I've used SavATree on a few different construction projects for not just tree trimming and removal, but arboricultural consulting, monitoring, and tree protection plan development, and they've consistently been great to work with. Their team members are very responsive, their pricing is competitive, and they have excellent customer service. I look forward to using them for similar scopes on future projects.

We had a great experience with SavATree ... Kaitlyn was responsive, thorough, and respectful of our budget/timing. We will use SavATree again in the future, they did a great job taking out our Walnut tree that was touching the house ... no damage, highly efficient, and cleaned up afterwards. Thanks!

The team was great! The arborist came out and gave recommendations, then the arborist came back with a team at a later date to clear away dead branches, and shape our mature Ginkgo and Magnolia trees. They look better and I have more confidence that there will not be broken branches during upcoming winter storms. Thanks Save a Tree!

I really liked our arborist Kaitlyn. My husband and I were both very impressed with her knowledge. She was also very personable and communicative. The crew was respectful, on time, cleaned up after themselves and our trees look great. Kaitlyn is also the only arborist that has ever suggested a special treatment to reduce the super annoying prickly balls that our liquid amber trees drop. Thank you SavATree! I have full confidence in this company.

Savatree’s admin team scheduled a quick appointment for us. Mr. Jonathan Cardenas, the certified arborist who came to our house Upon arrival, he carefully checked our infected fruit tree and asked questions about our plants’ regular watering schedule and how we take care of the trees. Jonathan has provided informative inputs and analysis about the treatment methods/options for our fruit trees. It is definitely a fruitful visit for us. Kaitlyn which was the individual that came out to my Mobile Home earlier this week and was kind enough to give us a Free Estimate on the Tree work that needs to be done here at our place in Campbell.
Going to be scheduling something with her and her Crew to come over after the Thanksgiving Holiday to do the work required and I'm sure they will do an Excellent job as we've hired this company before to do Tree work around our property and we were Very Happy with the work preformed.
Hopefully everything will go as smoothly as last time.

SavATree took care of our 50+ year old redwood tree last week and Arturo and Carlos are true professionals: knowledge about how to attach a brace for a two-leader top, discerning about which branches to cut, and exceptional after work clean up. I also appreciate Jonathan assessing the plan to keep *our* tree - not just any redwood tree - safe; explaining in layperson words what was needed, and managing all that was entailed. I chose SavATree because of their arborist knowledge about how to care for trees in a way that is least intrusive for the tree while also keeping the urban tree safe in its surroundings. Arturo, Carlos, and Jonathan provided excellent work, and I would highly recommend this team. Thank you!

I had excellent tree care service with SavaTree. Arborist Tyler is knowledgeable, professional, patient and friendly; He spent a lot of time reviewing my needs, making a plan for tree removal, planting and pruning as well as giving advice on the future care of my trees. Tyler ensured the plan was discussed and reviewed with me and Jeb’s crew on the day of service. Jeb and his crew were also awesome. They are skilled! They did well removing two trees and pruning the others carefully that were in poor shape. I also had new trees planted. I am very happy with the excellent job they all did. My yard looks great and my trees are healthier.

I wish 4 1/2 stars was an option. I had them come out to prune my fruit trees in the Fall. They did a good job shaping them, which was my main concern. I had to go through afterwards to do some minor trimming. They also replanted 2 trees - a lime and an avocado. The replanting didn’t seem successful, but we waited till Spring to see if they would rebound. They didn’t. Completely dead. The company accepted responsibility and replaced the trees. The avocado I lost was Haas - they replaced it with Mexicola. I’ll have to wait a couple of years for the tree to produce fruit before I decide if the switch was not the best idea. The lime tree actually looks nicer than the one I lost, so -1, +1 on the scoreboard.

Everyone at SavATree were friendly and good to work with. In spite of the what problems I had with them, I’ll probably use them again next Fall for another pruning.

We were looking for a company to develop a plan for our property, to address 1) Soil Treatment, 2) Pest Management and 3) Pruning. As two retired individuals we also have a budget. We found SavATree prices competitive. We met with Franck Cadena, an Arborist fron SavATree, to look over our San Jose property. Franck impressed us in the following ways:
1- Looked over each tree and gave us feedback on its health and a status on whether pruning was needed or not at this time.
2- Gave us detailed best practices on soil health, and pest management, suggesting a possible plan for next year.
We could see Franck's love for his work which really came through in his natural excitement. Franck was notable in listening carefully to what we said. His suggestions were very helpful in addressing our specific needs.

