So I had additional work done to my system. Mr. Todd returned to do additional cleaning and upgrades to my system. He and Mr. Isaiah Arteaga came in and cleaned out my ducts and installed equipment to the system. I went with the whole house filtration system and upgraded the outside unit. Hello there. Just had a tune up on the system getting ready for summer. Bryan came today and serviced the system. He had a few recommendations to insure that we are getting the most out of our system. It’s a manufactured home and it’s kind of important to have the best available equipment. We added an inside surge protection system and a uv light system to the unit. Also made an adjustment on the thermostat with the fan. Bryan is very knowledgeable and an excellent technician. Excellent experience with RKM, specifically Jay, Jason, and Jesus. RKM installed our system almost 10 years ago and we've had zero issues with it. We recently had a clogged drain from the furnace and Jay was meticulous in identifying the issue and providing several options to remedy the situation. A/C system maintenance should be a routine, simple thing but with my past company, it used to be so complicated it gave me a headache. Or maybe it was just a way to get more money. But the guys who came over, Gustavo and Miguel, made my reluctance to contact someone nearly disappear.

Service was really great. Brian was very thorough when checking our water heater and ac units. My husband was unavailable so he explained everything to me with lots of patience and in great detail so can I can understand. I also appreciate all of the pricing options I was offered for upcoming needed repairs.

The service was excellent! Emmanuel was very thorough when inspecting my water heater and AC unit. Since I had no idea of how any of this functions, I was so glad he took the time to explain everything to me patiently and in great detail so I could fully understand. I requested a cost estimate from RKM Heating and Cooling to replace my existing air ducts and install a larger supply plenum (air box). RKM sent an experienced technician out to review my existing HVAC system. He spent a good amount of time with me while inspecting my furnace, AC unit, plenum, filtration, and size plus number of air ducts. He also measured the rooms to calculate the volume of my home. He made recommendations and provided me with a reasonable cost breakdown.

Based on the volume of my home, RKM sized and installed larger air ducts and added an additional air duct run. They also removed and installed a larger supply plenum (a few years ago I had another contractor replace my furnace and AC unit but they left the undersized plenum in place). Additionally, I had RKM add a larger filter system in place of my 1-inch filter.

As a licensed engineer I would say the installation technicians were very experienced and did a professional job regarding care to detail and installation. The job was also completed in the number of working days stated.

I am happy with the results and the air flow throughout my whole house is much better. I would use RKM in the future if needed.
