Direct Electric Company (DEC) is outstanding.

This is the second home I have had them install Quiet Cool (QC) whole house fans in. I decided to have the fans moved to different locations in the home from their original installation 6-years ago.

John quoted me a fair price and scheduled his crew to come out that week. The crew showed up on time and politely introduced themselves. They were respectful of my home and had the two QC fans relocated within 3 hours. They cleaned up their work areas very well and confirmed operation of the QC fans.

I would absolutely recommend DEC to anyone wo is looking to have QC fans installed or relocated.

Excellent!!! Actually exceptional work. The guys are super professional and friendly. Most importantly they know what they are doing. They clearly believe in outstanding customer service and take great pride in the service and work they do. I will hire direct electric for all my electric work in the future. It’s very hard to find great customer service these days… exceeded my expectations.

We had Quiet Cool whole house fan and an attic fan installed yesterday in our attic. Also installed was a vent in the ceiling. Within 30 min of the installation the attic temp went from 109 down to 93 and a few hours later it was in the mid 80’s. Aydan explained the installation process prior to beginning the work and kept us informed throughout the installation. He used plastic to cover all my clothes in my closet (attic access) and placed plastic on the floor to catch any debris. Installing took approx 2 hours including explaining how to use the features on the control for the cool fan and to install the Bluetooth app to the attic unit. Aydan did an excellent job. I especially liked how he explained what windows to open in the morning and afternoon in order to maximise the benefit.
We didn’t turn our AC on yesterday with temp of 95 during the day. Last night cool air was flowing in our entire home. Fell asleep and it was 68 degrees upstairs!!!! I actually had to use a thin blanket. This morning the house feels cool. So happy with the unit and can’t wait to save $$$$$$ not having to use the AC all the time because the units bring the temp down approx 20 degrees. Best investment this year.

Needed a ceiling recepticle moved and they came out gave me some quotes for different options. They were up front with things to consider, like if an existing wire was too short, etc. I decided to use them for the work and they came and did the job in about an hour and did a great job. I also appreciated how they pre-marked and confirmed what they were going to do beforehand-- I've had issues with other contractors that "finish" the job only for me to have to call them back to change sometime. Would use Direct Electric again!

Direct Electric Company did a great job on my EV charging station installation in my garage. Fast, efficient and professionally done! I used them in the past on my whole house and attic fan installation. I am very satisfied with the results. That said I will definitely use them

Their service man was polite, listened to the issue before jumping to what needed working on. Then worked safely and quickly to complete the job. Braided on out interaction and service I would use them again.

Aidan Lange was our technician who installed a gable fan. He was prompt and very professional. He explained everything he was doing. When it came to installing the app on my He went step by step for the install and explained in detail the workings of the app and how to change the settings if needed. Direct Electric is our go-to electrician for all of our home needs. We’ve been using them for 20 years! They’ve done outside & inside installs and installed our whole house fan. We give them the highest recommendation!

Excellent company to work with, responsive, transparent, and very fair pricewise. David was my technician, and was friendly, knowledgeable, and was able to clearly explain everything. I feel very lucky to have had such a great experience with an electrician on the first time. No need to look any further, will be using them for future needs and will definitely be referring Direct Electric Company to others!

Yesterday, December 2, I contacted Direct Electric Company as I had some power out at the house dealing with my electrical box. So I contacted this company and they sent over a representative. His name was David. David is an awesome guy. He listened to my story once he got here and he explained to me what needed to be done and he did it in a timely manner. I give these guys five stars based on the fact that they were pretty fast in response, David knew exactly what needed to be done and he got it done in a short amount of time.

They kept me informed me of the progress and arrival for installation. The tech was very knowledgeable and courteous.

Admin and personnel who responded to my residence were on time and professional. The job was completed in a timely manner and I had no complaints!

Great work. He was on time, installed the charger where I asked, and cleaned up when finished. The whole install only took 90 min. Very pleased.

John and his helper did a good, professional job. But, I was told by Honda the charger I'm getting level 2 will be 50A. It is not! Only 40A. No explanation was given. So not happy about that.

Derek did such a great job. He is so nice and professional. My double car charger works great and I can charge two cars at once. The job took one hour. I’m definitely using Epic Electric again for other house lighting and extra outlet jobs.

We were referred by Honda to install an EVSE. Gave them the proper video and pictures. Prepaid, knew it would be roughly 4-500 higher for the longer length install. They quoted $800 on top of $500 pre-paid. I got with an electrical buddy, knew 6 gauge cost, what he'd charge.

Overall this company was nice but they very much overcharge for their services. Would not recommend based on their pricing. LOTS of electricians that can do a basic EV charger install these days, and not attempt to rip you off.
