I recently had the pleasure of working with Stanley and his team for the replacement of two different air conditioner units and evaporator coils at my home in Irvine. Over the past year, they have consistently impressed me with their professionalism and quality of service.

From the start, their pricing was very fair, which made a significant investment feel much more manageable. The entire team is both professional and respectful, which is a breath of fresh air in today’s service industry.

They took great care to use tarps and always wore shoe covers while working in my home, ensuring that there was no mess left behind. I met Stanley two years ago in Big Bear and recently my 1986 furnace stopped working and I am very glad that I turned to his company. Stanley offered me a choice between repairing and replacing the furnace, he explained to me in detail the pros and cons of repair, and I considered that it was inappropriate to repair my furnace, since the problem was a short circuit between the control board and the blower motor, and besides, my A/C unit is so It was produced in 1986 and if you replace the equipment separately it will cost more, so my wife and I decided to replace the entire system (furnace, evaporator coil and condenser unit). Stanley offered us a very good price since we decided to replace the entire system, and he also explained why replacing the system in the winter costs less than in the summer. The installation process itself was very mesmerizing, as if everything happened in time lapse mode, Stanley and his team definitely know what they are doing, they replaced our system, showed how to connect the new WiFi thermostat to the Internet and to our phones, swept and vacuumed after installation, which It was very nice, since often after any construction or repair work there is dust or small debris that not everyone cleans up after themselves. Our system is much quieter than our previous system and is also more energy efficient. I recommend everyone to contact Stanley if you need help with heating or cooling systems.

We were building a new single-family house, and Stanley and his crew were absolutely fantastic to work with for everything regarding ducting and ventilation. They quoted us for a new HVAC system top to bottom, came promptly to install each part of the system as the project progressed and got the work done in record time.

Not only that, but they really did go above and beyond for even small matters, but especially inspections, coming back each time there was even the smallest issue that needed addressing. All in all, they were great, easy to get a hold of, and their work was excellent.

My heater from 1987 finally stopped working. It was running but no heat for 3 days in chilly February! So I had 3 different companies give me a free estimate. Stan really impressed me. He was extremely knowledgeable at diagnosing the problem in 5 -10 minutes. He showed me that the controller was broken by using a special device that manually turned on my heater. He even told me the fan was making noise and needed to be replaced. The other two companies weren't as fast nor thorough (they didn't address the fan, one wanted to replace the igniter and valve which were fine, one took over an hour to diagnose, and the other companies couldn't prove to me why the controller was broken).

So I had my heater replaced (stan told me the pros and cons vs getting a heat pump). His partner alex installed the heater from 8am to noon and also did an amazing job.

Now my dad and I don't have to be freezing at night! I will definitely call Stan again for my ac and water heater replacements in the future!

Airstream AC are absolute professionals! My home HVAC stopped cooling in the middle of a heat wave. They were able to come over to my home the same day I called, arrived on time, identified the problem within minutes and fitted the replacement part. The service is professional, well priced and of excellent quality!

I am writing this review on behalf of my parents. During Covid-19 they are isolated and they started to smell smoke when they turned on their air conditioning. Jonny Menkin, Owner and Operator of AIRSTREAM, provided excellent service! Jonny was professional, courteous, HONEST and eager to expeditiously fix the air conditioning problem. He was extremely cautious of his surroundings wearing a mask, gloves and having sanitizer accessible.

It took ONE CALL to Jonny, and he was at their home, addressing the air conditioning concern. He found the problem! He fixed the problem!

Johnny is great. He can has done two jobs for me now and I have been pleased both time. I gave him a budget of $250 to fix my AC unit at one of my rentals and he contacted the tenant quickly and got her AC working in no time. Thank you Johnny. You are my go to HVAC guy in the central OC area.

Johnny at Airstream AC on Barranca went above and beyond to fix my elderly parents' air conditioning over the 4th of July weekend. First, he answered their call even though it came in late on a Friday night, next, he showed up first thing in the morning and finally, he managed to track down the part and install it on the morning of the 4th of July! Talk about integrity and fantastic customer service! These guys have been great from the moment they installed the system in 1995. Highly recommend.

Jonny is great...very knowledgeable and HONEST. He has a high degree of integrity and WILL follow up with you. He fixed my Mother's A/C system which took quite a bit of time and analysis and was very fair priced. Additionally, when I had a problem at my own house, I described it over the phone and rather than making a $150 service call, he told me likely it was a clogged drain and how to clear it. It took me 5 minutes and saved me the money. I definitely recommend Jonny's service and his company.

I am a property manager and my reputation depends on providing my landlord clients with excellent service. A large part of that is finding the very best vendors to work with. For over 25 years Jonny Menkin at Airstream has been providing me with great service at a very fair price. Often I've received phone calls from homeowners that had an HVAC company out who couldn't repair something or wanted to charge an exhorbinant amount for a replacement. When they called Jonny he would either make the repair or quote them much less for a replacement. Either way he always is honest and upfront.

Jonny has always been very kind, considerate when address my AC over the last 8-10 years. I do find his cost of services VERY VERY fair compared to others, maybe because he is an independent owner and he is the one that does the work. I love supporting people like Jonny!!!!
