My technician Mike Schroeder arrived on schedule. He was very attentive to keeping house clean (ii.e., rug at entry, protection in work space). He was friendly, did a great job of explaining the problem and showing me what caused the concern. Great service!

This is the best team I’ve used since I started my new house constructions at Belmont. I hired EPS to do trenching for my gas, electric, water and fire sprinkler lines. I obtained quotes from 3 different companies. EPS’s quote was comparable to another company while the third one was way high. Joe, the project manager, explained all steps and fees to me patiently. I felt comfortable to go with them and I am so glad about my decision. The whole team was amazing. Bill, the field manager was detail oriented, sincere and knowledgeable. All work was completed professionally and flawlessly within a few weeks (while most of the time were spent on waiting for inspection schedule). We passed all inspections with no surprise. In-between my general contractor threw a surprise and I have to find somebody to connect the main sewer. Joe and Bill came to the rescue. Their team finished the additional task in no time.
Since I like to see how things are done, I was on the job site most of the time. I can tell that their team has great spirit and good dynamic. This doesn’t come without a good leader who respects their workers. They’ve definitely won my business from now on. I would recommend them to my friends without hesitations. The building adjacent to our business had Express Plumbing repair a main water line for them and most of the work needed to be done on our property. Al introduced himself and let me know they would be working on our side of the lot. Not only did they repair the neighbors leak, they tore up and put our driveway back to the condition it was in prior to repairs. The crew was clean and work was done in a very timely manner.

Express Plumbing and their crew is highly professional and experienced to handle any plumbing projects. I have used their services for both residential properties and commercial locations I own. They show up on time, well equipped and get the job done right the first time and fast. I'm not easy to deal with and I appreciate having them in the Bay Area, they're the best!

This review is regarding this company’s inconsideration to neighbors to which they are servicing the area.

They had started some plumbing work on the street and left No Parking signs outside a section of the block. The project manager indicated that the work should be completed in about a week. After one week and apparently completion of the work, the No Parking signs are still left on the street but the crew is no where to be found. I contacted the company three times over the two weeks that their crew did not show up to inquire politely if they could remove the No Parking signs, and each time they responded that they will have the project manager remove the signs. This is now more than two weeks and the signs are still there. After multiple polite attempts to have them correct the situation and are ignored, I believe this company shows extreme inconsideration and is not a company I will work with.

Luis did a great job representing Express Plumbing. He was on time for our appointment, efficient with the work and able to use the remaining time in our appointment to fix a newly discovered small leak and give useful advice on re-piping needs. I will definitely use Express Plumbing again and recommend them over other plumbing businesses serving San Mateo that I have hired in the recent past.

My water heater leaked and water went to the garage on Saturday. I called Express Plumbing. Greg responded quickly and instructed me to shut off the water valve on the water heater and drain the tank to stop water flow. Next day, Greg came on time to replace the water heater. The previous water heater was installed by Express Plumbing more than 17 years ago. Their quality work made it lasted much longer than normal life. Thanks Greg for the excellent work during the weekend!

Strong endorsement for Express Plumbing & Nick Bechwati if you have a significant sewer project. I led a team of 5 investors in a design/build project for 2500 linear feet of sewer. We competitively bid to 4 organizations, and seriously considered 3 of them. In extensive conversations, Nick's commitment and competitive pricing impressed.

We were extremely pleased that Nick and the team delivered exactly as they said they would, including dealing with several difficult Town regulations, some which could have created a change order, but which the EPS team took on themselves without complaint. EPS managed to the schedule, and to the spirit of the job, ensuring things flowed smoothly.

This was a significant undertaking spanning several months. At every point, we found EPS to be great partners. And, I've also heard good things from the homeowners along the sewer line that have contracted with Nick on smaller projects.

Jose Lopez was very polite and friendly and spent a lot of time to make sure that the leak was fixed properly. He really did above my expectations will surely use them again for any plumbing problems in the future and will definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

We had THE BEST experience with Express Plumbing. We had a huge unforeseen sewer line replacement project, and Nick Bechwati was able to come in so clutch. Got a quote from a local plumber, and found out they were not equipped with permits to finish the job and they'd have to use Express Plumbing do be able to finish the project.

Not only that, we had a separate water meter that needed updating and they were able to lump that into the project as well.

Cut out the middle man and go with Express Plumbing. All staff and crew are so kind, very communicative, professional and efficient. It honestly made this nightmare project run so smoothly. If I could give 6 stars I would. Cannot say enough good things about Nick and Express Plumbing. I will be recommending them to everyone.

In January 2025 Greg from Express Plumbing was terrific when he "fixed" my spontaneously leaking sink...it started leaking a lot while I was standing nearby, nothing had happened to cause the leak. I called Express Plumbing and Greg came in about 2 hrs and diagnosed the problem. He returned the next day with a new faucet he'd picked up from the vendor after the vendor rejected my order because I wasn't on the Secure PickUp list. (Why would anyone think a retired person never in the construction or plumbing business would be on a Secure PickUp list?) He installed the faucet efficiently and answered all my questions. Greg was helpful and someone you'd be happy to have in your house. He is courteous, articulate, patient, thoughtful with his suggestions. He even appeared at my door wearing shoe covers, which meant he could walk on my white carpets. He showed me the Amazon part number for the new filter I bought to use with the new faucet. I would be happy to have Greg help me any time! This is the second time Express Plumbing has been excellent with their help. The first time was in Spring 2021 and technician WA helped with an very old shower that started leaking intermittently. .

I highly recommend Express Plumbing. My neighbor and I needed to have sewer work done and we got several bids. William Perry was terrific and the crew was awesome! They were on time, worked hard, were gracious about letting us see the work and ask questions and left the space very neat and tidy each day. They did an excellent job putting my pavers back. Express Plumbing was responsive and professional with regards to my shower leak. Their dispatch scheduled an appointment immediately, and even though the tech (Victor Pabalate). couldn't come due to a family emergency, he came the next Monday, which happened to be a national holiday, so they made good on their service. He was quick and friendly. I also asked about hot water heating, and determined it was the building hot water circulating pump that needed to be installed. Definitely recommend them.
