Sunspired Solar installed a solar system in our home a year ago. I couldn't be happier with the overall installation process and techs. A week ago Sunspired Solar installed an EV charger and wired for an electric water heater. Again, I couldn't be happier with the installation and techs. I had two quotes for solar before going with Sunspired Solar. Other solar companies were going to charge me with a new power panel without verifying the amps. Sunspired was honest with their quotes and was willing to work with the customer. Their installers were professional and did a excellent job. If I had to choose again, it would be with Sunspired.

During the last 2 years I have been remodeling my 25 year old house. During this time, I worked with many many contractors. Seldom did I find a contractor who was as professional and quality oriented as my solar installer. So, I want to share his name with my neighbors. His name is Derrick Breaux and his company is Sunspired solar. Not only were they reasonably priced, they did not ask us to change our roof paper before the solar installation was done. Often, I feel, solar installers want to make additional profits on the roof work and encourage customers to get it done under one contracted price. Customers hope that they can get a tax discount on the whole amount. I think that may not be legal. This solar installer did not ask us to do that and provided a 15-year warranty against roof penetration.

Derrick and Sunspired did a large and complicated job for us. They jumped through many hoops to get the project approved despite some complicated geography in our yard. The panels and technology are excellent, and Derrick has continued to monitor our utility bills to ensure everything is working perfectly. We are saving hundreds of dollars per month and couldn't be happier. We recommend Sunspired to everyone, for both quality and customer service.

Little family company installed our whole house fan earlier this year. Love the fan so much and really enjoyed working with Derek and the team. So we hired them again to install an EV charging plug in the garage. There were a few challenges but Derek was super relaxed and helped us come up with solutions and a location for the plug and routed the line through the garage. The work is so clean and professional and having the plug right in the middle of the garage (on a post) gives us so much flexibility! We will definitely call this company again if we need future electrical/solar work.

Sunspired Solar just completed a roofing and solar project for me and I couldn't be happier with the results. From the start Derrick was very cost conscience. I don’t usually leave reviews, but Sunspired Solar seriously deserves this shout out.

I had them do three projects: spa install, electric panel upgrade, and solar with 24 panels plus a Tesla Powerwall 3. Every job was smooth, fast, and done right.

I found them through a coworker who had them do her roof. She wouldn’t stop raving about how great they were: she was right. Derrick (the owner) gave me the best quote: 15% better than the next best and 50% better than the worst, for the exact same equipment. No upselling, no pressure, just clear info so I could make the right call.

His foreman Dave, son Peyton, and wife Jessica (who runs the office) are all solid. They’re friendly, punctual, and on top of things.

I’m not someone who chooses a company just because it’s family-run, but in this case, it truly matters. They care. They listen. And they do excellent work. Bonus: they’re licensed roofers, so their warranty covers the whole job, not just the panels.

Bottom line: honest people, top-tier work, and real value. I’d hire them again without hesitation.

My experience with this company from start to finish was stress-free and extremely smooth. Derrick (the owner) is so easy to work with. Once we aligned on the requirements, Derrick sent me 3 proposals (w/o battery, w/ Tesla battery, w/ Enphase battery) explaining the pros/cons of each system in an email. The detailed email made my decision very easy. He explained me the overall installation process (which spans around 3 weeks including the approvals, inspection, etc.) and executed that to perfection. I never had to check with him on status to ensure if the installation process was on schedule which helped me focus on other aspects of the remodeling project. The prices he quoted me were most reasonable and included new 220V wiring into the garage and installation of my Tesla charger. I would have spent close to $1,000 if I chose to do it separately. All the higher quotes I had were w/o any of these freebies. The Solar is working great and I'm really happy customer :-).

We had 2 estimates from 2 roofing companies which are way different. So, we decided to get another estimate and it so happened that they were working on our neighbors roof and solar, so I asked for their contact. Derrick came right over and gave us an estimate and explained everything that they need to do. Anyway, we decided to hire them and we’re glad we did because they did an excellent job. They are very professional and knowledgeable of what they do. Derrick was generous enough to do an extra work without charge and their cost was fair and reasonable.
