Raul was very knowledgeable on smoke detectors. Why we needed the update for them. The building installed them 40 years ago, it was time to update to code. Raul was very professional and aware of what we needed. Powell Electric has a valuable employee in Raul.

Ken and John were great they got straight to it job was done and they were professional thank you guys. Generator outlet switch removal and interior switches and outlets installed.

Raul was very knowledgeable and I accepted his proposal, but canceled within the 3 day period in order to get 2 more estimates before making a decision.

Our hallways lights needed to be replaced. After consulting with Ari, we chose canister light features. The day of the installation, Adrian and Abrahm did an amazing job. They were efficient and made sure they left the work area clean.

Raul and the other two guys Who finished the project today were amazing. They were professional knowledgeable on time. They explained everything to me and moreover they fixed it right. Ari replaced a bathroom light fixture and did a great job. He was quick, on time and we were very pleased with his work. This is our second time using Powell Electric after an excellent result on our previous servicing need. Will definitely call again if needed.

The technicians, Junior and Juan, were very professional! They prept the work area to safeguard my floors! Completed the works in a timely manner! They confidently had us check their work and we were completely satisfied! They ensured all debris was removed and cleaned up after themselves!! This was the 4th time we had Powell Electric come to our place! Each time, all the technicians have been awesome!

I requested the earliest appointment for Monday, 11/24/25. Powell did not arrive until after 6pm and did not have enough time to accomplish any garage outlet repairs or bathroom fan installation. Earliest appointment is now Friday, 11/28/25... This appointment must be earlier, 9am to noon in order to accomplish fan installation and garage outlet replacement as needed.

Luis did a great job in client intake. He’s knowledgeable, attentive to our wiring issues and professional. Time scheduling was smooth, quick and done in timely manner. The team, Giovanni and Francisco are both did great job as well. Pricing was a little high, but we got what we’ve paid for.

He had his technician Doug come out and arrived in the allotted time slot with a confirmation phone call beforehand.
Doug is great. A seasoned veteran who was polite, profession and knew exactly what to test for. He also put the plate back on an intercom system that kept coming off.

Powell Electric did a great standard job on installing a 240V outlet in my garage for a Samsung 2-in-1 washer that uses a special plug and outlet to power its 240V workloads.

Estimate was good and allowed me to ask many question and reason about the proccess and task with the Powell representative. I accepted the estimate and it was then installed.

One thing I liked a lot was their dedicated dispatch center that took questions on their line.

Service was to put in a range hood and while technician was here I asked him to look at ceiling fan. He was super accommodating and friendly.
Each project needed more parts, so that they will be coming back. I have never had anything done like this before, so I’m not sure about if the price quoted is average or not; but we have had work done by Powell before and they have fixed the issues superbly.

Mariano greeted me in a friendly outgoing manner, politely and seemed to be genuinely concerned with helping me. I told him what the problem was. He asked which of the fans was the problem. He climbed a shot step ladder and pulled off the bottom of the fan. Found the problem, but did not happen to have the needed part. I asked what the cost would be. I asked if I could think about it. He replied sure without applying any pressure. He put my ceiling fan back together, and left the number to call back if I decided to fix it. Mariano thanked me for calling, said goodbye and left without applying pressure to fix the problem. He was very polite, friendly and professional throughout.

Tbh it’s hard to find vendors here in Long Beach, but when I found Powell they have worked with me even in some demanding asks on my part and knock out for me. Highly recommended if you want shit done right

Mariano was an amazing technician. He was very polite, knowledgable, and honest.

He helped me figured what I needed to do in order to get my electrical work dont correctly, safely, and in the cheapest manner possible!

I would highly recommend him and Powell electrical for that manner, for any and all electrical work for new home owners.

Junior and Sebastian absolutely crushed it, they came promptly on schedule and wasted not time getting to business. As the project I needed was a long and extensive series of circuits , new lines, outlets, Breakers, and restarting my central heating. After working all day and giving me the run through i noticed an outlet and heating still didnt work. Regardless of anfull days work they pulled their gear back out and replaced and fixed what was needed, this was after a full day and they were as cool and polite as if they just got here. Extremely professional and would book them again anytime but I doubt I'll need to call again anytime soon due to their thorough work. Will recommend to everyone though !

Daniel , Jesus and Jacob did an exceptionally fine job. There were more than one very tricky problems with our outdoor lights and adding a new 20 Amp line , but the team kept coming out until the job was done perfectly. Sam had great ideas and he and Powell worked with us as far as pricing and financing is concerned. Over all the whole team came up with a very creative solution We are now very pleased

Our experience with Powell Electric was positive. Martin Jimenez gave us a quote to replace 4 kitchen ceiling lights. We had florescent lights and had to change to led. Martin and Abram came out on Saturday and completed the job in 2 1/2 hours. They worked neatly and with efficiency. Martin and Abram both very courteous and friendly. We are very happy with the work they did.
