My entire experience with SavATree has been great. Scheduling was easy. The initial consultation appointment was informative and there was no sales pressure. The arborist I met with (Jonathan) listened to what I wanted, and gave me thorough explanations for the treatments he recommended. Before the work was completed, Jonathan re-confirmed what I wanted and all the tree-trimming services that would be completed. He also checked back after the work was done to make sure I was happy. To my untrained eye, the trimming was tastefully done and the job site was cleaner when they finished than it was when they started. Jonathan also gave me some ideas for maintenance I could do on two other trees, but did not apply any pressure to have me commit to doing it. Overall - I’ve had a great experience and would recommend SavATree to others.

I called SavATree to find out what was wrong with my oak tree. The leaves were spotted and rapidly spreading to the other trees. Frank came to help identify what the problem was. He was very personable and knew exactly what was wrong. Frank was a real help and I would request him for any tree work I might need. I would definitely recommend SavATree to anyone needing tree work.

We had SavATree out for a quote months ago and didn’t move forward at the time, but when they happened to be in the neighborhood and checked in, the timing was perfect—we needed other trees trimmed and signed a contract on the spot. Franck and his team did an excellent job, our tree looks better than ever, and we’ll absolutely use them again and recommend them to others.

We contacted SavATree to check on a tree that had the potential to be a menace to our roof. We needed to evaluate the health of the tree and our option between remove the tree vs trim it down. Along with that there was another tree with surface roots and we wanted to assess the potential. Frank Cadena from SavATree understood our urgency and visited us in a matter of a day. He was helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant. He helped us assess more of our trees while he was on premises. He provided very good feedback on our trees. This was just an evaluation visit - but a valuable one as we now have a reasonable way forward and are encouraged to have a knowledgeable arborist to work with. Thanks so much.

Thank you to Franck Cadena and the Savatree crew for their help removing a large tree from our backyard, pruning two large trees in our front yard, and grinding several stumps.

Franck partnered with us to understand our needs, helped us navigate the permit process with the city, and built a solution that met our budget ... thank you.

When it came time for the job, Franck was onsite making sure his crew safely removed the tree (which was leaning over our house) in our backyard and pruned the trees in our front yard to preserve the life of the tree while improving them aesthetically. When one of his crew called in sick, Franck even put on a helmet and filled in!

We will give Franck and Savatree our business for years to come, thank you again!

David and team did excellent job. I had 13 trees that needed to be trimmed and David's quote was very reasonable and whole job was completed within one day. Highly recommend this company.

Huge shout out to Mike Hill and his team on some of my recent projects. Mike was very responsive and professional, I received my quotes quickly and the work was scheduled right away. Furthermore, Mike stoped by on his way home from work to remove a branch that had fallen but didn’t require a whole crew and was able to made quick work clearing my driveway. I appreciate all they do for my property.

Unfortunately, my 5 star review, before Save A Tree service was completed, needs to be amended. I felt it would be better to address my questions/concerns with Franck, the arborist, by phone rather than text. Tuesday, 5th, I called Save A Tree requesting a call from Franck. No response. I waited 3 days and called the company, again, Friday the 8th, to request that Frank call me. The gal was friendly and remembered passing along the message to Franck and said she would contact him again. No call. The company, itself, is responsive and easy to contact.

Franck, David, and Carlos trimmed a bunch of trees in our yard and did a fantastic job! The trees look great, and the team was clean and efficient. They not only trimmed a few branches from other trees in our yard that needed some attention and were impeding on the trees within the scope of work (extra bonus!), but they also discarded a large branch that had fallen from a neighbor’s tree. Above and beyond. Thank you so much!

Great experience overall, this company has a real arborist. Easy to work with, professional. Our big old tree is now beautifully shaped and should be more drought proof by trimming correctly (previously had some non arborists cut it randomy).

Franck was so knowledgeable! He told me all about how to protect my trees and care for their health, and informed me about a tree protection permit I need before we embark on a home addition. He helped me choose the perfect place to relocate my lemon tree, and gave me advice on root barriers we’ll want to install to protect our foundation. I’m so grateful for his help, and he made himself so accessible for future questions, too. This was a top notch experience with SaveaTree because of Franck!

