Fast and efficient service. Ernesto was great, and did a great job explaining options. When the unit had a small dent, he immediately went to get another, without trying to sell it as inconsequential. New heater works perfectly.

18 year-old water heater was leaking. Found highly rated Water Heater Specialist on Google Reviews. Called on Sunday morning (1/11/26). WHS office immediately answered and professionally handled our call, giving us an ETA for technician, Ernesto, of about 45 minutes. (I thought, ‘How am I going to clear out half the garage in such a short time so technician can have reasonable working space?’) Ernesto arrived even earlier than ETA and said I didn’t need to clear out garage (what a relief!!); instead, he offered to move a few boxes bc he didn’t need much space at all, despite having to remove and install a 50-gallon heater. Ernesto went over the problem, solution, cost, operation, and maintenance in detail, very clearly—from the simple (we needed a drip pan and proper earthquake strap) to explaining the function of the pressure valve outside and something we were not familiar with—an expansion tank. Ernesto is professional and a skilled technician.

Victor was very professional and efficient. I appreciated his straightforward explanation of the issues and then the process to replace the water heater. He protected the hardwood floors and did not have spill over from his workspace. Victor was friendly. I would certainly recommend this business to others.

Ernesto arrived on time and prepared to repair our water heater, however it was an old water heater and we were already thinking about replacing it. Luckily, he had EVERYTHING with him to do either option, so we choose to replace! The new water heater is much more modern, and Ernesto did an amazing job. He was fast, knowledgeable, and efficient. We had an emergency water heater issue, and Robert answered our call on a Saturday night. He helped handle the emergency shut off over the phone. Ernesto arrived on Sunday morning - right on time and diagnosed the issue immediately. Ernesto repaired the issue and answered all of our questions. Very knowledgeable and professional. Ernesto helped us today with an emergency leak in our water heater. He very promptly arrived after we called the emergency line and was able to explain the process of replacing our water heater. Within about an hour and a half we have a new water heater and the mess is cleaned up! Afterwards, he showed me how to use all the features on the new device and what to do if something were to go wrong in the future. Water Heater Specialists came as a highly recommended referral from my neighbor. Unfortunately our water heater sprung some leaks and left us without hot water. I called in late at night to schedule an appointment and they had one first thing the next morning. Very fast service, professional and friendly technician, Vick. He was also very knowledgeable and taught us how to maintain the water heater. So thankful for his service, we have hot water again!!

Water heater died. It was 15 years old. Called at 7:05 am. Had a plumber at 10:30am (half an hour early). He examined the unit, described likely scenarios and options. We decided to replace the unit. He had replacement tanks and necessary equipment with him. I don’t recall what time he finished but it felt quick and efficient. Price was within our expectations. He made some minor adjustments to improve installation. Last unit had the opening for viewing the pilot light turned so that you had to use a mirror to see if it was lit. Plumber Marcus fixed that. Very happy with the service and our new hot water heater.

We had to replace a leaking water heater. We called Water Heater Specialists and they were there the next day at the exact time of the appointment. Ernesto Trevino was our service tech. He was excellent and explained what he was going to do and why and gave us options. After the installation, he walked us through start up, maintenance and hope to get the most out of our heater. Imagine your water heater failing dripping water everywhere calling the Water Heater specialist who arrive within an hour and complete the job in the next three hours and it’s like it never happened! Incredibly professional and the price well I guess that’s what it is these days. :( In particular, I want to put 10 stars for Jesus Barajas

They came out to our fix water heater a few years ago. Was very helpful in leaving instructions if have any issues. This year our water heater broke and they came out the next day and replaced everything. Very attentive and efficient. Would definitely recommend using their services!

Our water heater suddenly stopped working on Wednesday, Thursday morning at 9am VICK was already here to fix the issue! He was very knowledgeable and thoroughly checked all possible root causes, as well as the overall health of the water heater. Once finished he provided suggestions for regular maintenance and long-term improvements. Absolutely deserves a 5* rating!

Called Ray to fix a clogging issue. He came out and charged me money without giving a receipt. The issue was not fixed and I later found out that he had not changed the parts that he was supposed to change. He also did not return any of my calls. I had to hire someone else to fix the issue. Do not use this company! They just take your money and run.

Very bad experience. 20mins work he spent 40min to complete and charged me 4 hrs.

If I can, I want to give them zero star. The service and the technician are extremely bad and unprofessional.

1. SV Plumbing is authorized by our HOA. How could their technician not know where the valve is? He spent 35mins looking for the valve.
2. I asked the technician where your tools were when I met him at the very beginning. He said he had some with him. During his work, he went to pick up tools TWICE.
3. The work started at 9:40 and ended at 11:20. 100mins in total. BUT they charged me for 4 hours of work.

Here is the detailed time.
08:50 arrived. He came to the unit to check it out. I mentioned the valve might be above the dryer in my unit. Then we went to the garage to look for the valve.
09:05 In Garage. He could not find the valve, so he called someone and said they needed the pipe layout to figure out which one was for my unit.
09:17 In Garage. The service lady called me to provide all the feedback directly to her instead of their technician. ---FYI, I sent an email after the work done and provided my feedback. NO RESPONSE!
09:30 In Garage. Two more guys came. One is the boss. Still could not find the valve. I re-mentioned it might be in the unit. We moved from garage to my unit.
09:40 In unit. FINALLY we found the valve in my unit that is located on the ceiling above the dryer.
09:43 The technician went to pick up the tools. (1st time)
09:48 back in the unit
10:00 The technician went to pick up the tools again. (2nd time)
10:10 Came back with a big cart
10:40 went to pick up the cartridge. (3rd time)
11:20 Left my unit
