Javier and Alex installed a State Heat Pump Water Heater. It was a complex installation in a confined space and they arrived on time and completed the work in two days. Javier was especially proficient at doing the installation per the manufacturer's specs. They did a great job of cleaning as well.

Bryan and his crew are amazing! We have a tri-level home and it's a challenge getting parts of the home cool, without freezing our other parts. I called to get a quote on a new AC, as well as possibly a new heater, as ours was getting old. Bryan came out and talked to us about our options, and introduced us to a Bryant Ductless Heater/AC option. I'd never heard of these before, and after doing some research, we decided on the Ductless option. I absolutely LOVE the fact I can get one room extremely cold, while leaving the other rooms warm. Or get one room warm and toasty, while leaving the other rooms cool. Thank you for taking the time to explain this option to us. We couldn't be happier with our decision. We will always use Valley Comfort and highly recommend them.

He did a great job installing my new Ecobee5 Thermostat and had to go into my attic to find and use the existing wiring. Many thanks to him for his work.

Excellent job! They did my ac repair fast and it was less costly than some other quotes I have gotten. They came fast and were very nice the entire time, answering all of my questions and taking the time to make sure I was happy. I will definetely be using them again if I need someone.

Craig came out to inspect our furnace and air conditioner.The inspection was terrible. He said the furnace was old and possibly had cracks in the heat exchanger,and aiconditioner was not working properly. We then called another company to look at the furnace and air conditioner. He used a camera to look inside the furnace and found no cracks in the exchanger. He pulled the burners out and cleaned them and cleaned the entire furnace. The furnace has been working perfectly and the air conditioner is working great as well and blowing cold air at 59 degrees. It's too bad Comfort didn't take the time to do a thorough inspection. We saved thousands of dollars by getting a second opinion! Comfort air charged me $140.00 for a bogus inspection!

We had our entire AC / heat system replaced in Yountville back in March and I wanted to wait until the first big heat wave to write my review. I wanted to see how the unit performed in my house with no insulation and single paned windows. It's 99 outside right now and 72 inside, and the unit is able to even shut off so it's not running constantly. Success! It's a very quiet unit and the air flow is good. The heat also works great and it's multi-stage so I don't have that "hot cold" thing that the old furnace did with its blowing on high all the time.

Ask for Dustin - he's amazing... available virtually 24-7 and knows his stuff. During the estimate he saw someone had dropped a tool down our floor vent years ago before we bought the house and he spent 5 minutes retrieving it and then handed it to me. It demonstrated that he had attention to detail and was persistent when faced with a challenge.

They also didn't try the cheesy "Did you get our coupon in the mail??" sales tactics that Moore tried with me.... then pulling the secret coupon out of their briefcase... Valley Comfort gave one fair price and that was it, unlike Moore which had all these bizarre discounts and add-ons making it feel like buying a car. Moore has been purchased by a bigger company rumor has it and their price was by far the highest. Valley Comfort wasn't the cheapest -- they were right in the middle -- but the crew seemed to really know their stuff. They even have a cranky old guy that comes out at the end to put the techs through their paces as he inspects the install.

Overall, I was very pleased with Valley Comfort, and I referred them to a friend in San Rafael who is also very happy. They also did work for Handwritten Wines up here and they gave them a glowing recommendation.

The a/c went out at my business (gym) during a hot spell. Valley was able to get out the next day to diagnose the problem. We have a really old unit so sourcing parts posed a potential problem. They were able to find parts and get us back up and running quickly. Craig kept us informed all the way so we could communicate the progress to our clients and keep them informed. Really happy customer here!

Bryan S. from Valley Comfort Heating and Air installed my HVAC when I built my house 10 years ago. I recently scheduled a service call with them when a furnace was short cycling - constantly turning on and off without emitting hot air. The motor was also making loud noises. A service technician came out and told me that he didn't see anything wrong with the furnace. He told me it was working fine and there were no error codes. The furnace continued to run so poorly that I stopped running it after a few days out of fear that doing so would cause permanent damage. I crawled under the house to check it myself and immediately saw the error code that pointed to the problem. Two hours of watching youtube videos and another two hours following the steps to remove and clean out the condensation box and the short cycling issue was fixed. Valley Comfort did absolutely nothing and I had to waste half of my day fixing something that real professionals would be able to fix in less than an hour. Even though they failed to diagnose the problem, I am still being charged a $89 "diagnostic fee". Very disappointed with the unprofessional service from Valley Comfort Heating and Air.

Not even 24 hours after my review and Valley Comfort and Heating has made it right!

I'm happy to say that Bryan and Craig reached out immediately, took responsibility for the oversight and cleared things up. Their responsiveness has restored my confidence in Valley Comfort Heating and Air and I look forward to doing more business with them in the future.

