I have been working with the owner Dan for many of my Residential and Commercial projects over the last few years. The company offers flexible payment plans and longterm zero interest financing. Dan consistently delivers projects on schedule and within the budget. With an A+ from the Better Business Bureau, this is a highly ethical company who will return to finish the job and quickly resolve problems throughout the process. The crews are professional, courteous, hardworking, neat and meticulous. Although not the cheapest, Dan delivers the best all-in value in the market place.

I recently had my flat deck repaired, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! From start to finish, the team went above and beyond in terms of customer service and communication. They kept me informed every step of the way, ensuring that I knew exactly what to expect.

Not only did they provide the most reasonable price out of all the quotes I received, but they were also upfront and honest about the cost and scope of the work. During the repair, they discovered that the deck was far more rotted than initially expected and identified additional work needed for my downstairs area. Despite this, they honored the original quote for the deck repair and provided a separate, reasonable quote for the downstairs repairs.

What truly amazed me was their integrity and commitment. They essentially gave me a whole new deck based on the original scope and handled all the necessary work for the downstairs bedroom. These guys are awesome and what a great company. I was in the process of getting my house repaired when we noticed a leak in the roof that was causing inner drywall damage inside the house. Ground Up was then recommended to me by my current contractor. I called them up and spoke with Dan. He came over that night, spoke with me about the price of options and even went on the roof to tarp up certain areas that were affected by leaks. I choose the option to get my whole entire roof repaired and completely redone. They gave me a nice discount figuring that I am military veteran. After signing the contract over, the job was set to be finished two weeks out. They called me back four days later and were able to start sooner. Once started Mr. Hunter and his crew came out and got to work. Job took them three days to finish and the work is awesome. Highly recommend this company to everyone. Thanks Ground Up.

We hired Ground Up Construction Management Inc. to replace our roof that was damaged by a fallen tree after Hillary came through last year. We had spoken to another company four months prior, but they never made time to schedule the work. Our longtime friends recommended Dan Stensberg and his crew at Ground Up Construction Management, Inc., after replacing their roof with wonderful results. Dan came out immediately to give us an estimate and scheduled the work to begin within five days! Hunter Stewart, Mario and their crew laid the waterproof barrier down just before another big storm hit the area. Received follow-up calls from the office to be sure that we were happy and dry in the house. Everything was completed as soon as the rain stopped. The roof is beautiful, and we couldn’t be more pleased with their work. Large debris was removed from the premises, and they took great care in locating any nails that fell to the ground with a magnet, and picked up smaller debris so that our new puppy wouldn’t be in danger. We also contracted Dan to paint the trim and install new seamless gutters. Once again, they did a fabulous job! They even found a way to make smart repairs that saved us time and money. Will be hiring them again soon to repair and paint the stucco, remove 50-year-old rock facing, and give our home an entirely new look. Dan built a retaining wall and fence for us. We liked his work so much, the following month, he hired him to sand blast, stucco, prime, and paint our home. Dan’s crew was professional and quick. It took a little longer than expected, because they uncovered a surprise, but it cost me no more money than budgeted. I would hire Dan again and have recommended him to many friends.

Ground Up Construction Management roofed my son's home and that is when I met Dan. My son was very happy with Dan's work so I asked Dan to give me a bid to replace my driveway which had been damaged by tree roots.
I requested the bid on Wednesday evening and our schedules worked for him to swing by and do the bid Friday morning. Dan came, did detailed measurements and was able to give a firm bid in about 45 minutes. We discussed what I wanted including a couple of different options. There was no pressure. His bid was clear, all questions were answered and the contract was written up.
The job started the following Thursday morning and was completed by Friday afternoon! The crew was outstanding, friendly and meticulous in every aspect of the project. Everything was left neat and clean.

Highly recommend these guys. Saw someone doing a quote next door to my house so I asked if he would quote me as well for a new roof. He was probably the 10th quote I got because prices were all over the place. Daniel was the person working with me. Immediately was easiest person to talk with about what I needed done. No pressure or upselling. Straightforward about everything. Had his guys on my roof within a week (who were also very pleasant). They cleaned each day after they finished. The job was completed in 3 days. Will definitely be working with them again.

My husband & I reached out to Century Stone, one of Ground Up Construction's companies, to have them refinish our covered patio & pool deck.
The previous installation was more of a 'painted' finish & did not hold up at all after just 2 years. We read Century Stone's reviews & had Dave Eaton visit us to review the property & give us a quote for their far superior installation system. Dave's communications were very clear, as was the proposal we received, and the written lifetime warranty is excellent.
We signed-up with Century Stone in November 2025 & purposefully scheduled the work after the holidays. Dave & his crew arrived on the agreed start date & time & got right to work. The whole job was supposed to take a week or so, but we had some threatening weather at the end of the first week. However, the crew returned first thing the following Monday & wrapped everything up that Wednesday.
Once again, Dave's communications were excellent: he answered all of our questions & kept us in the loop the entire time. His Foreman, Tomas, was excellent with his communications, as well, and Tomas is truly a 'Craftsman'. Century Stone's crew really know what they are doing & the constant attention to detail really impressed us.
We are extremely happy with the final installation & we highly recommend Century Stone for any concrete deck resurfacing project.
