Alex and team did a wonderful and professional job. They were communicative, courteous and very thorough. In addition to cleaning, there was some replacement work needed for one of our ducts and they explained it and took care of it very promptly. Nir was also friendly and helpful in explaining the work needed over the phone. Highly recommend this service!

Our new home wasn’t heating evenly so I called the most highly rated HVAC companies on Yelp to get a consultation. Two came by and quickly recommended that we replace our entire ductwork with brand new ducts, but for entirely different reasons. So I reached out to Breathable for an objective paid duct leakage test.

Turns out we had 17-18% leakage, a rusted duct, and inadequate airflow to the farthest end of the house. Nir and Juan were great in diagnosing the issues and recommending practical cost-efficient solutions. Juan’s team stayed for over 12h to conduct tests, seal all the leaks and joints, install a new duct, replace the rusted one, install a MERV 16 central filtration, and clean out the entire system (we opted for the Type X reset for optimal air quality). They were fast, clean, and professional — clearly took pride in their work.

Results: Our leakage is now only 5.2% (basically performing like a brand new duct system), our furnace is quieter and heats up the entire house much faster, and I feel prepared for the next wildfire season. And all for half the cost of what other companies quoted me.

Clear Thumb did a thorough job cleaning all my heating ducts and dryer vent. Most impressive was their attention to all aspects of how my vents and heating system was performing. The team foreman, Dani, checked not only the vents I requested, but also confirmed the furnace was working correctly, sealed a gap that he discovered in the piping, cleaned the filters for the furnace and showed me how to check, clean, and replace them myself. He also evaluated, cleaned and improved the functioning of our bathroom fans and vents. On top of all that, every person on the team was respectful of our house and coordinated with me to make the entire work sequence easy and informative. I am very pleased with their service and would recommend them! I've included some "before and after" photos of a few areas they worked on.

There was no breakdown in communication at any point of the way. They were able to fix our HVAC duct that was incorrectly installed, cleaned out all the ducts, and replaced our filters within 3 hours. The guys worked efficiently and quickly, and they all had great attitudes (this matters when you're in the same house with everyone for a few hours).

I’ve used this company several times to clean our air ducts and furnace and change the filter on our furnace. It helps me tremendously with my allergies and asthma. The crew (headed by Alex) was professional and efficient. Definitely recommend!

What a treasure of a crew! We’ve been in this house 8 years, and renovations had been done a few years prior to our move, so clearly overdue for duct cleaning. The price quote gave clear options, it was easy to select option B for this round. Noe & team arrived cheerfully, even in the pouring rain, he and the team quickly brought in their gear, and set up the equipment only after thoroughly protecting all walking areas with plastic sheets lightly taped. They worked carefully, methodically, and with clear expertise to get all the diffusers opened, cleaned and put back intact with all fasteners. Nir’s communications have been excellent, setting this up was a breeze, (literally) and now i want everything in my life to go this smoothly. Would recommend Breathable, 100%++!

After having the air quality in our home tested recently, I wanted to have the air ducts cleaned. After doing some online research, I selected Breathable, and I’m grateful I did.

Alex and his crew were very thorough. Covered all areas which could get dirty. I had a bad experience with previous duct cleaners only inserted the brush a couple of feet into the ducts and it was considered clean. This team inserted it very far into the ducts and they also dissasembled and cleaned the furnace blower which other duct cleaning companies don't include.

Hi hired Alex and his crew for heater duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning also. They arrived on time , professional, thorough, explained well the work they were doing, experienced, soft spoken and knowledgeable. Cleaned afterwards. Priced well.

Alex and the team from Breathable did a spectacular job with air duct deep clean in our San Mateo home. It's an OLD house with an OLD furnace and they went above and beyond to not only clean all of our duct work, but they also helped troubleshoot an electrical problem with the furnace to make sure it would turn on.

They were very tidy and left the house totally clean. We have a bunch of custom wood register floor covers that were glued in and they removed them without any damage to the cover or the hardwood floors.

As someone with chronic asthma and also having a young child, having clean air was incredibly important to us and decided to go with their "Deep Clean + Upgrade" service and had a MERV-16 filter system installed in the furnace. We now feel confident that the air we're breathing is clean, which is priceless. Would recommend Breathable to anyone!

Earlier today Alex and his colleagues came and did the Big cleaning of my HVAC system. (Type B System cleaning) They did a great job completely disassembling the fan and cleaning each fan blade.

First the owner Nir was so responsive and patiently answering all of my questions.
Second Alex and his team did a great job cleaning! They put all covers to protect our belongings, even tightened a loose screw for me in my furnace.
They not only cleaned our vents but also fixed a dryer vent (which many HVAC cleaners don’t do).
Although their price is on the higher end and some upsell items, you get what you pay for for great services and professionalism.

Felipe and his team did an outstanding job cleaning our furnace ducts in San Francisco. They were hard-working, paid attention to detail, and were thoughtful about caring for our home. I would definitely hire Breathable again.

We found Breathable while preparing to have our furnace ducts cleaned prior to turning on the furnace this year, between traffic and construction dust and general particulate matter in the air. We were very pleased to be able to get an appointment within days, and Nir directed us to great informational videos on the website, so that we understood the process. Juan and his team were very efficient, explained exactly what they were doing, and did a great job replacing some ducting that could not be cleaned. We are delighted with the new air filter system they installed on our furnace and we would recommend them highly. A great investment in better health.

Crew did an *excellent* job cleaning. I noticed an immediate difference that evening. The crew leader’s name was randomly also Alex, he communicated well. 10/10. Zero complaints, it felt expensive until I saw the work, then it felt reasonably priced.

My wife and I always knew that something was wrong with our vents. Any time we would turn on the heater or AC we wouldn't be getting quite the power we thought we should be getting. On top of that our allergies would go crazy anytime we would use them. After a bit of research we found Breathable and found that they offered services for everything that we wanted and seeing the great reviews they had we were ready to take the plunge.

From day one Juan from the Breathable team took great care of us identifying all the problems that our vent system and attic space had. We opted for a full system sealing, Type-X cleaning with whole house air purification system install, and attic cleaning with new insulation installation. Even when they found that part of our vent system was physically damaged they were able to remove and replace the damaged section. On top of that they were able to install sheet metal into an unfinished return box in the garage to really seal up our vent system and ensure that we would only be getting clean air. And all of this was finished in only 3 days!

My wife and I are happy to say that it was money well spent as we are already noticing a huge improvement in air quality in our house and we feel that our AC and heater are pushing air through our house the way they should have from the beginning.

We will definitely be reaching out to Breathable again in the future for any more duct cleanings!!!
