The service was great! The young man was kind and friendly and helpful, but the cost was shocking. Lowe's has a sale on new dryers right now and add $100 to what the repair would be, I can get a new dryer. At least I know what wrong with it and hopefully YouTube has a video on how to take it apart so we can get the part number.

We live in Pacific Palisades and our Miele dishwasher stopped draining. I expected a long wait, but Mega Pro came the same day. The guy was polite, wore shoe covers, and had the part in his van. Luxury service with a local touch.

I just had the most unprofessional person NOT help me when I called Mega Pro Appliance Repair. I could barely hear or understand her sleepy voice and she seemed very out of sorts. She offered me an appointment for service today, but only if I paid the service fee upfront. I have never paid for a service before the service was rendered. I told her I was happy to pay after service, but I wasn't sending money to someone I don't know prior to receiving services. She argued that she's never had someone question paying in advance. As she continued to argue, I ended the call. The entire experience was unprofessional, shady and they will not get my business.

Dryer went out with no warning. So I picked a company that actually had a person answer the phone and not AI. They came the same day and the nice young man fix the dryer and made sure all the lint was vacuum out of the workings. They save me the expense of a new unit. I'll use them again for my next break down.

I am writing this review not to condemn Mega Pro, but to help anyone else faced with the decision I made! My 12 year LG Refrigerator lost its compressor, and trying to save some money, I called Mega Pro for repair. A young man, Alexandr, arrived on schedule at 9:30 am, and left my house about 7:30 pm. I'm no expert, but it seemed like a very long time to replace a compressor! The refrigerator worked for about two months at possibly 80% of it's original quality. Temperature's inside the Frig and Ice box were average, but gradually began to erode. I called Mega Pro, Alexandr showed up at 5:30 in the afternoon, and didn't leave until after 9:00 pm. As I was asked to do, I waited a day for the Frig to "settle" and it did, worse than before! I'm a patient soul, and I don't mind young Technicians learning the ropes, but in my case, it failed! So for you folks facing the same decision, here are the facts: Original Repair Quote $1400.00, which I thought was high, Two Days off work for repair, Two rounds of Food thrown out, ($300 worth), a generous Tip I left young Alexandr, and I am now out $1800.00 on a repair that didn't work! Cost of a new Frig, $1800 to $2200.00. My suggestion, buy a new Frig, forget the repair!
