Plumbing reviews in Hayward, California

I love most Dawn products--dish washing liquid, their power wash, "and more." They would receive five stars EXCEPT for the Dish Wand Dilemma. I've purchased all renditions; and frankly, though they all leak to some extent, I liked most versions. Problem? One cannot purchase replacement brush heads to match whatever wand they currently possess. The latest I purchased promised it would fit "ALL DAWN DISH WANDS." Lie. It doesn't. And it cost $4+. Currently, I found online (for $12) a version that I actually had once before--but it does not have replacement heads. All in all I estimate that I've paid $20+ purchasing various wands and replacement brush heads in the past year and a half. An organization called Butler (which I think is a division of Bradshaw?) told me they couldn't help. I'd asked where I could find product that would be around awhile and have replacement heads. I was in touch with Butler because Dawn told me they had nothing to do with this product. It almost seems like a scan.

Amazing customer service! Had a problem with our 5-year old shower faucet and I called Dawn Customer Service. I talked to a real human right away and they outlined the steps (and parts) needed to fix the problem. Replacement parts arrived in just a couple of days. When doing the repair, I needed guidance, so I called customer service again and Cliff walked me through the steps needed to complete the repair. After my successful repair, the faucet works better than ever!

Not professional and wrong diagnosis.
Initially Steve mentioned they will pin point the leak to the dot and will detect the whole house if needed and fix the the leak and do necessary work then the diagnosis with report is free.
We mentioned it's in the garage that there is wetness on floor. He came and mentioned it's a small leak and red taped the wall and mentioned the plumber is not available for a week but he wanted us to pay $350.
Then I mentioned that's not what he mentioned on the phone. Then he agreed upon that he will charge for the visit and pay them $149 and no report.
So agreed and paid $149 I called my plumber back and he found nothing behind the wall no pipe or any leak as it was diagnosed marked by Steve. Then I called the company back and Steve was not helpful at all and said that's where the wetness is.
I said I can see the wetness by naked eyes and professional detection company is to find the actual leak and where it is without cutting the wall. He did not respond to it. Be careful with this company.
Attached images, first one they marked and second one after my plumber cut open the wall -
I received a $2300 water bill from EBMUD. Steve was able to show up quickly, take care of the leak, and generate a report for the water company right away. Highly recommended!

AVOID this company—be aware of their lack of professionalism.
We had a water leak, and Steve initially came out to identify the source. Up to that point, everything seemed fine. He told us he couldn’t pinpoint the exact location of the crack and recommended rerunning the entire water pipe—a major repair. After inspecting the area, they provided a proposal for $15,500. We discussed the price and agreed verbally to $14,000, which he offered. He returned the next day with another worker to begin preparations for the 811 call.
Then, without warning, I received a revised proposal from Maria that added over $4,500 to the original quote. This was shocking, especially given the urgency of a water leak. Since we had already agreed on the job, I had stopped looking for other contractors. When I asked for an explanation, she claimed it was due to a measurement error—on their part.
I asked Maria, the owner, to call me so we could discuss the situation in detail. I was told she would call on Sunday, but I never heard from her. After multiple calls, texts, and even a voicemail, I still received no response—only a message saying she would call later that evening, which, again, never happened. She finally called me back randomly on Wednesday morning when I missed her call. I called back, but she now says she is traveling.
This experience has been extremely frustrating. Changing a quote by thousands of dollars after a verbal agreement and then ignoring the customer when asked for clarification is unacceptable—this reflects poor customer service and unprofessional behavior. -

When I walked out to my garage to leave for work the other morning, I noticed the cars were wet and there was visible water dripping from the ceiling. I found a company called Water Shield Leak Detection that was local and gave them a call. Mike was actually at another job, but made it to my place within an hour. He explained what he was going to do and kept me informed from start to finish. He pinpointed the exact source the leak with his tracing equipment and also identified all the water-damaged area with a high-tech infrared instrument. Additionally, he was able to provide mitigation of the affected areas. Another gentleman showed up shortly thereafter and opened up the ceiling and wall and then set up fans and dehumidifiers. Mike also had restoration services available, which got scheduled for the same they day removed the drying equipment and treated the area with antimicrobial stuff to prevent mold growth. After all was said and done, everything was put back to just like nothing ever happened. Big props to Mike for getting things started and expertly quarterbacking the entire process.

They are experienced, friendly, and know exactly what they are doing. They were able to immediately determine the source of the water leak. They also gave me some suggestions on the best possibilities for the repair. They are also willing to work with you on the cost.
