I hired Kleindienst Plumbing after meeting with the owner Roy and going over a bid from a former plumber. The bid was around $8,000 and Roy looked it over and said "we should be able to beat this", I said great when can you start?

He had one of his guys here that never communicated about the work running more than the original estimate. Billy his plumbers who did the work quit shortly after the work was completed.

Roy gave me one estimate and then I started getting bills for an hourly rate. This was never discussed and he just set it up on an hourly rate. I sent him a text and an email asking for an estimate but, never got a reply then the bills just kept coming in and coming in. I paid around $8000 for the work and he trying to charge my over $17,000 for the work that was quote by the former plumber for around 8K. There's even a few things that the former plumber bid on and Kleindient's didn't do. They recently turned my into the a credit agency for $9444.

This company is not organized, Roy was not around to advise his worker Billy and he didn't have clear direction and didn't have all materials he needed on the job and Billy was frustrated most of the time. One of the reason he quit.

Roy never communicated with me that the job was going to run more than the bid I showed him and now he's try to charge my over double was the original bid was.

I do not recommend this company. Stay clear, they are not ethical!!!!

My next step will be BBB.. etc.

It's interesting, that the first review had a similar experience and was turned into collections also!! Kleindienst Plumbing will misrepresent the charges.

Since I posted this review, there's been problems with my plumbing. Kleindienst didn't hook up my waste line under my house and the water has been going under my house. He also didn't run the vent pipe all the way up.

Grier is the best.

My dad works for this business and my aunt is dating the owner of Grier Argall Plumbing!! I would recommend this plumbing business any day!!

The on call technician arrived within a minute of the scheduled time. He was very professional in quickly diagnosing the leaking outdoor hot water heater. He called the warehouse from his truck, & while he disconnected the leaking tank, another technician came with a new tank. As they no longer make the tank I had, it was a challenge to connect the new one to the old fittings. He came in & got a signed permission to use the more expensive fittings required.
To help keep the new tank from rusting, they raised it off the concrete flooring + put an aluminium pan below that.

The MAN when it comes to honest Marin County plumbers. My go-to for so many years Great, Sean, Kaylene feel like trusted family members. Love Grear and what he stands for; professional work provided at realistic prices.

Argall Plumbing is the absolute best. They're very accommodating, honest, friendly, and efficient. They showed up when promised (no four-hour wait), diagnosed and quickly addressed my issues. THEY are my go-to plumbing professionals and they're nice people too!

Cancelled for the first scheduled appointment date after failing to return calls to clarify the work required, showed up the next day and said they'd be able to do the work described over the phone but not until 2 days later. Sent an overpriced quote to the wrong address then said it would take another day or two to complete.

DON’t WASTE YOUR MONEY! they came and “supposedly” repaired the plumbing pipe work and left. $700 later when I checked the work, the sink doesn’t drain, cold water valve can’t be shut off. Called them back and they said that wasn’t part of the job but happy to come out to fix it for more $$$. What kind of a plumber leaves a job w/unworkable plumbing and not let people know!

They absolutely do not live up to their name - extremely UNreliable! I made an appointment on a Wednesday for inspection after they said they would waive the inspection fee (which is higher than others I spoke with). They called back to reschedule for the next day, Thursday and then again (in the middle
of the 4 hour window!) to reschedule for Friday. The inspector called and said he was 10 minutes away then showed up 40 minutes later. After 5 minutes of inspection I was given an outrageous quote that was double what the other plumbers I had spoken with was and the only reason I would consider it was the $300 credit they allegedly gave me for a missed appointment (the 2nd one mind you). I would steer clear of this joke of a company. No wonder they haven't claimed their Yelp listing, I can't believe there aren't ten other 1-star reviews, if only I could give 0 stars I would.
