My water bill was unusually high, so I contacted the billing department, and they recommended having a professional check for possible leaks. I decided to call USA Leak Detector, and I’m so glad I did. They came out promptly, found the leak quickly, and were incredibly professional throughout the entire process. Because they located the issue so fast, they even gave me a discount, which I really appreciated. Honest, efficient, and reliable service,highly recommend!

I hired USA Leak Detector to find a leak that was wasting 1,100 gallons of water per day. It was not obvious where the leak was because the water was going into a french drain.

I will award a 3.5 star review overall and round-up to 4 stars. I was very pleased this problem was resolved as another company could not find the leak. However, some organizational improvements will significantly enhance the customer experience.

Pros:
* Answered phone on the weekend to organize an initial visit
* Told me about the opportunity to petition the water company to refund a portion of the wasted water. I didn't realize this was possible.
* Found TWO leaks which were responsible for the wasted water. Another company came out the day before and was unable to locate the source of the leak.
* Techs were friendly and pleasant when they were here

Cons:
* Several visits (like 4 or 5) over 2 weeks were needed to find the leaks. I think some of the visits could have been eliminated with better planning. For example, be prepared to install a bib on the first visit so that helium tracing can be done immediately.

* The techs consistently missed the time window I was provided by the office. I know they are very busy but someone in the office should do a better job setting expectations that can be met. My bill was reduced to compensate for the delays, but better organization is needed.

* Communication was difficult because it was unclear which channel I should use (e.g., text, email, phone) and with whom. This was especially frustrating as the company did not proactively schedule follow-up visits and I needed to pursue them to follow-up.

* The bill was sent at the end of the project and it was wrong (too high). The problem was quickly corrected but again organization needs to improve.

Thank God for USA LEAK DETECTOR. I had a major water leak in my house. Multiple plumbers and leak detection came in unfortunately they were all unsuccessful. I called the water company to ask for help. They told me to call USA LEAK DETECTOR. I called them. They came in. They took care of my issue less than an hour. Hands-down best dictation company in Bay Area..

USA leak detection save my life my apartment Flooded And during the weekend its hard to find service asap but they came and prevented more damage then needed to be.

I used USA leak detector services to validate a hot water plumbing fix. I was able to call them on a Friday schedule an appointment on Monday, which was really helpful for me as there was a lot of restoration work waiting on this. The staff were really helpful, friendly in completing the leak and assuring everything looked good. I would highly recommend them for any water leak detection needs

My house had a very severe leakage recently. One night, the water even flooded out to the garage, living room and family room. However, some plumbers in my area were not able to find out the leaking places. I called USA leak for help and Steve came over to use profession tools and skills to detect the leaking points. Steve has come multiple times and use his rich experience and hellium test to finally pinpointed the leaking point. It turned out to be a concrete slab leaking. He had his crew swiftly fixed the issue and also help repiped the whole house to avoid further similar situations in the future. Really great service and thank you, Steve~.

I'm extremely impressed with USA Leak Detector! I had a leaky window issue and received conflicting opinions from other companies, ranging from replacing the window to claiming it wasn't a window problem. But USA Leak Detector exceeded my expectations. Not only did they arrive promptly on the same day, but they conducted a thorough examination of the area, including the window, apartment, and even the roof, which they correctly identified as the source of the leak.

Steve and his team member AJ are awesome. They fully examined my house with the pro equipments, and had resolved any of my worries. They are absolutely the first choice you should consider for professional leak detection.

The team rushed through the detection process. Found one leak and fixed it but there was another one next to it they missed. Even though the meter kept running, they said it was some lame reason about the toilet but it wasn’t that! Then they disappeared and didn’t responded to massages, and refused to come and finish what I paid for (they guarantee they find leaks or your money back) unless I pay them more. I asked to talk to a manager. After all I paid $2000…. I am still waiting for them to call me (it’s been weeks…). I had to use another company that found the other leak easily. I will not use them again or recommend them.

I had a leak in my house some where and the only reason I noticed was because my water bill was extremely high. I called a couple places and came across USA Leak Detection. Steve was able to come over and find the leak and gave me an estimate on the spot. Total time it took was about 20 minutes to fix and he gave me a huge discount. I had a leak somewhere under my sink and had to call a plumber but they didn’t have the proper equipment. I reached out to a couple leak detectors and came across USA Lead Detector I made and appointment the following day. They where able to find the leak in 15 minutes and write me a estimate which Steve was able to take care of and gave me the best price possible since it only took them a few minutes to find. I had a water leak somewhere in my rental property one month my bill was over 1,000$. As a contractor myself I thought I could find it but unfortunately it was a leak that was underground. I did some research and found USA leak detector they were able to come out the next day, I was amazed by the technical equipment they used to find the leak. Steve was a pleasure to deal with and told me they would have to run helium through the line so they can pin point exactly where my leak was coming from. Steve was able to find it quickly in the hallway of the rental property. Contacted USA Leak today in the morning around 10am and they were able to come out the same day @ 1pm. Steve and AJ were awesome. They came out and were very professional. They advised us of where the leak was coming from and what was needed to fix it. The leak was coming from our irrigation system (which is from the 90's). Steve referred us to an irrigation person, that we will be contacting to fix the issue. The pricing was above fair. They really work their community and even offer discounts for seniors and veterans. I will definitely be contacting them again in the future if needed.
