We replaced a 13 year old tankless water heater. The estimator from Mauerhan Plumbing gave us an estimate of the cost and recommended a different model. Installation was very timely, the men did a great job. We were very pleased. We will use Mauerhan for any plumbing jobs in the future. The office staff is the best. Mauerhan Plumbing is the absolute BEST! I've used them before at my house in Burbank for large projects (adding a larger gas meter for a pool heater) and smaller projects (repairing a Toto toilet that other plumbing companies said couldn't be fixed). Mauerhan is the real deal. I chose them because they do plumbing maintenance on very large apartment buildings in Glendale and came highly recommended by them. Mauerhan is very professional and courteous when scheduling on the phone. They know what they're doing and I trust them 100%.

The gas company changed something on our meter, discovered a gas leak and shut our gas off. Mauerhan Plumbing was booked until Monday (this was Thurs afternoon). We had no heat and no hot water. We were put on hold and when they returned, they had one person that could come out on Friday. We were extremely pleased with the service received. The technician was very respectful of our house, our comfort (hot water and warm house), and our pocketbook. Knowing he needed help with the house heater (located in a cramped hard to reach area), he fixed all our minor leaks and capped off the house heater, saving it for after the weekend to repair. The gas company came out that same day and turned our gas on. We had hot water for showers, our cook stove worked and we wore sweatshirts until the heater was fixed. All in all it was a good experience. Mauerhan staff was friendly, very professional, and considerate of us, our property and our pocketbook. We will recommend and use Mauerhan in the future.

We had a GREAT experience with Mauerhan Plumbing today. We were a first time customer. Richard and his partner Marco were great. My parents are in their 80’s and both the guys were so very patient and courteous to them. They explained everything they were doing and gave them options for the leak that they fixed. I had a nasty kitchen sink clog, and live in an old loft building with tricky (and again, OLD) stacked pipes. The Mauerhan guys came out quickly and snaked the drain--and there were issues close to my sink and down below in the pipes beneath my place. They were polite, explained everything in an accessible way, and we're really respectful of my property. Big recommend!

The company was able to send a plumber over the same day I called to have an instant hot water heater installed under our kitchen sink. The plumber did a good job and the person handling calls and questions kind and helpful.

Talk about an emergency! One day before an open house for the sale of my home, the refrigerator connection decides to spring a leak and flood the kitchen! One quick call to Mauerhan and everything was solved within the hour. While I had a bit of a mess to clean up, I couldn't have done it without their swift and expert help. Definitely recommend them to the new owner, and to you!

Our water heater wasn't working so I called them and they told me they would charge a service fee of $175 to come out and look at it. I thought that was a bit steep but the lady I spoke to seemed nice at first and said that if a part is needed or if they need to fix it then it would be towards the cost of a flat fee. I was confused so I asked her again, Im like ok so if they cant fix it, its just $175 but if I need a part then that 175 goes towards the cost to fix? She confirmed. Anyway I had to wait 2 days to get someone out and when they did come, they could not fix the water heater. But then they had the audacity to hit me with a $511 bill. They charged me $511 to basically come to my house and tell me that they can fix the problem BUT I have to order a part and pay them another $1200 to have them come back next week and install the part. First of all, to charge someone $511 and not fix any issues is robbery. They know you are desperate because you need hot water and they can see I have two young kids who clearly need to take baths and that I would pay anything. Needless to say I called another plumber and he said that was the most ridiculous thing he has ever heard and that it should not cost that much to fix the water heater as the water heater alone isn't even worth that much. Point being, RUN from this company as fast as you can!! This is a form of price gouging and they should be reported!
