had the special ability to tackle difficult challenges that he was presented with at my home, while at the same time delivering essential customer service to me and my family.

This company was able to assist me with servicing an old floor furnace in the tower after 2 other HVAC companies I called refused to help because it’s an old unit. The technician was friendly, timely, and the window of time to meet them for the appointment was a reasonable hour as opposed to some that say they’ll be there within a 4 hour time slot. Ultimately, we realized we needed to have PG & E come out before they could work on it, but they didn’t even charge me. I was impressed with their customer service!

Clayton came out this morning. Very professional very polite and helped me with everything. Good information from him and great advice on what my opinions are. Great customer service, Great company! Thank you!

The General Manager Simon reached out to us early this morning to remedy the issue listed below. He provided a service window and was punctual as always. Simon also repaired our unit last winter a few months before upgrading to a new system. Our other technicians who come out for service always provide a genuinely great experience. If the office escalated our issue properly in the first place I’m sure Simon or another technician from the team would have gladly come out. I’m sure our experience would have been different from the start. Thank you Simon.

Upgraded our hvac unit in our home as recommended by valley air a few months back to a brand new heat pump as recommended by our technician. Less than 2 weeks back a technician came out and quickly looked at the unit and stated all was well. With the cold weather we finally were making the switch to heat on 10/30 and the unit does not produce any heat. Anne in reception stated about 5 days out was the best they could do, and they generally reserve spots for issues on new units, but they had nothing open. The lack of urgency from the company to send out a tech to fix our issue on a brand new unit that should work is upsetting. Especially after spending 20k with them over the last 12-months. Upsetting after being a customer with them for 10 years. My kids are cold! Please do better.

Murphy's Law says, "Of course, your air conditioner is going to go out on the first hottest days of the day of the summer."
We contacted several air conditioner service providers in the local area. Valley Air was our second quote, as we were not fully confident in the first quote. We contacted Valley Air on a Thursday and they gave us a time frame of 8 am-12 pm that following Saturday. Eddie arrived at our home at 9 am and was ready to assess our situation. Eddie provided us with amazing customer service. He did a thorough assessment of our situation, and fully explained what was going on in terms we could understand. He gave us honest options, without scare tactics. He did not play on our desperation for comfort to price gouge us. The price Eddie quoted on other suggested services were in line with what we had researched online, which gave us more confidence in Valley Air, and we will certainly be utilizing this company for all of our future air conditioning and heating needs.

Had the tech come out and diagnose the issue with our ac unit and charged 99 for that and plus wanted 700!! More to fix the problem witch ending up costing us only $40 after we watched tutorial videos on YouTube these people are insane!

service tech Joseph was kind, explained everything to us. I will recommend VAR to everyone I know. We also signed up for 2x yearly maint.

I highly recomment this company. 5+ stars. They replaced my 22 year old split AC/heating system with a Trane heat pump. The entire process went smoothly from the time I was quoted to the day the new system was up and running. My thanks to Conly, Simon, Veronica, Holly, and especially to Gilbert and Andres who labored in the heat to install the system. During the 2-day install Gilbert kept me updated on their progress and they left my house and yard spotless.
Everyone in the company was professional and very personable.

We would definitely recommend Valley Air Conditioning & Repair to our family and friends. The 100° for 30 days is a no-no in Fresno. Thank you so much for the wonderful job that everyone was involved, from the paperwork to the install. The 0% interest on the loan for the New A/C made it easier on us. I like the fact that we're able to control the A/C from our phone. Thank you everyone.

It was Saturday and degrees inside our house when ColeC arrived. Not even 30 minutes later, he had diagnosed the issue, fixed it, and was out the door with the temperature on its way down. He was so friendly, too. Thank you VAC for having a great service staff!

VAR is the ONLY company we will use for our a/c, heat and plumbing needs. We use them for our commercial buildings as well as personal homes. The owners and staff are friendly and eager to help. They are always professional, incredibly fast in getting us on the schedule, get the job done right and with a fair price! No project has ever been too big or too small. I HIGHLY recommend VAR!!

Eddie Montoya, VAR tech has been servicing my VAR installed A/C unit for a several years now. He's such a pleasant tech each & everytime. Gets his job done, takes the time to answer questions and as he said today, he doesn't like to waste the remaining water in his hose, so he put it on my plants when he got off the roof. A real blessing for this senior citizen.

This post is from Saturday and I could of had him come out that evening to check why it was still blowing hot air. I chose to have him come out Sunday morning when it wasn't so hot since I really appreciate them for doing this.

We have had nothing but great service with Valley Air Conditioning and Repair. Recently Cole (cannot remember last name) came out to help us with thermostat issues and regular maintenance. He was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We thought we had the thermostat fixed but it failed again after he left. Eddie Montoia came out the next day (Saturday) and addressed the issues with patience and professionalism and all ended well. We could not be happier with our experience with VAR.

I give this company a 5star rating because my unit went out during a storm, the insurance company didn't fix it and had me waiting for months for a reason. After contacting VAR, it only took 2days for them to put a new unit on my home. They were very timely and professional the whole time of the installment. I thank God for them they are heaven sent.🤗🤩😇

Valley Air has a long-standing reputation and provided a straightforward quote for a Trane system. Their team was professional and timely in communication. While we ended up moving in a different direction, we appreciated their time and effort during the quote process.

My A/C went out this week during a heat wave and I found Valley air online. After reading the good reviews I decided to call. I got service the same day and the issue was resolved. Shout out to Technician Eddie thank you again. Not only was Eddie professional but also informative on preventative measures to keep my A/C in top condition. If I ever need service again I will definitely use call Valley air conditioning.
