Jose was a true professional and efficiently and effectively resolved our problem during his service. We would recommend him to anyone without any hesitation. He explained the issues and resolution and which was very helpful.

Edwin scheduled several appointments and never showed up or call before the appointment time. The las scheduled appointment was May 29, 2025. I never received the call that he was coming. The first time he went to check on the AC he did not do anything but simply check the thermostat . The issues that were reported motor blower leaking oil, temperature split, amp test shows pulling excessive energy, mold in evaporation coil, etc. Edwin made no effort in analyzing the repairs that are necessary . I had an inspection done by a very reputable company and gave Edwin a copy of same. Edwin never returned to service the claim I originally made May8, 2025. It has been almost a month and Sears Home Services has not showed up for the rescheduled appointments. Very poor job

I paid $129 for nothing because I had to. The technician seemed confused by my washer dryer. I will NEVER be using your services again.

First off, the technician left without fixing the washer. Second, when we went out to grab him to give it a look again he identified that a wire was broken. This wire was broken by our first technician weeks ago when he was looking to see what the initial problem was. Instead of then trying to mend the wire the technician said you can try and fix it, but I have to leave because I have another call. This has been three weeks without service of our washer dryer. This company has completely gone downhill and has somehow figured out to make AI less efficient in their structuring.

The Sears technician (Andrew T) was extremely rude and unprofessional. He was the third technician sent by Sears, and this was the fifth visit by a technician to fix the same issue (freezer not freezing/refrigerator literally being hot). Prior to his visit, a control board had to be ordered twice, because the first board delivered by Sears was faulty. We had to throw away much food and deal with a hot refrigerator for over a week. And after all that ordeal, technician Andrew T came to replace the control board for the 2nd time. He came late, then rudely told me to not bother him and let him do his job (I was not bothering him at all); he was rushing through the job so recklessly, a few times he dropped screws on the floor. I had to pick them up from under the table. It got so bad, I had to ask him not to rush and take his time. Instead, Andrew rudely said "I am not rushing, you are just making me nervous." I had to explain to him that I was not making him nervous, I was just standing nearby to keep the refrigerator door open for HIM!, and to pick up screws dropped by him. He pulled out the refrigerator without getting my consent (which technicians have to do), then in the end pushed the refrigerator back to a tilted position. Then he rushed out without saying anything. I had to adjust the position of the fridge by pushing it, which exasperated my back pain. Overall, horrible experience.

Extremely disappointed with Sears Home Services — misleading diagnosis, inflated pricing, and zero accountability.

We scheduled a Sears technician to diagnose a refrigerator issue at our rental property. The technician quickly determined that the problem was a faulty control board and said that replacing it would solve everything. Based on that professional assessment, we ordered the part ourselves (a simple plug-and-play replacement). Unfortunately, the refrigerator still didn’t work — exact same problem, no improvement.

That means the diagnosis was wrong from the start. We paid for expert evaluation and got incorrect advice that solved nothing. If we had gone through Sears for the full repair, we would have paid three times the price for the same part plus a large installation fee — and still ended up with a broken refrigerator.

When we tried to contact Sears afterward, every email address we found for their service center or customer support bounced back. There was literally no valid way to reach a human. Ironically, the only thing that worked was the automated text asking for feedback — so we left a review describing what happened.

The public response that appeared under that review was labeled “Response from the owner,” asking us to call a number for resolution. We did — only to be told that the reply was auto-generated and that there was nothing anyone could do because we didn’t pay them for the repair. In other words, had we spent hundreds more for their misdiagnosed fix, they might have come back, but because we avoided wasting money, we’re simply out of luck.

In the end, we had to buy a new refrigerator and will be pursuing a dispute through our credit card company. The whole experience was frustrating and disappointing: an inaccurate diagnosis, no accountability, and an automated “sorry” message pretending to be customer care.

I’m sharing this so others are aware — don’t rely on Sears for appliance diagnosis or repair. The service looks professional on the surface, but when things go wrong, there’s no real support behind it.

