Used Robs a year ago and he sent out two guys that were great, got the jobs done in good time at fair cost… so we went to Robs again a few weeks ago. This time Rob himself was on the job (he claims) - but never showed up and didn’t respond to calls or texts. We gave him the benefit of the doubt… two weeks later we rescheduled and he never showed again. Absolutely ghosted us. Never responded other than an emoji of “🇺🇸🦅”. Not sure what to make of that -political or unprofessional - but suffice it to say reliability is not there. After seeing other reviews it appears he has a pattern of doing this to a specific set of clients (search through them you’ll see what I mean). Very disappointing. Concerned that work done by his team “under warranty” is anything but legit and wont be covered if an issue emerges. Look elsewhere if you want work done without a hassle.

My husband found this business from a $25 off coupon. He called about a few outlets that weren't working and a lady told him over the phone that the minimum service fee is $200.

2 guys came and found the breaker switch appeared off but was not fully switched off, and nothing needed replacing. The work done was equivalent to a free estimate. The technician mentioned an hourly rate of less than $200 per hour, but did not know what to charge me. The technician contacted his supervisor and came back with a quote of $300. I told him the lady said $200 on the phone and he made a call to try to lower the price because even he admitted it was pricy for such a short time. He said he could only get it down to $250 and that I could call the owner to sort out the payment.

The lady who told my husband $200 calls me to collect the $250. First she denies that she ever said $200 and that it was always a $300 minimum. Then when I mention the $25 off coupon for the first time, she says they don't do coupons! When I tell her I'm staring right at it, she asks where I found it. I tell her it's in this month's local newsletter. She has a side conversation and then says the $250 was including the coupon...she didn't even know it existed until I told her!

I ended up paying $250 to end the senseless conversation and get them off my back. I filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau. Hard to find a company that cares less about its customers. The fact that they couldn't even hold true to a $25 coupon says it all.

The power in multiple areas of our house went out on a Friday afternoon (after hours of course). I spent all weekend trying to find an electrician but none answered their phones. On Monday I finally got in touch with someone and he stated he would be over the following day after work. This person never showed up and did not call, which left me back at square one again. Note, the power was off in my office and garage and kitchen. So my journey started all over again to find an electrician. I called several businesses and was again told it would be another week before someone could come out. I finally got in touch with Rob and I was pleasantly surprised when he said he could send someone out. Aaron, showed up within 30 minutes of my call, quickly assessed the problem, corrected the problem and was finished within one hour. He was very professional and informed us what was going on as he was trying to locate the problem. It should be noted that the internet was out during this time, which is my husband's life line and he was having a melt down because he couldn't communicate with his friends. (We are both senior citizens with disabilities.) Anyway, I highly recommend Rob's Electrical Services for any of your electrical needs. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Thanks again to Aaron and Rob, you guys are the best!!!

I felt real comfortable with Rob. From beginning to end, his communication was superb. He called the day before to confirm our appointment, showed up on time. If I need electrical work in the future, I’ll be calling Rob’s Electrical Services. Rob was the first to respond to my search on Angi, and even though I wasn’t expecting anybody to agree to do this work on a Sunday, Rob arrived as promised, 20 minutes after our phone call. Super friendly, super professional, and didn’t waste any time getting to work. Rob is a nice guy, hard worker, and a great story-teller to boot!

Rob’s Electrical Service was great! We moved to Jamul and needed some electrical work done. Rob was prompt and professional. He’s repaired outlets, recessed lighting and installed a ceiling fan. The fan is very large (68 inch). I asked for it to be installed in the center of the great room. He politely suggested a slightly different location, explaining that even though it’s not in the exact center of the room, it would be more esthetically pleasing. He was absolutely right! So glad we found Rob’s Electrical Service.

Rob and his team do outstanding work! As a military veteran I was happily surprised at the efficiency, cleanliness, and approach to getting the job done. I had a Tesla 30amp dedicated circuit installed, along with adding 2 GFI receptors and moving 2 other outlets. I was quoted a very fair price, and the work was completed within 4 hours as promised. You can count on Rob to complete all of your electrical needs.

