Maurhan are the only plumbers my building uses, and for good reason! They are always quick, courteous, and knowledgeable. Their customer service on the phone is excellent, and they have always scheduled appointments within a week of me calling, sometimes even same day! The plumbers who came to my apartment worked quickly to replace a broken food disposal with brand new piping, and they even threw in a new food trap for the drain! I'm looking forward to no longer worrying about the contents of my disposal coming back to haunt me, thanks to Mauerhan!

We had a new water heater installed at our home. Two (2) plumbers arrived right on time and began their work. The water heater and related materials were top quality, and installed in an impressive and professional manner. The plumbers were very experienced and it was obvious they were confident, capable, and committed to doing the best job possible. They were pleasant to deal with and were more than happy to answer any question my wife and I had.

We have owned our home for 38 years and have had a variety of plumbers perform work projects over this period of time. By far, these recent plumbers were the best ever! I needed help with pairing my Moen water detection device with the Moen phone app. This is not a job that a plumber regularly comes out to the house to do, since the water leak detection device has already been installed, and I just needed help with working the app. However, in speaking with Shannon over the phone today, she suggested I lower the sensitivity bar on the app and led me through the steps. Hopefully this will stop the false alarms that I'm getting and cease the shutting off of the water supply to my house. In addition to the over the phone help, she sent me an email explaining exactly the steps we had taken. Shannon was very kind to do this for me, as no service was required and, therefore, no payment was involved.Thank you Shannon, and kudos to Mauerhan for hiring her!

The plumbers were very knowledgeable about ordering the appropriate faucet sets for a three hole bath and shower set to fit existing valves. With their expert advice, we can to avoid replacing the tile and valves in the shower.

I contacted Mauerhan for a second opinion on my 9-year-old tankless water heater after it displayed an ignition failure error code and stopped producing hot water. Another plumber had already identified the issue as a leaking heat exchanger and showed me visible water leaking inside the unit.

When I called Mauerhan, I clearly explained on the phone that the unit had an error code and was leaking. When their technician arrived, I was not home, but I spoke to him by phone and told him I already knew the problem and that the leak was obvious. He did not attempt any repair and left, stating that the unit was too old, parts were unavailable, and the entire unit would need to be replaced. He said I would receive a quote for a new unit.

I never received a quote or any follow-up. I was left without hot water and had to find my own solution. I contacted a water heater supplier, got a list of installers, and had a brand-new unit installed the very next day by another company.

A week later, I received a bill from Mauerhan for $540 for “cleaning the unit.” This makes absolutely no sense—why clean a unit that is leaking, cannot be fixed, and was never repaired?

When I called to dispute the charge, the manager, James, told me it was my fault for calling them even though another plumber had already identified the leak, and then threatened to put a lien on my house if I didn’t pay.

This experience was extremely unprofessional: no repair, no quote, no follow-up, an unjustified bill, and a threat instead of customer service. I would strongly advise others to be cautious before using Mauerhan.

I'm a client of Mauerhan Plumbing and have used them for the past 38 years. They do such good work that I can't imagine using any other plumbing company. Today 2/26/26 Devin Culver came over to do a whole house rooting job. He's amazing at what he does, is extremely pleasant and answered all my questions without laughing at any of my silly questions. He's a champ! I highly recommend Mauerhan Plumbing and if you're lucky enough to have Devin Culver as your tech, well life will be grand!

For nearly a decade I've been relying on the experts at Mauerhan Plumbing and they are always my first call. They are simply the best. Excellent service, easy to schedule, great prices, knowledgable, personable and friendly, punctual and helpful with any kind of home improvement project. We noticed a leak in our basement that we assumed was due to a broken pipe behind the wall, based on our detailed google diagnosis. We thought we had even identified the faucet, so we stopped using it and called a plumber. Elias showed up promptly and found the problem within about 5 minutes. It turned out to be the HVAC leaking in the water closet. I was thankful that elias was straightforward and let us know that although he had recently obtained his HVAC certification, he wasn't entirely confident in working on it but could suggest someone else. He did mention that the leaky HVAC was probably due to the drain pipe going uphill, and since water doesn't flow upwards, it was likely backing up in the system. We asked him to fix the drain pipe and it appears to have remedied the issue. There hasn't been any more leakage for almost a week. The inspector should have flagged this problem when we bought the house! Regardless, elias's pricing was fair and he was truthful and professional. He will definitely be our first call for any future plumbing needs.

