Hot water heater replacement: I highly recommend Able To Plumbing. The team was responsive, courteous, honest and executed the job in a timely manner and left the site cleaner than when they arrived.

This company has been the most reliable honest and friendly people that I so very much trust. I appreciate the fact they took their time to explain everything in detail. I'm very grateful and will call again if needed. There is no other plumbing company like able to plumbing !!!!!!

Travis was wonderful. We had a toilet with a broken floor bolt. He can out at the appointed time. Assessed the problem and had the parts. Fixed in less than an hour. He is also very professional and pleasant to deal with. I will use them again!

Travis and Trentyn at Able to Plumbing are: a) responsive, b) knowledgeable, c) get the job done right , d) in a timely/cost effective way and e) honest/reputable. They've helped me with plumbing problems for almost ten years now.

Examples of some work done:
- repair and/or replace water heater (Bradford White),
- repair leaks or replace item as needed:
a) toilets (Toto and Kohler)- mostly internal parts as needed (if making a running noise)
b) kitchen and bath faucets (Price Pfister, Moen))- parts or whole faucet,
c) hose bibs,
- repair/replace shower cartridges (no hot water or water won't stop coming out),
- help locate hidden sewer clean out with camera equipment,
- assist with fixing a jetted tub whose on/off button wouldn't work,
- install earthquake gas shut off valve,
- repair/replace broken plumbing: replace broken toilet handle, tub drain housing (tub stopper would not stay in place).

Three stories:
1) Grateful for Knowledge/Experience/continued hot water: Gas water heater had no hot water. It was relatively new, and had been installed by another company. The other company's tech, came out and 'fixed' it but a year later, again, no hot water. So, I called Travis. He looked at it, and knew that there was a part with a known issue/recall (I think it was the gas controller/pilot assembly) , and the warranty to get the replacement part was about to expire. He got the part, installed it, and we've had no water heater issues since. (And since then, when we replaced a different, older, water heater, they replaced with a new one, and that one also works very well.)

2) Service/extra attention to detail: While replacing the shower/tub drain housing, Trentyn noticed the water pressure at the shower seemed weak, so he cleaned the aerator too, and the water pressure got much better.

3) Most recent experience today: Resourcefulness/helping the customer with an economical and correct solution: The bath tub faucet was leaking, and tub spout was back spraying. The tub faucets are older (late 1990's), and the replacement stems are discontinued. This meant the cost/time to fix could be much higher: involving breaking/removing the tile and not having a matching replacement or removing the whole tub to access underneath. Travis explained to me what he found, the possible expense if the discontinued items were unavailable, and then very fortunately took the extra time to source/find the discontinued stems, and fixed it the same day. He also cleaned the aerator to fix the backspray. See pics (with leak and after fix).

Payment and Invoices: Takes credit cards, and I got a detailed email invoice/receipt.

The Able company completed my water heater installation completely and professionally and to code. The permit was signed by the inspector the next day. I am very satisfied with their work and highly recommend the “Able To Plumbing” company and will use them for any plumbing jobs I might have.

We had the main drain for our whole house clogged which we didn’t discover until 4p on a Friday afternoon. We called a few places and no one was available until middle of the following week. Able To Plumbing sent someone out within 20 minutes! He was friendly, informative and fixed the issue in under an hour. After the recent earthquake swarms in San Ramon, I contacted Able To Plumbing & Rooter in Livermore to evaluate and ensure the safety of our natural gas lines in the backyard. It was a pleasure working with Travis Ables, who generously volunteered to visit our home and provide valuable insights about our gas system. Despite his extensive experience and knowledge in the field, his humility truly impressed me. He took time out of his busy schedule to carefully assess our setup—and did not charge a penny. His dedication to his profession is what truly sets him apart.

Just had a great experience with Able To Plumbing. Had an urgent situation with a leak on our mainline into our house (under constant pressure), called Able To and they immediately responded and scheduled an inspection the next day. They quickly assessed what needed to be done and after getting the parts needed, repaired this part of the water manifold going into our house (that also connected to fire sprinklers). Kept me updated and clearly communicated what the issue was and what parts were needed for repair. Will be my go-to plumber in the future for sure.

Our Delta pull down tub spout diverter for the shower broke yesterday. I called Able To Plumbing this morning and Travis was at my house just a few hours later to fix it. He quickly replaced the spout diverter for a reasonable price and it was working again before noon. Travis and his team are friendly and professional. We trust Travis and Able To Plumbing for all of our Plumbing needs. Thank you for your help today and several other times over the last 5 to 8 years.

Travis and Trent at Able to Plumbing are the best! I have depended on Able to Plumbing services from over 10 years. Always friendly, skilled, and helpful. Used Reed plumbing my main was backed up and after our remodel I guess one of the bathroom was done wrong with another plumbing company. Reed plumbing came super professional and fixed our problem. Will be using them in the future. Highly recommend them!
