Two plumbers came, Eric and Tim. I wasn't charged more for two. They both put booties on to cover their shoes. They were professional, and friendly. They installed a new faucet, and caulked around it so water wouldn't leak out as it did with my old one. And put in a new O ring where there was another leak. I am very pleased with their service.

Theo came to assess my plumbing concern. He listen well, asked great questions and was very professional. My issue was resolved the same day. I had lived with the problem for sometime not knowing who to call that was reliable. A friend suggested Vets For You. Theo was certainly a great representative of this company.

This company is awesome. I thought I had a leak but Andrew tested and told me it wasn't a problem.
Everything about the visit was professional and very informative. I will want to have my water heater replaced very soon and I will be certain to start with this company. They are honest, punctual, and knowledgeable.

Andrew was great! He went above and beyond to ensure our plumbing was working properly and made some recommendations to avoid future issues. He was quick, efficient and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend.

This company charged $874.50 for less than an 1 hour of work. When I requested an itemized bill to see what I was being charged for I was sent an invoice that said "Emergency repair $624.50" "Leak Detection $250.00" this was not helpful at all! I feel as if this company robbed us because we needed help on Saturday! If an emergency repair is going to be an auto $625.00 that should be disclosed before the work is completed! I would not recommend this company to anyone and not sure how they obtained the good reviews they have. Not to mention if they are charging me for an emergency why did it take 7 hours to show up!? Can I turn around and charge them for any damage that may be due to them taking so long to arrive? We went with this company because it said veteran owned and thought they would be fair. But this company robbed us!

Had an issue with my attempt to replace the water pressure regulator, called and someone was here and had the issue fixed within an hour, all for a very fair price. I worked with Kyle and he was very friendly, polite and gave me some great advice. I would highly recommended working with Vets 4 You.

My water heater finally died and I needed a replacement. I knew exactly who to call. Vets 4 You Plumbing Heating & Air. I spoke to a real person on the phone and had an appointment scheduled right away. Jim took a look at my broken water heater and provided me with several options. I picked the water heater that made sense for our needs and it was installed and ready to go the next day. I love the friendly office staff, the professional techs and the conscientious owners Keith and Jim. This was not my first service call. When I bought the house I am currently living in Vets 4 You fixed many safety and deferred maintenance issues before we moved in. Several years later when my home needed a re-pipe they came to the rescue. Toilette broke and they were Johnny on the spot. If I have a plumbing issue this is who I call and recommend. Great communication, they care, outstanding workmanship and I trust them.

Avoid at all costs! I wasn't there when the tech first showed up but my employee was and he told her it would cost $450 to replace some parts (could of bought a whole new toilet for that price). So he changed some parts then I showed up right when he finished. So I paid him, despite the outrageous price. The next day the same problem was still occurring. They came back out for free but in the end all that was needed was a new flapper to stop it from constantly running water which should be $100 job? I know inflation is real, especially in CA, but It feels like I was ripped off

From start to finish everyone I communicated with at Vets for You was fantastic. Julie did a great job explaining the job and getting me scheduled quickly, Robbie was super informative, helpful and professional while working on the job. Jim and Robbie were both great ant explaining the work needed and going over cost breakdown with me. I will definitely be using their services again in the future.

Vets 4 you plumbing is a great plumbing company that I would highly recommend to anyone in need of plumbing services. Daniel was extremely helpful and honest. Very professional, and I just can't say enough nice things about him and his associate. They arrived right when they said they would even though they were having a busy day. They water jetted the mainline clean out for my Grandma and ran a camera down the line also to inspect the condition of the pipes. We loved their friendliness and professionalism. We also love that they're ex servicemen, as we have veterans in the family too. If you want great work and to have the piece of mind that good work was done on your home, definitely give Vets 4 You Plumbing a call. Thanks again guys!

I am writing this review for my 81 year old mother. She has been very happy with VETS for You and she is an extremely cost conscious and detail focused customer. Today Alex came out and fixed her sink. She says, Thanks for another job well done!

