West Coast Tree Care did restoration pruning on a large cedar tree that had been putting out a lot of epicormic growth at the tips due to severe pruning done in the past on the tree. They showed up with an aerial lift truck and worked precisely to thin out the tree while leaving it looking as natural as possible. Their foreman, GG, also thinned our specimen Maple tree and it looks amazing. I did have to ask them to revisit the trimming of an orange tree; their second pass was as per my expectations.

Overall, I am fully satisfied with the work done and the price that they charged.

Thank you for agreeing to prune the live oak in my driveway. It must have been a challenge to work around our narrow street and the small lot. I’m very impressed with the quality and expertise of your team. Jose was especially helpful in answering my questions. When I walk back to my house, I love looking at the oak and how it now is more balanced.

Shayne is extremely communicative, responsive and very professionals. They did a great job, and everything started and stopped on the planned days. Shayne is also extremely knowledgeable, and is able to determine which trees are healthy, which ones are not, which ones should be removed and how to rehab other trees.

Overall, it was an excellent service.

I've used West Coast Tree Care for many years, and they have taken good care of our many maples and dogwoods, as well as the podacarpus. They do a spring pruning each year, and some years we have them do a deep fertilizing of trees that may need extra attention. I highly recommend them. The only downside is that they are so busy that they are booked far in advance and it takes a few months to get scheduled. So get in line!

West Coast has removed a tree and done a wonderful job! The workers left the place cleaned and made sure that nothing stayed behind. I will recommend this company to anyone that needs work done to their trees!

Jose and his team were easy to work with and conscientious -- avoiding stepping on a breakable piece of pool equipment and not dropping branches on plants below. They pointed out a weak branch connection on our front tree and the removal that would help, and they asked if they could go into the neighbor's yard to clean up any mess that fell on their side. Lovely final result on the 4 trees.

This was my third year having West Coast Tree Care and I'll use them again.