We have had excellent service from arborist Frank Cardona and the crew at San Jose SavATree. Frank is very knowledgeable and took the time to explain his assessment in detail. His recommendations were for far more subtle and detailed work than I got from other companies and with a fair price. The crew was very courteous, knowledgeable, and careful. They did a great job cleaning up.
He recommended a soil treatment for our oaks that were looking stressed and they are definitely greening up after the application this past fall.
I don't hesitate to recommend Frank and his team for emergency work or maintainance. He has been very quick to respond and very professional in carrying out service.

Franck and team showed up as promised. They consulted with me before starting the job. They didn’t even ask me to move my cars etc as they didn’t want to inconvenience me but I offered to move the cars so that they could pull up their truck right to my yard to make it easier on them. Two guys, one bucket truck, super quick, quiet for tree trimmers and professional work. They called me out showed me their work, explained why they didn’t want to lop off a branch that would have made the tree lopsided and then also went out of their way to trim a branch from another tree that would have been a problem in a few years with my permission for no extra charge. Their clean up was exceptional and I would not have known they were there had I not been there.

Franck was an exceptional and punctual salesman. Before he got the job he explained all the sub details, explained how they would work and showed up to do the work along with his crew even though he was a salesman and an arborist ! He then followed up after the job to make sure my needs were met.

I asked him if I could review him anywhere and he offered up this Google review link. I am a very happy customer and have already started referring Franck personally to others. I hope the company continues using Franck and this crew and continues to provide 6 star service.

Outstanding and professional tree service! The two men were courteous, knowledgeable and very skilled. They trimmed and pruned our Sequoia redwood, European clump birch and our gingko tree. This was the first time we’d had these three trees worked on in the nearly 4 decades we’ve been in our home. They answered our questions and were very polite. They arrived on time and thoroughly cleaned up everything they’d done including the branches that had dropped in our neighbors’ yards. All the branches went through the grinder and nearly filled their truck. Their supervisor, Franck, stayed in touch with me and his workers did the work according to the plan Franck and I discussed. Franck is an arborist, as is his father. The price was very reasonable and I was so grateful to finally find an arborist after searching for one for many years. I can’t recommend this company enough!

Franck and his crew, led by Mario, did a pruning of my 100 year old Coast Oak. They thinned it, removed dead branches, etc. according to ISA standards. They also trimmed my 50 foot palm. They cleaned up and hauled away all the wood and debris. They were efficient, effective and easy to work with. I highly recommend them.

Franck and his team were great to work with. Originally the work was scheduled for a day and a half and they were able to complete the work in 1 day. The day of the work was garbage day and in order to access the tree their trucks were blocking some of my neighbor's garbage and recycling cans. When the garbage trucks came by they made sure to flag them down and helped to push the cans over to the trucks. Great job

Sophia was outstanding during our initial free consultation. This is clearly a calling for her and not just a job. She understood our goals and offered helpful insight and suggestions. The team came out and made it all come true. Our beautiful heritage Japanese Maple is now balanced and shaped. Same with our orange tree, palm teee, camellia bushes, and various other small trees. This home was purchased by my parents in 1972, and with the help of SavaTree, we've done it justice!

The work included Crown Cleaning and End-Weight Reduction — removing dead, weak, or diseased branches, thinning laterals to reduce excessive end-weight, and improving light penetration and air circulation. All pruning was done according to ISA standards and safety regulations, with disinfectants applied to tools to prevent the spread of disease.

Franck personally remained on-site to review the scope of work and pruning cuts, ensuring full transparency and top-quality execution. His team also hauled away all branches and left the site perfectly clean after the work was completed.

It's been forever since I've experienced such amazing customer service as I had with Franck. My first impression of him was that he was courteous and professional but it just got better from there. He offered a us a free consultation which we promptly agreed to and wow, he came through! He was on time, patient with my questions, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. He assessed our Weeping Cherry tree and gave us his professional honest opinion, (even though it wasn't good news) I trusted him and would highly recommend this company and especially Franck for any and all of your arborist needs.