Perfect service, easy to respond, and fast turnaround. We needed a pruning of a tree to comply with city standards. The representative Frank was very nice and did a great job. We compared prices and they had a good estimate.

I've been working with Patrick Ashley at SavATree / Arborwell for a while now. I am extremely happy with Patrick's knowledge and professionalism. He spends the tremendous amount of time going through your property (or your clients) educating you and/or your client on the matters at hand and provides truthful and honest advice. I've been working with different tree care companies and arborist and can tell you hands down Patrick is the most reliable and caring individuals I've worked with.

Once Patrick determines a service needs to be done, he provides an estimate in a timely fashion and is never pushy about proceeding with the work. Once I sign off on the quote he works with my schedule to have the work completed and usually stops by multiple times during the work (depending on job size) to verify everything is going smoothly.

I've always been very happy with the quality of work SavATree / Arborwell has provided. Their professional is carried through the entire organization and just a wonderful company to work with.

Arborist Franck Cadena came out from Savatree and evaluated our birch tree. We thought we had borer beetle infestation and was relieved that it was a woodpecker that caused the small holes. He also looked at our avocado tree and black walnut tree and gave us great advice. I highly recommend Franck for any tree problems you may have.

Savatree arborist Frank Cadena dropped by quickly after responding to my email inquiry about a tree that seriously needed pruning. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and professional, and quickly took care of tree pruning needs. Now, I know who to call for any other tree needs.

I had initially contacted them for saving my lemon tree which started showing some white spots on leaves, and black ants. First arborist who was there- didnot do a good job at all. However, we were later contacted by Colin- who was really supportive, and caring. He was very professional- answered all my concerns and questions and did the needful to save my lemon tree. He also assured that he would monitor the progress of my tree till we know that it is healthy and giving fruit like before. He constantly stayed in touch to ensure everything was going well- when the person came to treat the tree - he ensured that he answered my questions regarding the treatment that was provided. Overall, it was a good gesture and turned by negative experience into a positive one. I am very thankful and pleased with Colin who made sure that everything was going well. Can't wait to see my lemon tree get better and healthy.

I currently serve on the board for our HOA, and we have been using SavATree for over 5 years. With over 400 trees in our community, the board needs an Arborist who cares and knows our trees. The entire SavATree team is excellent, Gina Philips, Michael Hill and Kalen Glenn are my main contacts, they and the rest of SavATree are professional and quick to reply to emails, answering calls for emergencies. The provide us fair pricing and provide us needed and recommended services - they work with us on budget and understand that as HOA, we do not have deep pockets. Very pleased with SavATree.

I contacted SavATree about two trees beside my home which had roots coming to the surface and beginning to lift my sidewalks and a retaining wall. Frank came out to look at them and assess what could be done, if anything, to save the trees. Unfortunately, he discovered a crack down the trunk of on of the trees that was hanging over both my home and the sidewalk/street,. Frank said it needed to be removed as quickly as possible because it was a definite hazard. He did an emergency permit application to the city of San Jose but they, of course, drug their feet in approving the permit. Frank personally came out and put a strap around the tree to prevent it from falling if we developed windy conditions. After 30 days, without the city approving the permit, Frank scheduled the tree removed because high winds were predicted.
The removal required a bucket truck, for the safety of the crew, and a crane to safely remove the branches over my home. On the day of removal a crew of 6 workers, Frank and the district supervisor arrived at the scheduled time. After spending time assessing where to position the bucket truck and the crane they very carefully went to work. It was amazing to watch the process and I felt safe and confident as they removed the branches that were over my home. After the trees were removed they left my property clean and free of debris.
Throughout the entire process, from assessment to finish, Frank worked with me and kept me fully informed about what was happening and the delay created by the slow process of the city. He also worked with me on the cost to remove the trees and, although it was expensive, I feel the ultimate pricing was fair and justified.
I would completely recommend SavATree for any tree work you might need. I would certainly use them again for any work I need done.