In March she wrote the following letter to the company:

In September 2021 I had a new heating unit installed. The employees were Robert, Robbie, Mel and Jordan. This was a big job and it took them three days to complete the job. I liked all the workers.
Next visit, October 17, the employees were Brandon and Cross. They installed a new kitchen faucet, replaced the emergency shutoff valve, installed a pressure reducing valve and a ¾ inch main water shutoff valve. Very friendly and likable.
Next visit, no charge for maintenance, drained tankless water heater and checked the heating unit and replaced the filter. This was done by Brandon and Ezra.
In February, another big job. Replace the existing tankless water heater to one that was greatly improved in quality. Alex and C J spent several hours on this job. Alex came the day before to check out the problem I was having and to give me an estimate to replace the water heater. Again, great workers.
Then last week my washing machine was leaking water (so I thought.) Julie sent Andrew out in the morning and after filling and refilling the washing machine, it seemed to be working. That afternoon, more problems, so I called Julie again and she said that she would send Willy, the drain guy. At that point the cycles weren’t working. The machine was stuck on WASH. Willy unplugged it and suggested that I contact an appliance repairman man. I contacted Jim’s Appliance and he came the next morning. By the time he left everything seemed to be working, but he suggested that there could be blockage.
Sure enough, the next day on the third load the water starting leaking out again.
I called Julie again and she sent Willy back the next day and after using his snake all seems well. Also, very friendly and helpful.
When I first called Julie, she sent both Andrew and Willy and there was no charge.
The reason for my letter is to share that I’ve liked every person that came out. All very polite, informative, helpful and good workers. That includes Julie. She is friendly, helpful and when I call, I am always happy that she is the one who answers my call. She knows my voice and my name.
When I first met Jim, I liked him right away and never bothered to get a second estimate. Please know, Jim, that your employees speak very highly of you. They are happy to be working for you. And I am happy to be one of your customers!

We suspected we had a slab leak in our living room. Called Vets 4 You on a recommendation. Julie answered. She is the sweetest! So refreshing to speak to someone who provides excellent customer service. Based on the severity of the issue we faced, she scheduled Keith to come out. We were given a 2 hour time window. Keith called me promptly at the beginning of that window to let me know what time he’d arrive. Keith went above and beyond to diagnose the issue and figure out the best possible route to take. Keith and his team are professional, reliable, and honest. For any plumbing needs, small or large, I would highly recommend Vets4You Plumbing.

The team (two technicians- Tim and Mel) were from the start - professional, organized and extremely polite. They went to work immediately, explaining to me what they were doing and why The leak was diagnosed and I was shown a picture of the garbage disposal leaking water. Immediately a new unit was ordered, it would be delivered in about 20 minutes and they went out to their truck to wait for the arrival and make notes re: the job. The installation was flawless and after a total clean up of the area they left in the same professional manner as they arrived.

I’ve used Vets 4 You in the past and they never disappoint. Thank you Jim and Keith for holding to your professional standards.

I was told by another plumbing company that I had two problems: 1. with my under the house pipes and 2. with the sewer line from the house to the city sewer line in the alley. Their cost would have been about $35,000. I called Vets 4 You to get a second opinion. Their rep came out with another guy who re-scoped the sewer line. I told the rep that I want the pipes replaced under the house and the sewer line repaired. That I had an insurance policy with SLWA Insurance Services to cover the sewer repair. (Another story.) Also the bathroom sink replaced along with three faucets. I was told that the cost could be about $20,000.
I initiated the loan through them for $20,000. This was done in early September. On 15 Sep 23, Keith, a Midwesterner vet and co-owner, came to tell me that the cost would be an additional $25,000 for a total of $45,000. This was more than 3 business days after I signed the first contract. I expressed doubts but said OK. My error.
I had gone out and purchased a new bathroom sink and new faucet on the advice and measurements of the rep. Also new faucets for the kitchen sink and garage sink. They agreed to install everything while I was out of the country.
When I returned, I found the bathroom cabinet had been pulled away from the wall about two inches and unsecured with the new sink. I would have thought that when they found the new sink not suitable to the cabinet, the techs would have called the job supervisor and stopped with the installation. Keith came out once to look for a solution, said that he or someone would be out to help return the sink and get a proper size sink and re-secure the cabinet to the wall. Never happened.
What happened was Robbie came out and secured the cabinet with a couple planks and caulk but leaving the 2 inch distance from the wall on the side and inside bottom. Keith suggested putting up some waist coating. I agreed since their drywallers would not make the cabinet right. I got a neighbor to repair the sides with some planking I had in the garage.
I got the bill for the sewer job for $24,237.90. Which is less by $762.10 from the $25,000 loan I took out and still must pay on top of the original $20,000 loan for a total of $45,000.
There was a leak in the kitchen from the garbage disposal and CJ was sent to fix it. Vets 4 You wanted a certain amount of money as a down payment before doing the job. I said that they still had $762.10 of my money. Why do I have to pay even more?
Also CJ and I talked about the incomplete job that was to have done in the garage so the drywallers could finish and not have to turn the water off to the whole house. CJ immediately realized what had to be done and called the shop to have the pipe parts ordered. CJ ended up spending 20 minutes at Home Depot searching for the parts which he installed after installing a new disposal I had bought.
Keith had come by around this time and I showed him that there was a $762.10 discrepancy from their bill and loan I have to pay. "Oh." was the response. Repeated near daily texts to him has not solved the problem.
I am not saying there was a deliberate bait and switch between the first rep and Keith but to make a $25,000 addition to the total cost means that the rep was not qualified to make the first estimate.
I should have ended the projected and gone with the first company.

