This company is the real deal when it comes to professionalism. My condenser stopped turning on with my thermostat, was in the 90s in my house and I have a 1 year old who is burning up. I called a 1st a/c guy and he was telling me it was a motherboard issue, took the unit apart and left to do other calls. I was so pissed that he didn't finish (told me he would "get back with a time and date"), I called Modern Comfort and Air. Right away the tech was on it. Courteous and responsive, he looked at the issue, figured out what the real issue was, and stayed till the problem was fixed. This is what we should expect out of our service companies. They have my business as long as the are in business, give them a try, and you'll feel the same.

Armando from Modern Comfort and Air recently replaced 3 ton AC system at most competetive rate at scheduled time. He explained options for replacement. He also took care of one post install issue due to clog in connected sink pipe very promptly, which is not related to original install.

We had an ac unit in our building stop working, and needed an emergency repair. Armando was able to come out and diagnose the issue promptly. He discovered that the previous ac company never installed a filter, and replaced the capacitor/cleaned the coils. He was very honest and fair, and while it may not be the cheapest option out there, he knows what he is doing and will get everything up and running as soon as possible. He also was able to accommodate our schedule, and come out earlier to fix our system. Highly recommend this company to anyone in the area.

I called this company and I was very surprised that they answered right away and set up the appointment for the next day, once we agreed to proceed with the work, he was able to get me in his schedule and fix the AC unit, I was very pleased with his reasonable price and satisfied with his high level of customer service and work ethic. I usually don’t recommend technicians now a days, but Armando went above and beyond and I highly recommend him and his team. And I will hire him and his team from this point forward for all my HVAC needs.

A few fays ago our AC went out. The company I originally called quoted me almost $3400 to replace a fan, capacitor and some other $40 part. I called modern air and he came down and replaced the capacitor for a tiny fraction of the price the other quoted me. He did tell me I would eventally need to replace the fan but he got us up and running. He also gave my AC a much needed bath. I HIGHLY recomend this company. Much earned 5 stars, thank you!
