In the end I was disappointed with the quality of service. After receiving the bill for the replacement of my quitecool house system, I called the manufacturer because the system has a 10yr warranty. I am not the original purchaser so the warranty would not extend to me. I ended up calling the company myself and learned that the switch will go out and only has a 1yr warranty. The tech advised me to replace the switch and provided me the part number and some electricians that could do the work, if I was uncomfortable doing it myself. I ended up buying the part from grainger the same day, replaced it myself and the system worked. Metz quoted me 2700 to replace the unit and switch, which thinking back was odd the tech mentioned replacing the unit and switch. This is my opinion, but I do believe that if the switches are a common issue, an experienced tech would know this. It does make me feel that they were trying to rip me off by replacing more than I needed or even going as far as only fixing the switch and charging me for everything. I hope this is not the case. This was my experience, but I so believe in the old saying, "Trust, but verify." If I hadn't done some leg work, I would have been out thousands. Metz, if you read this, you lost out on any future work.

Metz has serviced our hvac/heat pump system since 2023. We have been pleased and satisfied with their work, their office staff and technicians. We commend Cris Dulay, who has serviced us twice, for his knowledge of the product and thoroughness of work. He was patient in explaining to us "seniors" the issues pertaining to our system and also proposed recommendations.

We just had our Fall/Winter checkup with Metz, who installed our HVAC system, in August 2019. We have done our semi-annual checkups, since we have had the System. We are very happy with Metz and their organization and we're extremely happy to have Cris Dulay, who did our Spring/Summer 2025 checkup, back to do our checkup today. I can't say enough about Cris. Cris is an exceptional technician, who is very professional, extremely knowledgeable, honest, respectful, personable, thorough, a great listener and takes the time to explain the process he will follow with the checkup. During our checkup Cris identified an issue with the furnace inducer, which is supposed to circulate the heat evenly through the system. After Cris showed us and explained how the inducer should work and why our inducer wasn't doing the job it should be doing, we made the decision, to increase the longevity of the system, to have the part replaced. The HVAC unit was expensive and like a house, car, roof, plumbing, etc., preventive maintenance is important to get the maximum longevity from your investment. Bottom line, Cris showed his care for us, as the Metz customer and for the maximum longevity of our HVAC unit. I'm 76 years old and over the years I have experienced exceptional Customer Service and the Customer Service and care that Cris and Metz provide are at the top of my list. Metz is a local family owned business, which is why I initially chose them and because of employees like Cris and David, in the office, I not only plan to stay with Metz, but the best compliment I can give them is that three of my neighbors, based on my recommendation, also do business with Metz. Had annual A/C maintenance check today. Van is the technician who typically provides the service to me and he is always extremely friendly and professional, even while providing service during the heavy rain today. I call Direct AC on Monday to order a 3 ton condenser unit that I got a price on several months ago. I spoke with Jeff who had replaced my other unit last year. He told me he would honor the price he gave me months ago and could have it in the following day. Jeff and Van showed up at the time they told me they would be here. Both were very informative and professional. The work was done in a timely manner. I will definitely call them back for any of my heating and air conditioning needs.

Chris from Direct AC was a pleasure to work with. He has a plethora of knowledge in everything HVAC related. Our air conditioning went out in the middle of summer, 100+ degree weather, a time many AC units go out keeping companies too busy to service their customers promptly.
My husband happened to have a business card for DIRECT AC that he had received a while back from a friend who spoke highly of Chris; so my husband decided to call and give them a try. Chris was able to get to us right away and had it back up and running in no time. We will not be using anyone else from now on. Highly recommend !

I was having multiple problems with my heater. It would make cracking sounds, hissing sounds and wouldn't turn on for a long time often. Geno Luna and Chris came over to the apartment and fixed all the issues very carefully and made sure it was working safely. Very nice guys and they knew teamwork! Excellent service!! I felt like i was in a five star hotel and they were managers personally addressing my experience.

Van, arrived at my home on time bringing his own tools. He made review of my roof mounted Heating and AC unit. He was very professional in his method of work and appearance. He cleaned up and provided a list of work that should be done in the near future. I would recommend this professional to my friends.
