Blue Oak Heating & Cooling go above and beyond! They are extremely hard workers and very friendly too!

Today they were working all day at my parents house helping to fix their AC which stopped working. My Dad wasn’t feeling well today and had a ton of 40lb salt bags for their pool in the back of their car. At the end of a very long hot work day, the 3 guys unloaded all the salt bags and carried them to the pool area for my parents who are in their 70s.

Because of their kind and courteous service that far exceeded our expectations, I will forever now be calling Blue Oak Heating and Cooling for all of our needs!

I couldn't be any happier with Blue Oak Heating and Cooling. I followed a recommendation from the Next Door neighbor app and so glad I did. Som, the owner, did a great job replacing the heater duct beneath my old house that had been compromised by rates(!) and never complained about the tight crawl space. He's a very good-natured guy, professional, and offered fair priced options for me to choose from. Also, he got the job done the day before Thanksgiving. Critical timing for me after going without heat for some weeks prior, due to other professionals completely flaking on me. I highly recommend Som with Blue Oak Heating & Cooling and would definitely hire him again should the need arise.

Exceptional experience. We had a complete HVAC replacement and Blue Oak had it installed and operating in two days. It's operating perfectly and, most of the time, we never even hear it running. Highly recommend.

We recently had Blue Oak heating and cooling out for the following: thermostat install, dryer vent repair and clean, and bathroom repair. Som was very honest, great pricing, hard working and professional. We had various other companies come out to look at our projects and we’re not honest about what really needed to be done. What a great experience with Som, owner of Blue Oak Heating & Service. We recently hired Som to install a minisplit system and to remove our HVAC. Som and Noah were detailed in their work, made sure to keep everything organized and clean, and did an excellent job with installation. They showed up when they said they would and finished within their timeline. The quality of work was excellent.

Som's proposal was selected over several others because it was transparent, detailed, and the price was fair. Som never tried to upsell. We always felt like Som had our best intentions in mind. Som has integrity and is trustworthy, in addition to being very knowledgeable about heating and cooling systems.

My husband and I think John and his team were personable, competent, on-time, and that they went above-and-beyond (considering the circumstances of impending rain) and even installed all the new vents on a Saturday, a day they normally don't work. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Duct Doctor and enthusiastically give them 5 stars!

I was very impressed with John's service. I had an air scrubber installed on my HVAC unit to clean the air in my home. They were very professional. They also cleaned my air ducts, drier vent, and serviced my HVAC. I will continue to hire them for maintenance.

Very professional and easy to work with. Our ducts were falling apart in the attic, which we found out about when we were considering a new HVAC system. I called around for estimates for the duct work, because the HVAC contractors didn't want to do ducts (huh?). Duct Doctor was 1/2 the price of other estimates and willing to drive 1.5 hr to our house. Within 2 weeks, they were here to do the job. They kept us informed throughout the process, telling us what they were looking for, what they were doing and why. No surprise, additional charges. Very pleasant experience. We caught it just in time, as they found some holes that could have started flowing fiberglass fibers into our living space. Glad its been taken care. Now more of our heating and a/c will go into heating and cooling our house, instead of our attic!

The owner, John, is a fantastic person. He understood my mom's situation, sent out extremely kind and patient techs for a no cost bid just for cleaning, and explained everything even though it was "bad news". John worked with us financially whilst bidding the job without us even asking. Other companies I called wanted a preposterous amount, and I was prepared to do the job myself until I called Duct Dr. The install team couldn't have been nicer. Great group of professionals. After a bad experience with a junk removal service, this restored my faith in the trades. Bravo, folks. Recommend highly.

We are so thankful we contacted John when we were looking to clean our ducts and vents! Not only was he knowledgeable, honest and professional, but he also went above and beyond answering all the questions we had about the duct system we have in our home. When he found an unexpected issue with our dryer vent he fixed it on the spot for us! Would definitely recommend contacting John!

I cannot say enough good things about this company. John was very knowledgeable about insulation and what needed to be done to take care of my home. His price to remove,clean and replace was much less than what everyone else was paying. His price could not be beat. He is so much fairer with his price that the big companys. He was very professional and did a great job. It was all completed in one day

John and his team replaced our heating ducts and installed an attic fan - and everyone went above and beyond for my partner and me. We trusted them implicitly and felt so taken care of. I am a retired teacher. I taught for 20 years for the union in West Contra Costa. The Duck Doctor, John, I would recommend to anyone who wants a job done professional, a good price and a crew of hard working individuals. Very impressive. I've had a funky smell in my house that's been driving me crazy. Before The Duct Doctor finally found (and validated) my issue, I had 4 other professionals come to investigate. One told me it was a propane leak. It's not. One told me it was sewage gas. One came and reset the toilets and checked the P-traps. It smells like death so I even called a dead animal retrieval company - they said they couldn't smell anything!

BUT FINALLY TODAY, John and his team came and really took a look at everything and immediately found and photographed the issue. Rodent infestation of my ducts. While other companies are lazy, John actually took the time to hike up my incredibly steep street in Rio Nido to give me a free estimate.

I will work with his recommended exclusion company first. But when that's all over, I look forward to calling The Duct Doctor back in for replacement and repairs.

Such a nice company to deal with! John helped when our heater broke in the coldest part of January. Thank goodness he was able to get heat back quick! He was professional and gave us great tips on how to keep our 1930's house warmer. Totally responsive, affordable, knowledgeable and QUICK. We will be using this company again!

Fantastic experience- we had some issues regarding our home pop up that they found on the initial inspection and they gave us recommendations on how to handle it, and even waived the visit charge since they weren’t able to complete the planned work as it was. Looking forward to having them back out once we take care of one of the issues. Very professional company!

I had all the ducts cleaned & repaired and heater repair. They were on time, professional, and very polite. A technician even came out on a Sunday to get my heater working.