It's hard to give anything less than a glowing rating to this company. I needed to install a ductless system in my newly converted garage to art studio. The online search for local Santa Rosa HVAC companies yielded many results, but few with such good yelp and google review ratings. I called Valley Comfort for an estimate. I was given a quick calendar date for my estimate with Matt Crespin. As soon as I hung up, I received a text and an email confirmation of my appointment. On estimate day, Matt was punctual. He was thorough and easy going in his description of the system required, did not give me the hard sell. We discussed the pros and cons of a 12000 BTU vs 18000 BTU system. I was undecided and asked if it would be ok to get an estimate for each option. Matt provided the estimates on the spot. He later emailed me a formal estimate and contract for the job.
The installation date was set just a few days later. Once again, I was sent a text and an email confirmation of the installation date and the name of the installers. The installers called me the morning of the installation with their ETA and actually arrived exactly on time. They spent the entire day working on the installation. They did not goof off or spend time on their phones, etc...They were courteous, professional, respectful and did a very nice job. They cleaned up after themselves and left the space as they had found it.
I am very pleased with the product and the entire experience (which seems to be rare these days in the world of contractors and anything related to construction). Highly recommend

Jose was in and out in under an hour, had the part that was needed in his truck and fixed our furnace perfectly. I’m really impressed with the efficiency of his work, and the cost was very reasonable. Jose was clean, courteous and knowledgeable, his professional demeanor was spot on. Just used these folks to repair our A/C and clean the duct work. It's so appreciated when you call to set an appointment and there is a friendly, helpful voice on the other end. And, when the technicians arrived they too were friendly, knowledgeable and so polite while explaining what needed to be repaired. I have used Valley Comfort and referred them for years. In my humble opinion, they are the best.

New home HVAC installed Feb ‘25. Done quickly and well by a good professional team. Tricky thermostat replacement and move required skill and experience, and was well done. Everything was very well done, from the estimate through completion of the install.

Such a great team! On time, respectful, and very fast. Travis and Gustavo were highly detailed and considerate of our time and home. They installed 2 units, took away our old furnace, patched the wall (where the furnace used to be), AND went above and beyond when completing the job by ensuring all items were clean, put back better than they found it, & electrical was acting as it should before leaving. They took good care of us and would highly recommend and work with them again!

Valley Comfort is the only firm that will service my old Cozy gas heater. They are careful, polite, and effectively keep my old heaters going. I highly recommend them!

Just five minutes ago the technician Travis departed after diagnosing the issue that stopped my AC working suddenly yesterday. Being an engineer myself, I have observed that he is super experienced, and he did not make any judgments and said he needs to take a look from the very basic and then move from there on to find the root cause which could have been a power surge potentially. He started with the thermostat, put it in a permanent mode and checked the fuse and to my surprise apparently, the two fuses were busted! Luckily he had the two new 30 Amps fuses which he replaced with and bingo, the unit started cooling.
He will come back to finish up the servicing and to do a general check. If I had an option he would be my guy to service my equipment. I'm very impressed with his professionalism ability to explain and thoroughly look at what could have gone wrong and that is the Marc office good technician. I am sharing an honest opinion and you just need to try him and you will be convinced like me. Valley Comfort Heating Co. has amazing office staff at the service technician is stellar. Are Highly recommended if anybody's looking for reliable servicing company.

I recently hired Valley Comfort Heating and Air to look at my wall furnace. A week prior, I had another established 35+ year old HVAC company from Petaluma have a man out. It was determined I had a leaking gas valve on the unit. I opted to have a new valve installed rather than a new furnace, considering mine was only less than two year's old.(one tenth the cost) After installation of the new valve, I was told it leaked also. I was given a quote of 5,400.00 for a new wall furnace.

I decided to have a second opinion. Juan from Valley Comfort replaced the same valve. There are no leaks and the furnace seems to be working fine. I was given a one year warranty. Juan was polite, on time, and professional. I will be using Valley Comfort HVAC in the future.

Once again, the team at Valley Comfort have provided excellent service! Our thanks go out to Lisa in the office, and Jose, the field technician. We take great comfort having them service both our heater and AC, keeping both in excellent working order.

A technician came over the same morning I made my call for service. And Dennis was wonderful. He diagnosed the immediate problem quickly, listened to my concerns and answered my questions about proper maintenance so we can keep our ac/furnace functioning optimally. Felt very well cared for and happy to have everything working well.

Terrific Company. Honest, reliable and did a great job cleaning the heating ducts in our home....and also did some minor repairs to the duct vents under the house. Paul and his assistant Saba were professional, courteous and skilled in their work. We highly recommend this company.