I reached out to Raymond one night concerning a gas leak which had led to our meter being red-tagged and shut off by the gas company. The following morning, Elias was at my home. He was a highly professional individual with an excellent attitude and strong work ethics. Elias embodied what is often referred to as 'high speed' in the plumbing industry - a term that signifies someone who is fast, efficient, and precise in addressing issues. I can confidently say that Elias is a 'high speed' plumber. God bless you and your team! I noticed my summer gas bill had increased significantly, despite not using the heaters. This led to the discovery of two faulty gas valves in my old house in Glendale. Raymond tested the gas line, identifying the two leaking valves. Following this, Elias replaced the valves and both of them retested the line to ensure there were no additional leaks. The service was quick, professional, and comprehensive. Their exceptional knowledge and follow-through were evident in their work. In terms of skill and speed, the team is aptly named - they are indeed 'high speed.' I give them a strong recommendation and two thumbs up! Later, I needed assistance lighting the wall heater's pilot, connected to the new gas valve installed by the team. They were over at my place promptly and had it lit in a jiffy. I had attempted to light it with my plasma lighter, but it turned out that a regular butane lighter was needed. I am extremely grateful for their help.

The plumbing team in Glendale certainly lived up to their reputation. They arranged the job swiftly and were either punctual or ahead of schedule. Raymond and Elias had to reroute a toilet supply line that was mistakenly set as hot, adjust the sink drain to accommodate a new vanity, and also install said vanity. The quality of their work was outstanding! It was a challenging task as they had to cut into the wall, but they meticulously thought it through and clearly communicated their plans. They showed respect for the property, using shoe covers and tarps to keep everything neat and clean. They demonstrated extensive knowledge in their field. Our liaison at the office kept us updated on the schedule and made sure it best suited our needs. I would highly recommend them!

Raymond answered the phone with utmost professionalism and arrived within the hour to provide a free estimate. From the moment I signed the contract to the restoration of the street and sidewalk, every step was managed with the utmost courtesy and attention to my looming deadline. The team, led by Elias, was punctual, articulate, diligent, and devoid of the usual loafing around often seen at job sites. They arrived in clean uniforms, which were completely covered in dirt by the end of the day due to the extensive work they undertook, always wearing a smile as they updated me on the progress. I was so impressed with their service that I recommended them to my entire family. My mother even hired them to repair her sewer, which had collapsed due to tree roots breaking through her old clay sewer. We had an issue with a sewer line following a recent job. Raymond turned up and pinpointed the problem, then promptly set up a solution. Real Plumbing continues to deliver 5-star service. ********* Real Plumbing fitted our field line several years ago and we've hired them for the mandatory pump outs required for a septic system. During the last pump out, the team overlooked correctly sealing the hatch. I got in touch with Real Plumbing and Raymond and Elias were sent out. They not only properly sealed the hatch but also added a stainless steel ring to facilitate the hatch's removal for the next pump out. The team at Real Plumbing has always been service-oriented and a joy to collaborate with in Glendale.

My toilet was frequently getting blocked and the drainage was almost always slow. Despite numerous attempts to use a plunger and a 3 auger, the issue was not fully resolved. Therefore, I decided to hire a professional plumber instead of buying a longer auger for over $75, not knowing if that was the real problem. Raymond promptly addressed our issue. It turned out, a longer auger was needed. I was given a courtesy discount because the toilet was clean and there wasn't much of a mess to deal with, which was very much appreciated. I would certainly hire this service again. Raymond was professional and friendly. It was a pleasure working with him.
