Awesome experience. Called Sewer Heroes on Christmas Eve, Erik answered right away and said he could come help me with my backyard drains that were backing up due to the rain and he’d be here in 30 minutes. He was here about an hour and fixed our issues quickly. He was kind, respectful, and considerate. Would absolutely recommend him to anyone.

The only plumber in the Burbank area that I will be calling from now on. Erik and Aren showed up to my house in less than an hour after calling them for the emergency we had with the sewer backing up. The drain was cleared and further repairs like pipe lining were done to help keep our pipes in good condition for the future. Their pricing was great and they truly provide a very professional service.

I’m a GC and Erik handles all of our plumbing requests from hydro jetting apartment complexes to freezing water lines to adding new isolation valves in critical areas. He’s great and upfront with pricing and his services. He’s who you want answering the call when you have an emergency or need issues resolved. He’s the go to plumber for a reason

Erik from Sewer Heroes is by far the best plumber in Glendale that Iv found. After calling another company before Sewer Heroes the other company gave up and said they couldn’t fix the clog. Erik came out on a plumbing emergency call to fix our backed up kitchen sink. Amazing 24 hour plumbing service. We have very old pipes that were built up with a bunch of grease. It was highly recommended to us to add a clean out into the wall behind the kitchen for future access and so they can use the hydro jetting machine to deep clean the grease out. Really trust worthy guys and was really happy with their work!

I called Eric on a Friday evening as I had a tenant with a plumbing issue. He offered to meet that same night but was also willing to reschedule. He was responsive, knowledgable, and his prices are very fair. I have used other plumbing services that charge more and won’t even tell me what the problem is. Eric solved the problem same day.

Iv never had a more honest and professional plumber come to my home. Sewer Heroes dealt with our plumbing issue we had with the sewer line. Hydro jetting to clean up the line then doing a pipe liner to fix the problem for good. Every step along the way was explained and professionally executed. They kept my house clean and worked very quickly to get us going again in no time. For the price they charge I’d say the service is unmatched. Mauerhan services is great and the staff is ultra friendly. Known the company fir 35 years and they are the greatest.

Excellent work. They sent Jonathan who was always on-time and very professional. He did excellent work and the owner Bruce Mauerhan came twice to supervise and inspect. Bruce always puts the customer first even if it costs more time and money. This is the third time I have used this company always with excellent results.

I've been working with Mauerhan for probably close to 30 years. They do excellent work. All employees are very professional and polite. Wonderful service. They took out my old water heater and installed a new one. It was a very big job. The employees really work hard.

Mauerhan did a great job for us yesterday clearing a bathtub drain. At 100 years old, our house needs extra care and our tech certainly was careful. The drain pipe apparently has a lot of old calcification build-up, so took extra skill to clear. This was accomplished speedily and professionally and the clean-up afterwards was impeccable. Many thanks, and especially to the office person, Jenelle, who was so kind as to look for a way to work our emergency repair into the busy schedule. Many thanks to all!

Had a great experience with Mauerhan, who installed my alkaline water system. They were very professional and did the job quickly. The system has been working great. I've used Mauerhan several times and it's always been a good experience.

I’ve used Mauerhan plumbing for many years. They have always done high quality work and their fixes stay fixed. They are conscientious and insist on doing their work to code. They also corrected old work by other plumbers that was not done right the first time. They might be a little expensive compared to some other companies but believe me it is worth it.

I was charged $450 for 30 minutes of work. When I asked the dispatcher how much a clogged toilet would be, I was told by the receptionist she didn’t have the prices in front of her, but it was $160 to come over which would be waived after the job.
None of that happened.
The plumber had a sheet with the prices that clearly listed. The $450 price was the lowest level he said they could charge why was I not told that before they came out?

Very dishonest. I can’t recommend.

WARNING!! MAUERHAN EQUALS 'MECHANICS LIEN'!!

We questioned the bill and they got angry.
The labor part was NOT calculated honestly.

Now they are bullying my family and threatening us as well.

Simply put: This may be standard practice for this company, but we refuse to pay an inflated bill.

What happened:
This company installed a homeowner-supplied brand-new HOT WATER HEATER. The appliance works as it should. Problem is with their charges.
Two men showed up at 9:30AM, moved the unit from the foyer to the basement, and installed it. They drove away at 11:30AM.

Now they're asking to be paid for more time than the job actually took. They're asking for more money than they spent on what I already saw as inefficient activity. The attitude was 'How can we stretch out the task?'

When they were ~80% through the job the LeadGuy stated, 'One more hour and we will be done!' To that I sneered, 'Just finish up and leave... Don't tell me it will take you another hour!'

Evidently, he immediately registered my unfriendly attitude, sped up, got it all done in under thirty minutes from that point forward.

Then he presented a bill for $1550.00 for parts & labor. I said, 'NO WAY!' Stating it makes no sense. I told him I'm calling the office. He said, 'Whatever. That's above my paygrade' and drove off. It was 11:30 AM.

I immediately called the office and complained. With zero discussion the office changed the bill to $1408.73.

As stated, the labor part has NOT been calculated honestly. Now they are bullying my family and threatening us as well. Simply put: This may be standard practice for this company, but we refuse to pay an inflated bill.

Two men worked for two hours and they drove away. $280.00 per hour, two hours to do the job. They are now seeking 'two-man-hours' in addition to the two hours they actually spent on the job.

Perhaps their business is slow therefore they're trying to squeeze money out of their customers. I do not know what they are thinking nor do I know of their motivations.

We refuse to pay an inflated bill.

The plumber arrived on time and was very professional. He answered all my questions. Unfortunately he was not able to replace my instant hot faucet because the company Everhot won’t be able to deliver the parts for a couple of months. When the parts are available I will definitely use Mauerhan to install the system. I would definitely recommend them.

Mauerhan Plumbing has been our plumbing company of choice for many years. Recently we moved out of California so we do not have access to them any longer .. HOWEVER, my Husband's mother still lives in California and she has been using them for a few years now, having changed from her previous plumbing company! I would highly recommend Mauerhan Plumbing.

Showed up quickly on short notice for a drain line emergency. Two technicians, German and Greg, were efficient and thorough in working through a difficult situation to clear a clogged main line of invasive root growth. Mauerhan remains my go-to plumber for good reason.

Mauerhan has provided services for our reverse osmosis service for several years. Their plumbers are knowledgeable and do a thorough job changing the filters.

The plumber was punctual, knowledgeable and efficient. He seemed to have experience with older plumbing hardware and configurations, and gave advice for me to follow up to replace old fixtures. The price was higher than I think it should have been, but justified if there are any issues with the work that would be reason for a return visit.

I have the greatest confidence in Mauerhan Plumbing.
Shannon and Nicole run the office with unmatched expertise and I'm always impressed with Juan's plumbing knowledge and thoughtful approach.
James came out to assess a difficult gas line installation and I much appreciated his insight and suggestions.
