As usual, polite, friendly and PROFESSIONAL service. Frank spent an hour or so walking my property as I explained the electrical and plumbing work I needed. Frank took notes and explained the extent of the work, potential issues that may arise and made several cost savings suggestions as options. In the end, I'm inclined to do exactly what is recommended b/c I want my home wired to code and professionaly accomplished. I know that's the end result when I use Northstar. After trying two other local HVAC/Plumbing contractors, Northstar is the only business I'll use and since they recently added electrical service, I now have an electrician I can trust to do the right thing to ensure my electrical work is done as professionally as my plumbing and HVAC work. Andrew Ramos fixed my thermostat. Last summer I had a heating company come and fix my thermostat. They told me I needed a new one. I couldn't afford it so I declined. Andrew solved the problem for me. He is a person of excellent character. He demonstrates high ability and shows compassion for customers. I trust him.

I've had the concierge service with Northstar for a number of years. Well worth it for all my plumbing and heating issues in Big Bear. I have come to expect excellent service and both Valerie G. and Rob G. didn't disappoint. Valerie updated me when to expect Rob and gave me his name so I could look out for him. Rob was right on time, checked the system, gave me a verbal report on the furnace and made a couple of recommendations for improving insulation. Great interaction; specially since he found nothing wrong.

This company is absolutely ridiculous. I would give zero stars if I could. They came out to give an estimate for a furnace at a rental property. They charged a service fee, which is fine but absolutely refused to give me a written estimate or an email estimate unless I paid $350!?!!? Chris G, the tech, even refused to text me the cost!! I have never had a company tell me that the only estimate they could give is a verbal one. I had 3 other companies come (free of charge) and every single one of them sent over an emailed estimate of cost as well as pictures and descriptions of what they found. I live out of state from the rental property and have to handle everything virtually. A verbal only estimate is absolutely unacceptable and quite frankly seems shady. Don't bother with these people, there are plenty of honest companies to work with

Edward came to do my yearly service on my furnace. Very personable and polite. As he was going through the process he explained what he was doing. He even went to the trouble to go out and buy the correct furnace filter. The one I bought was not the right one. My returns were not in the best of shape and suggested I have them cleaned out. This I will do in the near future.

We needed service asap because of a sewer back up at our part time home. Northstar was the only company (of several we called) to have a real person answer the phone and help expedite the service call. Very good service indeed and the plumber, Adolfo, who arrived was determined to resolve the sewer clog even though it took a good while and several approaches to accomplish.

My heater broke this winter. Northstar Plumbing & Heating are Fast, Responsive…scheduled me on the same day. Dough my tech was professional, knowledgeable and very helpful. I could not be happier with the service. I signed up for the maintenance plan, which was very Affordable ! Now I have peace of mind & my heater is back on running great!

Andrew from Northstar Plumbing and Heating did an outstanding job servicing both my heater and A/C unit. He was professional throughout the entire visit, and took the time to explain what he was doing in a way that was easy to understand. You can tell he really knows his craft. He worked efficiently, checked every detail, and made sure everything was running smoothly before he left. It’s rare to find someone who takes pride in their work like that. I highly recommend Andrew.

Andrew is absolutely amazing. He's come by a couple times and is so attentive and informative. He took a look at my broken disposal, shower, and did a full heater maintenance. Gave me in depth explanations on how my heater works and what issues could be keeping it from running at its full potential. He gave me recommendations for disposals and generators, and wrote up quotes for fixes and heater duct cleaning. He's punctual and so very caring! Will definitely be sticking with Northstar living in my mountain home. They're very reliable!

It was Saturday morning at 10:00 AM, and the toilet in our Master Bathroom of our Big Bear Home stopped working. To my surprise Northstar Plumbing was able to send Adolfo to us and he arrived around 11:00 AM. It was an old toilet so we decided to replace the toilet instead of removing the toilet, snaking the drain and then replacing the toilet. Adolfo the service tech was polite and knowledgeable, so we decided to have him replace the old toilet the in the powder room and the old faucet in the kitchen sink.

Adolfo was professional, worked cleanly and efficiently. I will not tell you that Northstar Plumbing is the least expensive plumbers, but they showed up on time, stuck to their quoted charges and finished as promised. Overall it was a good, but expensive experience. I will work with Adolfo again regarding our replacing our 30 year old water heater. I recommend Adolfo.

Daniel fixed the gas valve in the heating unit and honored the original contract of fully working heating unit from a heating unit upgraded work just over a month ago at no additional parts or labor cost. He did have to confirm that with another tech but it got resolved. I would give Daniel a 5-star for his quick ability to assess the situation and fix the issue.

Mom insisted we replace the old furnace, so the Central Furnace replacement team came through. They were fast, professional, and even tested the system thoroughly. I feel relieved knowing the house will stay warm this winter

The installation crew (Aldo, Oscar, Will & Carl), were professional, and courteous, while providing quality craftmanship services. They kept me informed on the status of their work. Received a quote from Anthony for a full AC and furnace change. He was very polite and explained to us everything that needed done. A very detailed quote was sent. Not the cheapest but not the most expensive. Job was done by the beginning of next week. Crew was very polite. Only issue was cleaning after the project. There was some messed left. Anthony came and did a final walkthrough and easily fixed the next day! Installation, HERS and city inspection all done within the week. Awesome customer service!! Highly recommend!

I recently had Diamond Air out for maintenance on my HVAC. I was very impressed with their customer service. They were able to get me an appointment quickly and the technician arrived on time. Mac Apocada was very professional, attentive and friendly. He took the time to explain in detail his process and I feel much more educated now about HVAC units and Nest thermostats. Mac provided excellent service and I will definitely hire Diamond Air again for all my future needs.

I called Diamond when our house had an issue with heating. They scheduled Mac to come over within 48 hours to get our system assessed. While here, he gave us information on our system, explained what he thought might be wrong and even did maintenance on our AC so we’d be set for the summer. When we realized we were still having the problem after he left that day, he came right back the next day with more ideas and suggestions and fixed it. I never felt like I was being upsold anything, the whole organization was prompt and Mac was very friendly and honest. They assured me they had our information on file and I will definitely call them the next time we have an issue!

I called Diamond Air for maintenance on my air conditioning unit and they sent a technician named Baran who was very professional and on time. Highly recommend and reasonably priced.

I would highly recommend Diamond Air. They were on time, professional yet friendly. They came in focused on their job and worked so well together. They got my install done in a timely manner. They even had a truck pick up my old AC unit and removed it by 10:30am which I was happy about. We had 4 hard working technicians here and their boss even stopped in to see if his crew needed anything which they did not because they were prepared and had everything they needed. All 4 technicians were very courteous and thoughtful about taking extra precautions to keep my property inside and out very clean. They tested my air and heat before leaving and made sure I was satisfied which I was extremely satisfied. I’m going to refer Diamond Air to all my family and friends, that’s how much I liked their service.
