Review: A Rough Start, but Redeemed by True Professionalism

I recently had a backflow issue in my shower, and my insurance company sent out two plumbers from Promo Plumbing to address it. Unfortunately, the initial visit was extremely disappointing. The two technicians spent a considerable amount of time attempting to fix the problem using their snake machine but couldn’t identify the cause. Their proposed solution was to open the wall—something I had never been told was necessary in past similar situations. To make matters worse, they said this step wouldn’t be covered by insurance and would have to come out of my pocket.

They left my bathroom in a mess, with lingering dirt and odor from the backflow, and offered no resolution. I felt frustrated, angry, and completely dissatisfied with the service I had received. I expressed my concerns in a survey from my insurance company and rated the experience a 1 out of 5.

To my surprise, I was soon contacted by the company’s supervisor, Daniel Veimau, who personally apologized and offered to come take a look. I truly appreciated that. When he arrived, he took control of the situation in a calm and professional manner. He performed the same assessment the previous team had—using the snake machine but correctly this time—and was able to fix the issue without any need to open walls!! He explained everything clearly and thoroughly, which gave me confidence and peace of mind.

Thanks to the supervisor’s expertise and genuine effort to make things right, my negative experience was turned around completely. I now feel comfortable using this plumbing company again, but will specifically request the supervisor, whose knowledge and customer service made all the difference.

Best Plumbers ever! I called and they said they could come the same day. They did even better and showed up earlier. I showed them the problem and they researched it, showed me the actual issue, fixed it. Showed me the work they did and offered great advice, including adding another shut off valve, which was perfect for our situation. Mike and Zai were extremely professional and next time I have any plumbing issue Promo Plumbing are my go to Plumbers from now on!

Loni was amazing, as always. We’d had a different plumber out (assigned, not by choice), who was late, couldn’t solve the problem, and made a mess. Promo and Loni were thorough and excellent. Can’t recommend them enough!
