They love flying through neighborhoods at 45 in a 25. At least Brentwood neighborhoods. I guess the upside is they start their AC repair five seconds sooner.

Both Jay and Lizzie were fantastic to work with. Jay did a fabulous job explaining what the issue was and what needed to be done. Lizzie was friendly and efficient, getting me on the schedule promptly and communicating clearly.

I have been doing business with Jay Bradford since 2006. His work is stellar, estimates reasonable, and the customer service is second to none! He is very knowledgeable about air & heating and goes out of his way to educate the customer.

I rarely make referrals to friends and family, but Jay is an exception!

The business responded to my inquiries quickly, the price was reasonable, and I made an appointment for the time frame of 1-3pm. Two service people, Gustavo and Alex, arrived at my house exactly at 1pm so I was quite pleased. They were polite, masked, and after I showed them the dryer area, they assured me that they would be able to complete the vent clean out without difficulty. I left them to it! Sure enough, about a half hour later, it was done. Gustavo showed me where my vent began and where it ended on the outside of my house and answered all of my questions. Everything is working well! The fee was mid-range to the estimate and I felt it was very fair. Good job! I would definitely use this company again and refer it to friends.

Jay and lizzie helped us out when all others couldn’t or were so busy they wouldn’t.
When i was told a month out jay and lizzie got me a condenser unit and coil in a heat wave and cool again.
Than recently my furnace needed work and again was jay and lizzie to the rescue

Jay has been taking care of our furnace and air conditioner for decades now (really, I found my old review on another site from 2009). He's terrific - always goes above and beyond the call of duty and is very reasonable. He even drives down to south San Jose!

He's helped us with A/C, heating system replacements, water heater replacement, floor heater thermostats and regular tune-ups. Always incredibly professional and helpful.

Jay is extremely honest and knows this business inside and out. Highly recommended!!!!

Bradford heating and air did a fantastic professional job installing our new A/C and heater. They were on time, communicated everything in a complete and understandable way and finished the job quickly. Our air is working great and we would refer anyone who needs a new unit or repairs on an existing one to use them.

The technicians showed up on time which I really appreciate. Two technicians Isaiah and Michael cleaned my dryer vent and also reattached the dryer vent to the wall. Followed was their senior technician to service the heating ad a/c unit. He gave a very thorough report of the condition of the two units and advice on how to up keep the a/c unit for the coming summer season. I will call them again next year to do the same service at my house.

Anthony and Brandon are top-notch specialists in helping us clear our dryer systems. My whole family is so happy and grateful for their excellent service and care.

Background:

We have multiple units in the same building. None of our dryers are drying clothes properly. It would take 3-4 runs to dry a batch of clothes. We thought we needed to replace all of the dryers but we spoke to Bradford Air and Heating. They came initially to diagnose the problem and provided a fix from the external view, but when we realized that the other units in the building didn't get solved, Anthony and Brandon came back and diligently diagnosed the problems and took the time to properly fix each dryer piping.

Bradford Air and Heating:

They were careful with Covid protocols knowing we have unvaccinated toddlers and family members in the high-risk category. They were shoe protection indoors and happily wore N95 masks throughout the grueling procedures. They were efficient and even took the time to properly explain the logic for some of the difficulties we were experiencing. On top of that, they suggested ways for future protections and even looked into our heating unit to make sure other parts of our house were taken care of.

Conclusion:

I will highly recommend Bradford Air and Heating and definitely see if you can get Brandon (who has a great sense of humor) and Anthony (who is diligent in making sure each step of the procedure is followed) to come service your house.

i have used Bradford Air and Heating several times. The employees are very professional and have always been on time. They do a great job and clean up everything after they are done. I would highly recommend them for any job. The prices they charge I have found to be more then fair compared to others.

Bradford A&H is a top notch company. They came out right away and gave us an estimate. Jay was courteous and communicated all the options. Our house is so well heated in the winter and cool in the summer. Excellent company and you can’t go wrong with them!