My initial contact was with Maria who was friendly and asked helpful questions to initiate the Request for Service. She also clearly identified the subsequent contacts to expect. Next I was contacted by Chelsea (Dispatch). She was interested and caring about the problem being being experienced and would do all possible to get a Technician on site to assess soon as possible. Specific expectations were clearly defined. Both were pleasant, well informed and helpful.
The Service Tech (Joshua) arrived soon after and again was helpful on all levels and did a thorough troubleshoot and diagnosis of the Water Heater unit and the more suitable repair that being to replace the unit versus repair. It was clear the most efficient method was to follow-up with a close associate in the Plumbing Trade to effect the replacement. I am completely pleased and satisfied with the entire encounter with Point Loma Electric & Plumbing and will gladly recommend their services should the occasion arise.

Anthony Reyes and his partner did a great job at our house in point Loma. They had to create three new electrical outlets for security camera cameras, and they did a great job, I will use them again in the future for sure.

I will definitely be using Point Loma Electric-Pluming, Heating, and Air again in the future. When our kitchen sink backed up they were able to come out the same day to fix it for a very affordable price. Michael was friendly and very knowledgeable. He explained everything thoroughly and was able to fix the issue quickly. He even explained how to care for our older pipes properly so we could avoid future clogs. I would highly recommend using them if you are looking for a fair and knowledgeable plumbing service!

I’m truly impressed with the company, their crew and quality of work. I needed a couple of small electrical jobs done, and when Aaron came by within a day of me requesting a quote, he pointed out a sub panel that is now considered dangerous (I confirmed with a little research he is right), so I added upgrading that to the job. I got notified whenever a crew was on their way, including who was coming. They were always responsive to any questions I had. Gabe and Gilbert did the majority of the work, but at one time they had six guys here to get it all done in one day. All were friendly and professional. They did a good job of cleaning up. There were a couple items that needed to be followed up (a special breaker that needed to be ordered, and a sub to do drywall repair.) Within a week, Aaron came back to install the breaker, and while he was at it he found and fixed a wiring error that was causing my EV charger to work at less than full voltage.

I later needed plumbing work, and Michael came to clear a particularly difficult drain clog. I decided to have them fix the poorly done drains and had a great experience with Josh and Joel as they fixed a badly done drain and vent, added a p-trap to a laundry drain that had been leaking sewer gas into my garage for years, and while they were at it I added a whole house water filter which I'm really enjoying.

I got notified whenever a crew was on their way, including who was coming. They were always responsive to any questions I had. I can highly recommend them and they will be my go to from now on for electric, plumbing and HVAC.

Called again this week for a leaking toiler. I decided to just replace it, and Michael again handled it beautifully. We had the unusual problem of the new fixture being defective and leaking, and this is where you know you have a good contractor. He was there again the next day. Failing to find a way to fix it, he hauled it off for warranty replacement and had another new one in place within a few hours.

We installed a washer and dryer into our condo and were able to building this beautiful washer/dryer room. Omar completed our plumbing and venting system and did an excellent job! He was very thorough, accommodating and provided great updates throughout the project. We are so happy with the work. Everything is up to code and working perfectly. My only complaint was the communication, among the higher-ups of the company specifically the plumbing side communicating with the electrical side because they are two separate entities. But can’t thank Omar enough for all the work he did!

I'm very happy with my new heating and AC system. The installation was a breeze (for me) and the whole process was great. Got a fair price and I have no complaints.

Excellent job installing recessed lights in bedroom. I appreciated Lalo’s and Pedro’s attention to detail. Lalo’s advice and recommendations made the end result better than I hoped for. Left work area spotlessly clean. This is the second job they worked on for me. I highly recommend Point Loma Electric and Plumbing. The entire team is top notch.

Justin was on time and very professional and thorough. Paid 125.00 to diagnose my heating and air conditioning issues. No repairs done at this time.

Carlos was sent out to diagnosis the problem with my furnace thermostat this morning on short notice. The thermostat I had purchased was the wrong one. I found out I needed a digital battery back up thermostat for the proper operation of my floor furnace. He explained everything to me which I really appreciated and he had the proper thermostat on his truck which he installed. It works correctly for my floor furnace. I highly recommend Point Loma Electric, Plumbing, Heating & Air and most of all a very qualified technician, Carlos. I will use again in the future.

We have used Point Loma EPHA several times now to service our heating and A/C systems. Our technician, Carlos, was extremely helpful, identifying our system needs and helping us identify what needed immediate attention. Additionally, he was friendly and attentive to keeping our home clean during his visit.

AJ came out to do an inspection of my water heater. He’s very professional and gave me all of my options. He did not do the inspection due to the age of the heater. There was no service charge because of that. Appreciate that.

The team that came to install my chandelier were extremely professional, knowledgeable, neat and took the time to install perfectly. We are so grateful.
