Alberto, Daniel, and Juan did an excellent job of replacing some pipes for me. Alberto initially came on a Friday to assess the project and returned the following day to do the work. He and his crew were thorough and efficient. Upon completion of the job, the plumbers ensured that the property was clean and secure. I felt that the price was fair, and the labor was warrantied for one year. If you need an experienced and fair plumbing company, I highly recommend Oakland Rooter Plumber.

Just had a wonderful experience with Jose M. from Oakland Rooter. We had a backup in our shower and toilet after the washer drained. It hadn't happened before and the backup relieved itself, but we were still concerned that there was a clog/block somewhere downpipe of the shower. Jose came out and checked the cleanout pipe and recreated the same situation. Ran the shower, flushed the toilet while draining the washer. He showed me the cleanout and how there wasn't an apparent blockage anymore. All pipes were draining. He showed me how to check for a block if it were to happen again. If water isnt getting to the cleanout, you will know there is a block and that snaking is needed. He explained it using an analogy of veins and arteries and it made a lot of sense. I am not well-versed in plumbing and having a plumber explain how household plumbing works in a very easy to understand manner and without judgement made the whole thing a true learning experience. I can now explain to the family how we can all check to see if we have an issue with our drains and where it might be located now that Jose explained how/where to look. Jose and Oakland Rooter made what was a nerve-wracking situation into a stress-free one. I called at 9am to for the initial service and Jose was at the house at noon. Amazing customer service from phone to arrival to service.

We had a trunk line under our house replaced. Very small crawl space. Jose visited on Friday. Fair price quoted on Monday. Work done on Thursday! Excellent work done by Jose and Wilson. House left very clean. All work completed professionally. Super!

I called Oakland rooter on a Thursday and they had someone to my house Friday morning (it was not a plumbing emergency). Eddie was on time, courteous, and fixed our leaking sink within 30 minutes. He explained to me in detail what was wrong and what he did to resolve it. I would use this company again and was very happy with Eddie’s service.

Odie was a lifesaver here at our restaurant. We had a previous plumber that charged us 1600$ for essentially nothing. He and his coworker came in and solved the problem with ease. Called this morning at 11am for a clogged sink drain, and Cesar came at 11:45, and he fixed it in an hour!
The previous plumber from a different company that came a couple of hours before him installed a new pipe and caused a new leak, and didn't fix the clog.
Cesar let me know about the mistake and not only fixed the clog, but also corrected the pipe sizing and fixed the leak!
Their pricing is super great as well. I was quoted $400 hourly by another company and $240 from Oakland Rooter. They had a drain special so I ended up only paying $99! I would highly recommend Oakland Rooter for your plumbing needs!

They have simply reformed my 1946 home including a whole house repipe, new line from the street, new bathtub, bathroom sink, kitchen plumbing, and all the finishes. I hired Oakland Rooter & Plumbing after speaking to several plumbing companies. I was frustrated with no shows, differing opinions and estimates. Jose Moreno came out and walked me through different options for a big repipe project that needed urgent attention. He explained things so well, was patient to make sure I understood the options and costs he presented. He expedited the work, was very thorough, kept me well informed and was reasonable in pricing. After having worked with many contractors, I really appreciate having trustworthy trades that keep their word and have a passion for quality work and happy customers. As far as I'm concerned there is only one Plumbing company that I will call from now on and that's saying a lot.

Mario and his team made it possible! It was not a trivial task to connect the gas lines and water lines for our outdoor kitchen built on the paved area. Mario came up with an ingenious solution! And the implementation was impeccable using the components of best quality. We got lucky that we found Mario! He also replaced for us the leaking 50-year old water house inlet, it was in a bad shape and now the entire unit is new are solid! Ignoring the poring rain, Mario completed this complex replacement in one visit and with highest quality! Impressed!

It was great working with Mario. I needed the gas stove line capped and moved behind the wall. He showed up on time for an appointment which was meant to be a service visit but he was able to fix the issue within 20 minutes.

I've hired Universal Plumbing 5 times for a variety of needs. I've had drains cleared, gas lines moved, broken pipes fixed, fixtures replaced. Every fix Mario does stays fixed - his repairs have lasted me for years. I've had others that break after a few months, Mario comes in, does it right, and his work lasts.

I worked with Mario at Universal Plumbing on the renovation of my house. The worked included installing all new supply piping and modification and additions to the gravity systems including relining the main sewer line.

Mario worked on a partial sewer line repair on my 1905 Craftsman. He was very professional and honest upfront and finished the job in a timely manner. He can handle a wide variety of plumbing issues and is very experienced and knowledgeable. He will be go-to plumber from now on.
