I wish I could give 10 stars. Being a single woman can be daunting when dealing with issues related to these types of repairs. I first dealt with a big name company, lies and incredibly high pressure sales techniques. I decided to get a second opinion and called Arts. First the ladies in the office are gems! Professional, friendly, understanding and knowledgeable. What a breath of fresh air! Eric was my technician. They need to clone this young man. He arrived on time and actually had me up on the roof with him! I was sold! He pointed everything out explained everything and was probably one of the most genuine repair technicians I have ever worked with. He had my air up and running in less than an hour with a bill that was more than reasonable. I will never call another company again! Customer for life. Thank you all so much. 🫶🏼

Art's team has been fantastic to work with. Extremely responsive, quick to follow up, thorough with their work and diagnostic. David is honest, doesn't try to over sell, takes time to explain details and answer questions. It's also nice to see David invested in training his team by using troubleshooting cases as learning experience for more junior members.

Highly recommend. Price was near the middle of the quote we received, but we thought it was worthwhile to work with their team over all the others. We got a new heat pump cooling and heating system. With our solar panels, it made a lot of sense. The new Bosch system is remarkably quiet and much more effective/efficient than our old system. We're very happy with the service and support the team provides.

David is very knowledgeable, professional & friendly. The checkup was thorough. David also provided a few pointers about how the system operates and how to maintain maximum efficiency. Will definitely be using Art’s for any future work, highly recommended.

Art’s installed an HVAC system in our house a few months back. We had a problem show up late Friday. I called them about 10 Saturday morning and the technician was here by noon and the problem was resolved by 1:30. I can’t say enough positives about the service and response I received from Art’s. They responded quickly and solved the problem, which turned out to be covered under warranty. I trust them implicitly and would rate them 10 out of 10. I’ve dealt with other companies in the past that I didn’t think were honest. Art’s has been my HVAC service for about 6 or 7 years now and I feel completely comfortable with their service and reliability. They have shown me they’re worthy of my trust.

I scheduled a tune up for my A/C and when David from Art’s Heating & Cooling arrived he shared that they are not a dealer for the brand I have (Carrier) and ultimately did not perform the service. So why the 5 star review? David was completely transparent about the process as it related to my brand and could definitely tune it up if I wanted to do so. However, he put himself in my shoes and encouraged me to establish a relationship with a Carrier dealer for tune ups so that in the event I needed more than a tune up, it would be a simple and straightforward process. I appreciated his honesty, he didn’t charge for the visit and even did a temperature check on my system. That’s how you win customers.

Rick is great! Knowledgeable, professional and great to work with. The furnace posed some repair challenges. Rick hung in there and completed the repair. A pleasure to work with him! Thank you!

Made an appointment online. Technician called me to ask if it was ok to arrive early - sure! He promptly diagnosed and resolved the problem, and then spent the time to explain what was going on with my A/C and how to extend the life of my system. Great service! I would definitely use them again.

Ric the technician was ontime, friendly, knowledgeable, and was quick to resolve our issue. With temperatures reaching 95 plus it was a blessing to get on schedule the next day and have our AC up and running again. Bethany in the office was so helpful in scheduling our appointment and getting the necessary documents in a timely matter to add them to our vendor list. With running an apartment community (Vercanta Pleasanton) we have many tasks but this was a cool breeze working with the team from Art's Heating and Cooling. 10/10!

David is very nice and came by, showed me how to clean flame sensor, and said inspection all checked out. Nothing to do except keep air filter clean and make sure flame burns evenly, no water leak. Thank you David!

Art’s Heating and Cooling was referred to me when I was getting quotes to replace our HVAC. As I read through the Yelp reviews, I give them a call because they are a local independent business with a number of positive reviews.

He listened to our concerns regarding the existing system and thoroughly assessed our system. He explained the benefits we’d see of a new system and indicated the design flaws with the existing system. He noted what he could do to solve the some of the issues but the overall design was a limitation. Since we recently purchased our house, a remodel and system redesign, was not in our budget.

David didn’t try to upsell the higher end models and wanted to address our concerns with a reasonable solution. In the end, I am very pleased with the new system and I genuinely felt like David cared about making sure my family was comfortable and within our budget.

David is a great guy! He answers his own phone, shows up on time, knows his business, explained everything he was doing, and charged a very fair price to replace both units.

The whole experience really couldn't have gone any better. His crew installed both units in one day, were meticulously detailed, and clean. I will definitely be calling them again if I ever need more HVAC help. I highly recommend Art’s Heating and Cooling!

We were having AC issues. It was hot outside. I contacted Art's Heating and Cooling. They were on our property in less than 24 hours contacting them. Turns out we were having issues with our compressors. David could not be more kind, congenial, and intelligent in accessing the situation. Not only did he show up on time, but was able to get two ACs to work flawlessly in less than an hour. There is a reason why these guys have such a high rating. Just blessed that we have them in our community.

This is a follow-up review: There was an additional issue with my AC. Art came out very quickly (I detected the issue on Saturday and Art came out on Monday). He diagnosed the issue and identified the part that needed to be replaced. He said that the part could take up to 2 weeks to arrive (if it was available for a 30+ year old system). Art arrived this morning and after struggling with the rusted old motor, managed to replace it and the system is working again.
I will, of course, use Art's Heating and Cooling for an future AC needs. I will also strongly recommend Art's to anyone seeking a reliable AC company

Art's service was impeccable. The technician that came to fix the system was knowledgeable, efficient and friendly.
He explained what the problem was and what the repair options were.
The price was reasonable and I will definitely use Art's again for all of my A/C needs and will recommend Art's to anyone looking for a professional and efficient AC service

It’s rare to find a company with 5 stars review, especially with the amount of reviews.

Selina scheduled our appointment and Jose showed up for our appointment. Jose did a thorough diagnostic check and explained every step of the way. He even hardwired the thermostat and the ac started working. It showed me us that our Honeywell thermostat indeed broke.

A week+ later we no longer had cold air. Only the fan would turn on. David showed up and I said is this really a coincidence and David helped me better understand the airflow and zones (we have a 3 story house) that our ac unit was not big enough for our house size. The capacitor was broken and needed to be replaced. A complete separate issue. Luckily it wasn’t the compressor.

David, Jose and Selina provided top notch customer service and quality. Highly recommend this company!

Our assigned technician, David, was excellent. He arrived early and was very thorough and efficient in diagnosing and correcting our issue. He was friendly and professional. Ric came out to diagnose an issue with my two zone HVAC heating. The heating was running downstairs but not upstairs.

After some thorough detective work Ric isolated the issue to wiring between the furnace and the upstairs thermostat. He wasn't able to replace the wiring at the time because it was a two man job.

We scheduled another appointment and a few days later Ric and Jose came to finish the job. Problem solved!

In addition to that Ric connected up the c wire for both thermostats - something the original HVAC installer had not done, more the installer of the smart thermostats (neither of which jobs were done by Art). Finally my thermostats get constant power and aren't draining batteries every few weeks.

Super happy with the work by Ric and Jose and highly recommend Arts.

Art’s finished an install by taking care of all inspector issues. Great employee team of Jose and Julian visited again after their install work. Both a credit to the company. Very professional, polite and considerate.

Great quality service and products, had critters in my attic that ate through my ducting, they replaced the whole thing for less than anyone else in the valley and have stopped by twice a year double checking their work.
