Reflecting back on the various electricians we vetted for our Generac whole-house generator project, choosing DEC was the right move. Despite some initial stumbles and unique design complexities to overcome, we think DEC rose to the challenge and worked hard to earn our business. Throughout this lengthy endeavor, owner John Large maintained steady communication, was flexible to our needs and was receptive to our design input. When installation day finally arrived, Matt and Cody worked intensely from 7:00AM until after dark to get the job done AND leave the jobsite clean. When some final loose ends required attention, Matt was back within a reasonable timeframe to address those concerns. In conclusion, our project was a major test for which DEC has passed. They have added another generator to their portfolio while providing us with a great value. DEC has earned our trust on future projects.

Great experience with Direct Electric Company (DEC). Cody and John were great to work with and very knowledgeable. I would definitely use them again for electrical needs, they've transformed my 1988 home into the 2000s with the install of recessed lights.

Direct Electric did an outstanding job installing our EV system in the garage. They were courteous and meticulous, and we truly appreciated their attention to detail. I scheduled an estimate and was told they were running a promotion so the $39 fee was waved. The electrician came and looked at the ceiling fan gave me an outrageous price of $349 to install but it was already installed we just needed it properly wired. He then charged me $129. I mentioned the free estimate and he said the estimate is him just knocking on my door……seriously. Shady business practices and conning me I to a free estimate bait. Shady bussiness practices😡

Direct Electric did a great job and it was no easy task! Replacing two chandeliers that were in two-story high ceilings and included assembly, installation of an oversized porch pendant light, along with matching sconces, and figuring out what was tripping an outdoor GFI receptacle repeatedly along with replacing said receptacle. Aydan and partner were super nice, professional, respectful of property, and cleaned up when they were finished! They made sure I was satisfied with each part of the job and answered any questions I had. From talking to John about what I needed, getting an estimate, scheduling the work, and having it completed so quickly, Direct Electric is a breeze to work with! I would definitely recommend them and will use them again!

GEC was subcontracted to install smoke detectors near my solar batteries and wire it to my home system. Easy enough. The electrician told me he would have to drill some holes in the drywall and that they would be repaired the next day. Not a problem. I took the day off work. GEC’s drywall guy was a no call, no show. I complained and was given an appointment on the following Monday between 3 and 5 pm. I took the following Monday off. GEC’s drywall guy, again was a no call no show. I complained again. At approximately 7:20 PM, about a half hour after I complained, GEC’s drywall guy showed up, with a kid, and appeared to have been drinking. He said he was “confused.” He tried to argue with me that there was an appointment between 3 and 5, oblivious to the fact that it was after 7 0’clock. Obviously, I didn't let him in and told him that he would have to come back the next day. I complained again with my observations of the drywall guy. The worst part was the condescending replies that I recieved. “We’re sorry for the misunderstanding.” What misunderstanding? She even went on that her drywall guy wasn’t a drinker. It sure looked like it to me. It’s my opinion that if I didn’t complain as i did, my drywall would still have holes cut in it. By the was, I talking about 6, 6 inch holes. I would not recommend GEC if they have someone like this drywall guy representing their company.

I received fast and great repair service on my Whole House Fan'. Direct Electric replaced my old bad duct with a new one for a very reasonable price. Also, the two Representatives that did the repair work were very professional and courteous.

Direct Electric has done a lot of work for me in the past: changed bathroom lights, added a house fan, added an attic fan, changed smoke detectors and changed all my kitchen lights. They deserve a 5+. Always friendly from schedulers, installers, to receptionist. The company also communicates well with clients. I would recommend them to everyone!

Our electrician was excellent!! There was no chandelier in my daughters room so we ordered one from Restoration Hardware. The electrician came installed it with a Beautiful install the Restoration Hardware dimmer was defective so the electrician drove to Home Depot and bought us a new one. He did not have to do that, but he wanted it to work perfectly. He was awesome.

I had issues with both my microwave and gas stove suddenly stopping, and he came out quickly, diagnosed the problem right away, and fixed everything efficiently. He was professional, knowledgeable, and very easy to work with. I really appreciate how clearly he explained the problem and the steps he took to repair it.

I’ve used their service for new ceiling fan installation, new outlet for a mounted TV and trouble shooting for a light switch and an outlet that was not working. John & Cody did a great job! We picked Direct Electric Company (DEC) when another company had an estimate/visit charge. We knew DEC was a company working to earn our business not obligate it. The estimate was done on the spot and given to us in hand, email and text. What eventually won us over was the compassion given to us by the estimator when we had an illness and could not go through with the original date. He kept in touch and NEVER made us fill "obligated." Huge!

We secured a new date Ayden arrived at the BEGINNING of the arrival window, both days! Very efficient in his work and his brother Cody, joined him the second day with the same efficiency in work and attention to detail. Ayden is definitely the type of project manager you want on a project for your home. FOCUSED! No frills or pushing for extras. He stayed the course and we were assured if adjustments were made, they should have been. NICE!
