Nick was a very cordial and professional craftsman. He took the time to give me a full demonstration of how my new thermostat worked and checked my filter at no extra charge. He was friendly, cheerful and absolutely delightful to work with! I highly recommend Nick for any of your electrical issues– I know I’ll be calling Point Loma for my future electrical projects!

Carlos and Shaun came out to diagnose my furnace not blowing any heat - they were polite, patient, and quickly got to work. A few minutes later everything was fixed and they walked me through how they got everything working again. In and out in 30 minutes. Highly recommend!

Great work. Better customer service. Thank you Greg, Frankie, Leo, Dulce, and Jared. My moms house had major panel to panel repairs needed, you took care of a lot of out of code wiring, and installed exterior ambient and motion activated lighting. I feel good knowing the electrical work is safe and the exterior is well lit for my mother. Thanks again!

David Sanchez of Point Loma Electic installed our new smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors. He was knowledgeable, professional and suppled wuick and efficient service. Our family highly recommends him for all their electrical services!

George Perez had the difficult task of upgrading my bathroom fixtures when new materials don't match old styles or devices. Went out of his way to make at work. Came out great and he was friendly and calm while dealing with the hassle.

I have no idea how this company has so many good reviews. I hired them in for a consultation for a new place that I recently bought however, the Electrician did not point out many other items that other companies did. He also lied to me saying that the work that they were going to be doing was going to take a whole day when in fact it would only be 2 to 3 hours. Definitely DO NOT recommend this company to anybody!

We had 3 outlets stop functioning. We called PLE. They came out the next day. David Sanchez was the technician. He found the issue and fixed it. David explained what he was doing and why. He was very thorough. Also, David was very nice and professional.

Carlos i feel did an amazing job , very informative and valuable information and great pleasant personality I'm very happy about the outcome. Would recommend Carlos helping anyone. Back story, 2 other companies left me without heat for weeks and tried selling me a whole system and Carlos repaired it within minutes by replacing the thermostat.

Carlos Esquival came out to take a look at our vent pipe for our heater exhaust. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it for us. He was very knowledgeable and professional. We will definitely work with him and this company for future HCAV projects.

Lalo, Armando and Eloi did an amazing 5 day job of rewiring my old house. They were on time and cleaned up at the end each day. They were diligent, worked together like a well oiled machine and had fun together. They were a great team to have around during the chaos of rewiring. Great company.

Nathan has done a wonderful job on our bathroom sink pops and P trap. He also very carefully installed an anti scale device to be with our newly installed Water Heater. A young gentleman with knowledge and skill in plumbing. Very friendly very helpful. One suggestion to your company: you may mark price high to LaJolla residents. But please do not mark too high, that is very UNFAIR. After the work, I talked to Heather. I am happy that she understands my concerns. Point Loma EPHA is a good company. But it has a room to improve. The job number one is to gain consumers’ trust through excellent services at reasonable prices.

Point Loma electric replaced the pendants above my breakfast bar with recess lights and Raul did a spectacular job. He was very thorough and honest. I also appreciated that he wore booties over his shoes. Very clean and respectful. I have more projects lined up for them.

Thankful I called Point Loma Electric heating & AC with our non-functioning AC @ the peak of Summer 2025. I was glad they gave us the soonest schedule available. Nick was the technician who initially assessed our aged AC system. He was punctual, professional, knowledgeable & has the patience to explain the HVAC system. He was very nice, trustworthy & straightforward w/ the pricing. We were not pressured on our decision. Miguel & Bernie who did the installation on 9/5/25 were also good, knowledgeable & fast, completing the work in one day. Carlos, was the other technician who came fast the following day to check on the attic fan cause it was running overnight. He did a great job trouble shooting then fixed the issue as soon then replaced our old thermostat! Thank you Point Loma for the great service & reasonable pricing! I will definitely recommend you to friends & relatives!

Eloi, was awesome, his attention to detail is what I am so impressed with. I was amazed at his professionalism given being so young. All I can say is this young man will be successful, which gives me a little peace, after 47 years working, I will leave the work force at end of 2027. Thank you Eloi. The photo is Duncan.

Needed someone to help me with a knob and tube removal and rewire for my 115 year old Craftsman house. Started asking and calling places/people for a few quotes, etc... Got the impression it wasn't a job most were interested in, because it can be hard. Called these guys and they were like yes we do that.

Aaron the estimator came out to look things over. Took id say almost 90 minutes looking at things with me. Didn't rush through the estimate. Which I appreciated! Enough time to write up a guestimate. I had a very good vibe communicating with him. Could tell he was experienced. The quote imo was fair. The warranty they offer on the work to me was impressive also. Talked to my wife that afternoon and we told him we were going to cancel our other estimate to price compare, etc. Felt that good about going with Aaron.

Aaron said he was going to send his A team to do the job. Needed guys to maneuver in a tight crawl space and attic. A few days later Aaron showed up with Lalo and Pedro to do a walk through before starting the job. They finished in 2.5 days.

Lalo and Pedro were VERY professional. Could tell they were mindful of concerns, requests I had. Aaron, Lalo and Pedro all had pleasant confident demeanors and I felt like they cared about the job they were going to do.

Lalo and Pedro left my house nice and tidy each time they left. Impressive for such a dirty job.

It was my first time using Point Loma electrical plumbing heating and air. I won't even hesitate when I need any other work for the house. I will be calling this company first easily. Especially if the other employees carry themselves and do good work like these three.

They are the A+ team that rewired my old house and I'll never forget the job they did.

Carlos and Sean came out to check our furnace. They were very professional and knowledgeable and took great care in telling us what we need to fix or not fix. We were very impressed with both of them. We will be using Pt. Loma Electric again. Great staff and service!!

Point Loma Electric, Plumbing, Heating and Air is my go to! They have done a variety of work in my home and have always been responsive and professional. Most recently I had a leak from one of my old outside water spigots. Couldn’t figure out why. I did the sensible thing and replaced it, used the plumber’s tape any everything. Was still dripping. Called them up, they were able to come same day. Blake was my technician. He called ahead of time, was very professional, and fixed the problem quickly.

Excellent service by technician Leo. Worked efficiently, kept area clean and free of debris and communicated steps and kept me informed throughout the entire process. We lost power for part of the home so we were very pleased how fast they responded and successfully completed the work.

Terrible experience with this company. I had a confirmed appointment for a chandelier installation. The agent came to the house, gave me a quote, we signed the contract, and agreed on the price, with the installation date confirmed.

When the installation day finally arrived, the contractor hired by the company called me and said the price was too low and that he couldn’t do the job for that amount. How can a customer be treated this way? Why was this price quoted to me? Why did the office send a contract and confirm an appointment if it wasn’t honored? Who is this person demanding a different price now?

I have never experienced this with any other company. This has been by far the worst interaction I have had, and I would not recommend this company to anyone.

We had an 40 year old wall furnace replaced. It was super easy to make an appointment, super quick to knock out the work (less than a day!), and we had super outstanding technicians (Carlos and Bernie were great)! 10/10 would recommend (and we will certainly be using Point Loma again for future projects).

The electrician was great clear and explaining what he was gonna do and offered a fair price for installing my nest doorbell. I would certainly use them again for any electrical services.