Extremely disappointed with Sears Home Services. After our service call for a refrigerator issue at our rental property, the technician diagnosed a faulty control board. We replaced that part based entirely on Sears’ recommendation — and the refrigerator still doesn’t work. Same issue, no improvement.

This was a clear misdiagnosis that’s caused real hardship for our tenants. We paid for professional expertise and got an incorrect assessment that solved nothing. Had we gone ahead with the full repair through Sears, it would have been an expensive, pointless fix.

To make things worse, every customer service and service-center email we’ve found bounces back — there seems to be no way to reach anyone for accountability or a refund.

Ironically, the last text we got from Sears asked us to review “how things went.” So here it is — this is how it went.

Sears should stand by their work and refund customers when their technicians get it wrong. Really disappointing experience.

    UPDATE:

Update: After posting this review, I received a response from “the owner” on Google asking me to call a number for resolution. When I did, I was told that the reply was automatically generated — not a real outreach from anyone at Sears.

We spoke with an actual representative afterward, and they confirmed there’s nothing they can do because we didn’t pay Sears to perform the full repair. The problem with that logic is simple: their technician’s diagnosis was wrong from the start. They identified the control board as the issue — it wasn’t. We replaced it ourselves (a straightforward plug-in part) and the refrigerator still didn’t work. So had we paid Sears’ triple markup for the part plus their large labor fee, we’d just be out even more money for the same broken fridge.

We ended up replacing the refrigerator entirely. It’s frustrating that Sears offers no accountability when their “expert” assessment is incorrect. The auto-reply to my review makes it seem like they care, but in reality, no one follows up or takes ownership.

At this point, we’ll be pursuing this through our credit card company. Posting this update so others know what to expect — automated apologies, no actual help, and costly misdiagnoses.

Jose my service tech was great! He was able to fix the issue, and I only had to pay the diagnostic fee. They scheduled the service tech to come out next day. All in all it was a smooth process, for an appliance I’ve had since 2015.

I am posting 5 days after Andrey came. I loved Andrey but I have been waiting 2 different days for a tech to finish the work that has to be done -- installation of a part in the washer. I had 2 appts (2 days sitting around on 12/31 and 1/2, and no one came..and I can get no live person on phone to help me. Just AI messages....I am very frustrated. Maybe a 1 star review will get someone's attention. Andrey still gets 5 stars: Andrey was extremely knowledgable about my old Kenmore washer and dryer and quickly diagnosed the problems I was having with each. Appreciate his clarity and openness about what needed to be done and was quick and efficient in completing repair on my dryer and ordering parts for my washer.
Thanks to Andrey. Where are all your coworkers?

Amazing that the night before I could make an appointment and 1030am the next day a technician was at my house. Courteous and knowledgeable he was able to diagnose my problem and give the appropriate advice. Worth the call out fee

My appointment was between 8-12, I received a call at 12:10pm he would be here in 15 minutes. He arrived shortly after 1. The spring and wire are hanging out of the piece that was replaced.

Stan was great—very accurate, knowledgeable, and thorough. He stayed extra time to give me helpful tips on managing the air gap and ensuring everything works optimally. I’m very grateful for his support during this time of tremendous upheaval. A truly excellent technician.

The service guy was scheduled between 1-5 he didn’t show up to almost 5:30. When Johnny showed up he was very professional and very nice which made him late not matter so much. Sears is lucky to have him.
ADDED :HAD A LEAK THE NEXT DAY SERVICE WAS TIME BETWEEN 1-5 NO SHOW when you try to reach someone it’s all automated.

Ilia came to repair my Bosch dishwasher and his service was superior. He was very knowledgeable and his repair price was excellent. Other companies had given me very high priced repair quotes but Ilia’s price was wonderful. I am so glad I found A11 Appliance Repair Company and plan to use their company in the future.

My 15-year-old refrigerator started making strange noises. Instead of pushing for a replacement, the A11 technician suggested a simple refrigerator repair that was cost-effective and extended its life. Honest service you can trust!
