This building department is the worst I have ever dealt with. If I can actually get through to someone, I get referred to or transferred to someone else whose mailbox is usually full so I can not leave a message. A simple basic residential permit is taking over 6 weeks to get issued. Ridiculous! And if you don't attempt to reach someone to ask for a status check, the permit application will sit in limbo for God knows how long. I just don't understand why other building departments are able to issue within a week. This place is a joke. If I could I would give ZERO STARS! THE ABSOLUTE WORST OF THE WORST! I could go on and on and on and on.....

Still trying to get a permit after almost 2 months. Any little comment or change needing to be made will cause your permit to go to the back of the line again. Comments are ridiculous like, "you will need a different kind of pool permit since this is an apartment complex." NO it isn't, it is and has always been a single family home. Very frustrating. Nobody calls back or address voice mail messages. I dread applying for pool permits in Sac County.

I contacted the Sacramento County Building Inspection office at 827 7th Street to confirm that all previous permits for my property had been finalized—a standard request for any homeowner.

Unfortunately, the representative I spoke with, Amaria, was either poorly trained or completely indifferent to the department's own processes. She initially told me the information must be requested online. When I pressed for clarification, she then suggested I call a different department to request the info, but when I asked for that contact information, she claimed there was none available.

It is incredibly disappointing to call a 'General Line' for guidance only to be met with circular, contradictory information. If you are looking for clear answers regarding permit history, be prepared for a runaround if you end up speaking with her. The department needs to provide better training on their own internal workflows.

This company is so bad! It doesn't provide janitorial supplies. I know first hand from a good source. The company is on a "tight budget." It pressures janitors to give optimal results with practically water, a bucket and a few rags that are to last forever. This is the reason why germs are spread and so many people get sick. Companies beware and make sure you are getting your money's worth. It isn't fair that janitors have to bring own cleaning supplies from home such as cleaning agents, rags mops, windex and so forth and so on. If you don't believe me keep an eye out. I would stay away from using microwaves. I wouldn't be surprise if the same rags that are used for bathrooms are used for kitchens and offices.

Was contacted about if we wanted to get new windows. A rep was able to come out and give a free estimate. TJ was very personable and made the initial estimate experience very enjoyable. It's always nice to meet another cat person.

Window and slider fully replaced! Installer Shawn did an absolutely fantastic job. We love the new window and slider! The temperature in the room has already visibly dropped since the window was replaced. 100% would use them again for any additional replacements!

Had another rep come out to look at some of our remaining windows and sliders. Great rep again, very personable. Got us all set up to get another window and slider done. Really looking forward to it as the ones we had them do already are still going strong and we are exceptionally happy with their work. Will update again when work is done!

Aj visited my house to speak to me about upgrading the windows on my home hes a really nice guy explained everything that I felt comfortable and understanding what I was investing in ….

Igor came out to determine why my patio cover was letting in the rain. He determined my gutters needed to be cleaned and hosed off the worst of the debris.

Today my Momma got her wish. Patio will nolonger be boring and bare.

I couldn't be more happy of the worked they performed, It was three Ukrainian gentlemen... They were top notch perfectionist. They installed 8 windows and a sliding glass door and it looks fabulous. I would recommend Cat Exteriors to anybody looking to replace there windows.

Jake came out! He explained to me the entire process showed me the products and was super respectful. Great serviceman helped me understand the entire financing process and got me squared away nicely.

Had good experience with the installation of my ac unit. Serge the installer was very helpful. I had a good experience with CAT Exteriors.

Had a great experience with Paul Crawford on the sales-side. He was patient and even came back out a second time, to help take accurate measurements and walk us through the financing. He didn't push us, and though we desperately needed new windows, he looked at phasing options to help with affordability. In the end, we're replacing them all, but I appreciated the time he took.

I hadn't realized the technology for windows had progressed so much. When AJ came out to show us how much of a difference these new windows would make to keeping the house cooler and lowering our electric bill I was hopeful. Well the company and windows have exceeded my expectations. Now I can sit in the dining room with the sun shining right on the windows and it's not hot! They installed them so quickly and well I was just floored! But the biggest surprise was the noise reduction. These windows block out a whole bunch of the noise. We have some neighbors across the street who like to throw parties with live mariachi bands and if we close the windows we can't hear them. It's awesome!
