Bret and his crew replaced our entire HVAC system in May and we are very happy about the decision. They are very knowledgeable about what they do, not much selling unlike a lot other vendors we interviewed, they were really trying all they can to get the best options and deals for you. Bret lead the very efficient crew and completed the project in just 3 days and they were able to get all the rebates as promised. I would highly recommend the company and we are proud to have a local vendor with such high quality of service.

His advice was factual and probably best for the whole situation, especially over the long run.
Yet, all considered he repaired and maintained rather than replaced the system.
He did advise a longer term approach at a higher cost ,,, at a cost that was Less Expensive than other quotes, estimates or proposals.
His work was excellent and it allows me time to budget for the major work down the road.
Without question,, he will get all of my future work including the major work we discussed.
I will provide my highest recommendations to all my friends and neighbors.
I get tired of hearing warnings about "bad guys".,,,

We recently had our furnace replaced by Arts Heating and Cooling Company. We were referred to the company by a family member. Recently had Arts heating and cooling come out to do a check up on my furnace and air conditioner. I am a new homeowner and looked at many reviews in the tri-valley area and I must admit all his reviews which are a lot are five star! I changed out my 30 year old furnace with a heat pump. Not only was the price the most competitive, but Art's heating and cooling were absolutely fantastic to work in terms of customer support and addressing follow ups.

The county inspector came and Art's showed up a full hour before and waited outside until the inspector showed up. The inspector told me that most vendors don't even show up and he really appreciated the quality of their work.

I also had some additional follow up things they were pretty big "asks" i made of them and even when it incurred more costs to them and was "not their fault", they went out of their way to accommodate and make sure we were happy.

Couldn't endorse more wholeheartedly from my experience.

The team members are fantastic. They had our AC and heater system installed in one day and luckily it was the day before the temperature climbed to 110F!

The installing technicians, Fernando and José, worked almost nonstop and were professional, articulate, knowledgeable and accommodating.

David returned for a followup to make sure everything was satisfactory. The company responded to our questions the same day.

I had a problem with the heating part of an AC unit in a rental property. I was already paying monthly for the expensive replacement of the AC part. I contacted the same company that replaced the AC part. They estimated $2000 to repair and $4000 to replace the heating unit. It seems that many companies always push for a complete replacement. I was so happy that i found Arts Heating and Cooling. They do repairs!!! David had the igniter part on his truck and replaced it for less that $400.
If you have a heating or cooling problem you should call Arts Heating and Cooling first. Ask for David and save yourself a lot of money !!!

And even though i messed up the contact info for the rental property Art's office staff are the niciest people to work with. Five stars is not enough.

I filled out an online service request form on Art's Heating and Cooling website late on a Sunday night. I received a call early Monday morning from Selena. Right off the bat, she was extremely kind, professional and thorough and I was pleased with my initial contact. She had a same day appointment to check out my furnace. Of course my intermittently working furnace worked perfectly normal on the day that David arrived. Before his arrival I received a text with his picture and it stated he was on his way. Needless to say, my working furnace made it impossible to complete a diagnosis with no error codes, etc. showing in the display. He still took his time to look at as many aspects as he could and give me some guidance for future replacement or necessary repairs. Although I wish my furnace was in working order, I am thrilled to have found Art's Heating & Cooling. It is a rarity to find so many employees that are proud of their work and honest. I will definitely call them again if the need arises. There is a reason this company has EXCELLENT reviews!

Had a problem with my AC and contacted them in the morning. Art showed up around 3:20 pm and fixed a bowl fuse and loose wire. In 15 min the AC was up and running. Total service charge was also very Good compared to the last AC tech that I used about two months ago. Great service and great value. Will definitely use them in the future.

I was genuinely surprised (in the best way) to find out that Art himself came out for my service call. Instead of trying to upsell me or push unnecessary repairs, he walked me through every part of my HVAC system and explained things clearly and factually. Art came out last minute, hooked me up and got my system running in 10 minutes on a 90 degree day! Before he was done writing me up, the house was already cool! I highly recommend this company! Fast, honest and was extra concerned that I understand what he was doing so I felt comfortable!!! Also, he’s really knowledgeable.