Each person we interacted with, from the receptionist to the sales person to the two plumbers, was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The plumbers worked so hard all day on the water heater and were very friendly and helpful. And I love that the organization supports veterans. Highly recommended!

Very professional and friendly company. Our AC stopped cooling in recent heat wave. We live in a mobile home with poor insulation. Vets For You was super busy but sent out one of the owners Jim right away. He tested the system and explained in detail the HVAC operation and then gave us 3 options for fixing it, none of which could be done on the spot due to parts needed. The price was competitive with other quotes plus a 10% senior discount and we got a $600 federal tax credit. They fit us into their schedule with 2 very well-mannered techs working all day as the replacement job was complicated. There was a problem with the new thermostat so Jim extended our service contract because of the delay in completing the work...wow! Skilled technicians and honest people.

This place is a total scam , they used to be Yogis plumbing and ever since this company bought them, the prices doubled and the service has gone completely down hill. I had them come out to fix my shower. I provided the part, Theo installed that part and the water still wouldn't get hot, he told me that we need to replace the entire valve behind the tile. I said let me think about it. He said you owe $425...for 1 hour of work and the shower still not getting hot and I provided the part, $425 for just labor for 1 hour... I told him I would pay the bill only if that $425 could be used toward the total bill when they come fix the whole thing, Theo said yes, we can credit you that toward the bill. Fast forward 2 weeks, I just received the bill to fix the whole thing and they said I had to sign on the spot in order to get that discount. That's not what Theo said that day...What a bait and switch company, please don't now use this company, STAY AWAY, they will charge you double, not complete the work and will not stand behind their word....worst plumber in San Diego by far!!!

FYI...got a response from the owner that some of this is not accurate, correct, in order for Theo to install the part I provided, he didn't have the right tool to install it and I had to provide my tool for him to fix it, high quality of service when he was going to rescheduled the service call because he doesn't have the right tools.... find a true plumbing company that comes prepared to each and every job, Vets for You is not it

I love how professional, responsive, and honest this company is. We were about to leave town and our water pressure regulator started spraying water. They came out the same day, replaced the regulator, and solved our water pressure issue we had been having. Theo and Tim were so respectful, professional and completed the work in a timely manner. I highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs!

Eric was great! He came to our buildings to give a second opinion on a clogged drain. Another company worked on it for two days with no results and then said it would take $6,000 worth of work to repair.

Eric came quickly, assessed the situation and cleared the drain within 30 minutes with no issues. He also put the toilets back on, which were removed by the previous company. Highly recommend!

From the first contact with this company they were entirely professional and very easy to get service. Julie was wonderful to deal with and very accommodating. James Dean (plumber) was professional and polite. He explained each of the options thoroughly. He did the job very fast but made sure to test to make sure that it was done correctly. The price was also reasonable. I am definitely going to use them again.

This company bought out a plumbing company I had used for many years so I figured I would give them a try. The first plumber they sent over was not really my style. He pushed for replace rather than repair which would cost me more and is not as good ecologically but is less liability and work for them. Since my problems were relatively minor, to the point that I can just get a handyman friend help me do it myself, I declined the recommendation of all new equipment. I did schedule them to replace some corroded valves they had found while at my house. For the actual work they sent a different plumber. His name is CJ. I recommend him. Professional and knowledgeable. He made suggestions for services I might need but it felt informative, not like a hard sales push. I was comfortable with the price and the work done. You just have to watch out because the first guy they send is more salesman than plumber.
