Local plumbing recently helped me with locating and fixing a leaking pipe in the ceiling, as well as a couple of other issues. They were very responsive, easy to schedule, and communicative. I highly recommend them.

I needed a plumber, so I called my electrician. He immediately said these are your guys, Local Plumbing out of San Rafael.

Wow! I called them and the owner picked up. He was affable and very accommodating. He booked me for the following morning.

The plumber he sent was
named Ricky. He showed up on time and could not have been more friendly or capable.

Ricky removed and capped a sink I no longer need in our kitchen island and he modified the plumbing in our primary bath so that we no longer have to wait for hot water when we shower.

After so many challenging experiences with other plumbing companies, we finally found our go to! Local Plumbing out of San Rafael was top-notch to deal with on our shower issues. Joe, the technician, diagnosed the issue within minutes and had it repaired on the spot. He was timely and professional, and explained things in a way that helped me understand the problem and subsequent fix. We can’t recommend this company highly enough.

Wow! I was very impressed with Local Plumbing, especially Joe! I’m always nervous about choosing the right company to work on my house because as a single mom, I have no clue about this stuff. I was so thrilled that Joseph was sent to my rescue, explaining everything well enough that I actually understood for once!! After living in Marin for 15 years, I finally found a plumbing company I can trust, Local Plumbing . Noah from Local Plumbing was reliable, efficient, knowledgeable, and evaluated what I needed to fix but also what did not need to fix .

He notified me early that he would be running a little late and then arrived right at his updated time eager to see the plumbing jobs. A shower valve, broken trim , angle stop and leaking toilet flappers were my concerns.

Noah explained everything carefully and clearly to let me decide what to do rather than just insisting on doing everything whether it needed work or not .

Noah looked at the angle stop and told me that that one actually did not need replacing; then he checked the toilet flappers and showed me just the flappers I needed.

He looked at the broken trim and shower valve and helped me decide what needed to be done.
Not only did the plumbing get fixed but
I learned a great deal from Noah, who is a very personable knowledgeable, honest Local Plumbing employee. I am glad I chose Local Plumbing and next time I will ask for Noah .

From the first call to the office, I knew local plumbing was going to be my long term plumber and now that I have used them 3 times for my rental properties in Tiburon I can confidently say that they are the best around. From an emergency water heater swap a couple weeks ago, to a boiler repair today, these guys really have the customers back. 10/10 recommend. Every single employee I have dealt with have the same “problem solver” attitude and I can’t think them enough. Great pricing and same day services is important as issues arise in short term rentals and they guys have been able to offer that each time. They are my go to plumber in Marin.

Andres came back for annual maintenance on the system that Local Plumbing installed. Andres is the best. Professional, walks you through the inspection and maintenance and highlights any potential problems. Highly recommend Local Plumbing.
