Mariano my electrician was absolutely fantastic! Very knowledgeable, very helpful, professional and kind. We truly appreciate his service and expertise . We will definitely be recommending more people to Powell Electric and ask for Mariano's service. He was quick and very efficient! So happy we called after seeing a commercial on tv.

Junior and Sebastian were super polite, nice, and knowledgeable. They did all the work neatly and cleaned up afterwards. Will definitely work with them and Powell Electric again!

I wanted a switch installed for my whole-house fan. I wanted a two position switch for high, low and center off. They claimed that no such switch was available, even when I found one from Home Depot on the internet. Finally they offered to install a single on-off switch for a two-speed fan. Then they wanted $1200 for a job I didn't want. I sent them away.

I got on Angie's List and found a fellow who came the next day and did the job.

Powell has great commercials with "Sparky & Shorty" but to heck with 'em!

Powell electric answered my call on a Sunday and scheduled me quickly for Monday afternoon. They called and e-mailed me about 45 minutes ahead of the technician arriving. Doug arrived right on time and got right to work. He was able to diagnose my electrical issues and presented me with several options. He also did not pressure me to do any of the recommendations, just honest feedback. I would definetly use Powell again.

Another fantastic experience with Powell. Giovanni, Erik and Tommy, my heroes. They had to run new conduit and electrical to bring my front yard landscape lighting to life. Years ago, an awful electrician miswired things. Severely.

It was a huge project. New conduit, under my concrete walkway. New outlet. New everything.

But they persisted and went for perfection, which they achieved. When the were done, all was cleaned up completely. It was like they were never here.

What great guys, too! I love them!

Powell, really is the tops, the very best.

Powell Electric never disappoints! We had the dreaded fire alarms chirping from hell situation. Replaced the batteries, cleaned out the units, put them back in and silence. Phew! But no, 20 minutes later, of course, one would not stop with the 3 chirps. The 3 piercing chirps. I went down the YouTube rabbit hole on how to fix the situation instead of calling Powell Electric immediately. 4 Tylenol and 7 videos later, I finally called. One of their electricians could come to the rescue in the afternoon and Doug arrived just before I took a hammer, blow torch and anything else I could find to the fire alarm. He immediately "un-chirped" the unit and had a replacement with him. We had time to talk through other electrical issues we are having and he gave me a brief estimate to the work and he'll send a more detailed list tonight. Great guy, great electrician and my dog loved him as well. Thank you to Powell Electric for your fast response and to Doug for your fast "un-chirping"! We look forward to working with you all in the future and knowing that everything will be done professionally.

Very pleased 👍with the Powell Electric guys I was sent. John Ortiz and Kevin were always on time and even early to do their work. Very professional and very knowledgeable in what they are doing. Nothing was a big deal to questions and concerns raised. Howard, Sam and Jason were also very helpful when I had an issue after the work was done. Highly recommend for small or big job. And they cleaned up after their job everyday😁

We had to replace all the wall outlets and switches in our home. Kevin, John and Abraham did an amazing job getting all of those fixed. They were on time, extremely courteous and professional. They took time to explain all the issues they found! They had to move stuff around to get to the outlets and once the work was done done they moved all of them back to their original places carefully and vacuumed the place before they left 🙌🏽. Thanks for all your excellent work!

Mariano is simply the best. He always takes care of my home needs. He's knowledgeable and explains things in simple terms that you can understand. He has never steered me wrong. Trust is hard to come by these days and this man HAS MY TRUST, ALWAYS.

Miguel, Juan, and Sebastian from Powell Electric were awesome. It was a 3-day project with lots of surprises that they adjusted to, were friendly and left my house spotless at the end of each day. I had put off this project for 2 years. So happy I found Powell Electric!

If you are having electricity issues, I highly recommend contacting Powell Electric. Every aspect of this business is managed well. The communication is top notch. You will receive a phone call and a text message letting you know when the electricians will arrive. Once they arrive, they review the work order and cover the floors before starting.

Adrian and Abrahm did an amazing job replacing our hallway lights from a hanging fixture to canister lights. Their work exceeded my expectations.

This is not the first time i have used Powell electric’s services. The first time was about 30 years ago. I moved a wall between a closet and a half bathroom-only sink and toilet, no shower, put in a shower stall in a 3 bedroom rental my father and i were trying to improve as it had only one shower for
3 tenants . Powell put in the switches and i think the ceiling exhaust fan. I

Outside which appeared to be lacking ground wires in my estimation and explained that some of the curcuits had the old metal conduit which acted as a ground. And the romex running everywhere i

Is in fact code and safe. Myself, after thirty plus years maintaining and repairing
Rental units still think the metal conduit best and adds value to your investment and romex does not which when financies permit i will have Powell remove and entirely replace. One thing I’m still worried
About is whether or not not someone has my entire circuits on an app or somehow madethemselves administrator of my wifi or have a hidden módem somewhere inside the attic or walls to drive me crazy so i will run and sell the house at a significantly lower price than my inexperienced mother paid for it. I have repaired every problem the house has presented me with so far; water appearing on bathroom floors out of nowhere. lights which won’t come on or go off or come on and go off out of nowhere. My smart TV changes the channel just as president Obama has got my full attention
and the remote won’t take me back to.
Oops I think i over shared. Powell electric at least put my mind at ease. I was worried a fire might break out in the attic because of intentional creative wiring.

John and Kevin did an excellent job upgrading our breaker box from 100 amp to 200 amp and installing a Level 2 outlet for fast-charging our electric cars. They were professional, efficient, and super helpful throughout the process. Highly recommend—thanks again!

I was fortunate enough to bump into John Miles and his crew while they were servicing my neighbors. Couldn't have been more lucky to find them. I have a 100 year old craftsman that still had knob and tube, and they redid my entire house, added outlets, upgrade my panel, installed recessed lights, and dimmers, all while being cordial, friendly, and consistent.

The price tag was more than fair for a licensed electrician with 35 years of experience actually handling a lot of the work, not just passing by. This is a family business, so you can expect a great level of care for your family and your household.

“Do you Know an Electrician?” Nope, but I know a Very Good Electrician!!! My go to guy since the first time he came out and fixed the electrical issues at my home. What can I say, the Guy knows his stuff. Full of knowledge in his field and performs clean quality work. Don’t hesitate to give him a call, he will not disappoint. Very respectful and reasonably priced, give him a shot.

Edy, installed all our lights in the property. Plus later on we asked for LED lights and outdoor lights which he gave a prompt quote and a great price. Edy did the work efficiently and cleanly. Once it was done it really added to the property making it look lovely. We recommend Edy for all electrician work!
