Atlas installed the original furnace in 2007 and the prior owner had been happy with their continuing service. Since purchasing the house earlier this year, the Atlas team has been quite responsive to my questions. Their first visit, which turned into a "never mind" kind of situation, yielded a real issue with a ball bearing that was announcing its pending demise. They ordered the part, which arrived even faster than they estimated, and had a different tech come out and efficiently handle the install...on a late Friday afternoon, to boot! These folks are quality, and their pride shows through. They earned our trust.

When it comes to HVAC repair, they are my first pick.

First experience was the replacement of a furnace. Willie’s team did it for significantly less than the next bidder, on time, and great quality. It continues to operate like new in its second winter season.

I was present when my contractor explained what needed to be done. He was very specific and clear. A large part of what was quoted was not done. In addition, the workers did not return personal items to their original location. They also wanted to charge me for an hour of "travel time" between Benicia and Vallejo! When called to account, the owner insisted that the undone portion of the job had never been included in the estimate. They left screws, chunks of asbestos, and shards of razor-like metal all over the floor. This after my contractor very specifically instructed them to be sure to clean up thoroughly because of my dog. Only use this company if you want to over-pay for a shoddy job! They really deserve zero stars but that option is not available!

This company installed my heating and a/c unit about 6-7 years ago. The a/c wasn’t working so I called them to check it out. They sent a mechanic (??) to diagnose the problem and spent 2 hours to tell me that my solar installation compromised the a/c so I called my solar company to check it out. They found no problem with the solar installation and said that it was not getting power for some reason. I then had my electrician check it out and was told that my a/c condenser was shot. I asked the owner Willie Castillo to refund the money that I paid for them to diagnose the problem and he refused. One would think that an a/c company would have checked the condenser that they installed, but obviously didn’t, which cost me more money and time.
I would definitely not recommend Benicia Heating and Air as Willie has no ethics nor feels responsible for his inadequate personal. Bad company!!

Benicia Heating & Air Conditioning installed a new water heater, furnace and ac unit for us. Jim did excellent work with the removal of the old equipment and the installation of the new equipment. Willi was very responsive to any questions we had during the work and he made sure we received the necessary permits from the city. We were very happy with the work and the price was reasonable.

...So glad we went with Willie and his crew instead of Home Depot's contractor!

Since the situation at our place made the installation a tough and unusual job, this local company took the care and diligence to get the job done properly.

The first time I called, Willie was already familiar with our situation and knew exactly what needed to be done. Jim and Kevin were both very professional, polite, and we're so thankful for the hard work they did!

Amazing business! They did quick amazing work. We have no regrets on finally getting air conditioning. This company was friendly and super professional. The air conditioner works flawlessly and the installation was super clean and efficient. My husband had this company put in our air conditioning as a surprise for when I came back from the hospital after major surgery. My husband is not one to think too far ahead so I know they were quick to respond, accommodating, and did the work in a short period of time with probably short notice. Willie and his team of expert craftsmen replaced our heater, A/C and air filtration system and did an exceptional job that we are extremely happy with. After all the work they did they cleaned the work space up and worked with our schedules to get it installed. They should be your first call and you will no doubt be extremely happy with the workmanship and results.
The unit works fantastic and our PG&E bill has even been reduced!