New heat & a/c unit mounted on the roof, Jay came out inspected old system 29 years and recommended a new unit. They did exactly what they promised start to finish 1 day. It’s nice to find a reasonably priced professional contractor. Jay at Bradford is exactly that !

I started using Bradford Air and Heating after another company told me I would need a completely new AC system and quoted an outrageous price. I called Jay and he fixed the AC which I ran all summer. Just the other day his professional staff came out and checked the heating system. All is well. Bradford Air and Heating can be depended upon to be honest and professional.

Stay away from Bradford Air and Heating!!!

They showed up an hour and a half late for my dryer vent cleaning. A day or two after they left, we realized that the top of our dryer had visible dents that weren’t there before, and the dryer was making strange noises, in addition to condensation around the dryer itself. Turns out the guys who came out didn’t clamp the vent hose to my dryer, only to the wall.

After calling to explain the situation, Jay, the service manager, also the highest person in the organization, believed his employees over the customer. He said “well, the story my guys are giving me and what you’re telling me are different, so, sorry”. He said that his employees asked me a couple questions, when they did not. They laid on top of my dryer per Jay. And per the “contract” I signed, it said that the company wasn’t liable for any damages done to the dryer, so Jay said he wouldn’t compensate me for the damage. The only thing I got comped was a refund for the dryer vent cleaning.

All in all, a rather horrible customer service experience and a terrible company as well. I’d recommend literally anyone else to clean your dryer vent.

Bradford air provided me excellent service. I contacted Bradford air /heating (Jay) when my furnace stop working. Jay responded immediately and was able to quickly diagnose the problem. Unfortunately due to the furnace being older, he did not have the replacement part available in his work vehicle. Jay returned the next day with the part and the furnace has been working flawlessly since. Jay is very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I would without hesitation use Bradford Air again in the future.

I wish I could give Bradford heating and air more stars. Very professional, great value and great service. I WILL be using for my AC. Michael did a great job installing my new wall heater. I would recommend Bradford to all my friends and family. Great work!!! 🙂🙂 Another very happy customer

Our air conditioning unit wasn't working correctly, and we tried resetting the thermostat, replacing the air filter first, and even looked in the attic to check for leaks. The indoor temperature wasn't going down and everything seemed to be turning on correctly. As soon as Jay entered our side yard, he could hear that it was the capacitor. Within ten minutes, he had replaced the capacitor and had our AC running smoothly again. I highly recommend Bradford Air & Heating if you need a local HVAC expert!

Jay does great work, is honest, and I can tell he really cares about his customers. He did a full installation of new AC and heater units with little issue. I would definitely recommend Bradford Air & Heating to anyone looking for heater or AC home service.

This place is amazing! They could have sold me an entirely new unit but instead they just went with the pump. Fast, attentive and they truly care. Outstanding service!!!

Brandon and Alex came on time to clean up our duct and dryer vent. They are very professional, polite and informative. After vacuuming each vent, they cleaned up the floor as well. I am very happy with their work. I am also grateful that they wore face masks all the time while on site. Jay and Susan are very helpful in scheduling and supporting the project too. Everything went very smoothly since I first called Jay. I didn't shop around to compare with other quotes. But the price is quite reasonable to the best of my knowledge, especially at such a time as now everything is getting so expensive. Will definitely come back to Bradford for our next project.

Our furnace needed repair around the holidays and Bradford Air & Heating came out and quickly determined that we needed a new control panel.

Unfortunately, the part was difficult to locate, but once they found and received the part the installation was quick. Jay, the serviceman, is very professional, reliable, personable and trustworthy.

About 8 days after the repair, the air was not heating, it only would circulate room temperature air. Jay came out promptly, found some small issues that needed further maintenance and cleaning. He performed this service and got us back up and running with no extra charge.

I'd highly recommend Bradford Air & Heating for any HVAC repairs or service.
